  • I love Fr-777!!! great rhythm trip...

  • mpc also runs internal fx - why use the Xenyth?

I'm also thinking of going with the 2500....with my spectralis2

  • Uhm! I like!!!!! I would love to have the 777 ;-)

  • danke !!!!!!!!!

  • what's the oscilator you're using?

  • The acid-sound sounds a bit like the SID chip from the C64 :)

  • ???

  • sid couldn´t do that sounds

  • @ssalient yes the SID chip is amazing ! with the 2007 software it is acid all the way but the resonance on fr777 and tb303 is way more intense but the SID rocks ! If they had the software 20 years ago . . wow :)

  • Dude that was sweet

    Juicy Analog!!!

  • Hi booster 69 and thank you for posting this! Now I'd like to know if you are using the MPC2500 just as sequencer to comand the 808 here. Thanks! -mick

  • All 808, 909 drum sounds are samples on the MPC2500. But triggering an 808 with a MIDI retrofit kit would also work.

  • einfach nur GEIL

  • really good. i got a strong 808 State vibe off it, and that's never a bad thing!

  • less fake than me, and i got an 808 :)

  • sounds like jordan - buckethead

  • oops wanted to push up this comment it does in fact sounds like jordan - buckethead

  • that would be a sik track 4 a tekken game

  • I hope you have record of it because it have to be mixed.

  • You obviously dont appreciate proper Acid music mate !!!

  • MIDI doesn't "sound" like anything. It's a way to control stuff!!

  • yeah and its sexy, analog computers talking and synching with each other in real time. I love it!

  • nice man. i really appreciate that. pretty good for just messin around

  • great acid track from the old skool

  • Totally brodally!11!!11

  • yyyyyyyeeessss .. nice track

  • Nice work

  • That is how it be

  • Magnificent! I own a 777 and I am starting to really groove it nicely with an Xbase 999, but I am awestruck by your on-the-fly moves with the Akai. Nice job.

  • Niiiiice. The 777 is like that calculus class you had in high school.... one day you go in, and just like that, you 'get it', and all the knobs find nice cozy little homes in your mind's bedroom. I've owned two of them (still own the SN#666), and I cannot imagine my life without one. While this can get close to the 303, the 303, conversely, cannot even approach the sonic mayhem that is the 777. Nice 'verb btw...and nice clean knob manipulation! thanks!

  • I now what you mean, the controls at first seem daunting, but after a few hours with it you learn the power that this thing has. I love it!

The reverb is coming from the internal effects on my Xenyx 1202FX mixer!

  • nnnnnnnnnnnoooooooo. That's like putting Prego ontop of of a nice pasta al dente vero! Well, the 'verb sounds nice all the same. Xenyx must be a step up from their other stuff.. cool!

  • I know!! It's a "stopgap" mixer only.

With all the outputs on my other gear I need a bigger mixer anyway.

Oh, and I have also just installed KDFX on my Kurzweil K2500R, so I should be able to route external stuff through that soon!! :-)

  • Likewise...I just invested in a speck xsum and MH 2882. You have gear worth of this type audio quality. The difference is NIGHT and DAY in what you end up with...all the magic of analog and 'live' is captured and the transients come through and the headroom and the bassssss... KDFX will be hoppin'! post vids!

  • Upload some more sounds.

I could listen to this for hours!!

  • The 777 sounds real good, not quite the same sound as a 303 but damn close, and a lot more sound control!

The pad is a sample played back from the MPC.

I only got these recently so I'm still learning the controls!!

  • Love that FR777, it has such a great sound.

The pad that played halfway through; was that the MPC or some other gear?

  • Propz...That was "Sick"!!
