  • Did you mean 2.95 inches in length?

  • there is rubber under the tailcap. you can take it off for cleaning

  • Don't have one of these but I love the preon 2!!

  • Solid review! Just ordered the Preon 2 in blue. I think I would like one of these too! But I wish it just came with that end cap.

  • @tecstrat I agree. Thanks for watching.

  • how much did the clicky cost?

  • @stun279 $10 i believe.

  • @edgedweapon88 thanks!

  • what would you guys buy.. the LD01 or a 4Sevens Preon 1?

  • @tigreslokos They are both great lights. I like the 4sevens UI better though.

  • @edgedweapon88 quick (= lol, but the Fenix is brighter by 25 lumens.. that's the thing haha, I like the Preon but the Fenix is brigther.. Another thing, if I get a complete Preon 2, and a Preon 1 body only, can I use the head and tail of the 2 but in a 1 body? I dunno if I'm making myself clear lol, forgive me if I'm not :/

  • @tigreslokos ideally you could do that but you will not get the same output as a stock preon 2. I believe the emitter head on the preon 2 is different so that you get higher lumen outputs.

  • @edgedweapon88 if that was possible it would be a great advantage.. you could edc the 1 and whenever you know ur gonna need more just convert it to the 2.. what do you think about the iTP lights? any good¿?

  • @tigreslokos I have never heard of them.

  • @edgedweapon88 oh well.. haha, one last question, sorry if I got a bit (too) annoying but.. any sugestions around the $40 USD price range?

  • @tigreslokos You can ask as many questions as you want. I would check out the 4sevens quark mini 123 and the fenix pd20. If your looking for a pen light than the ones we talked about are good options. Fenix also makes a pen light like the preon 2.

  • @edgedweapon88 yeah I've seen the ld05 I believe?.. but I'm looking for something like the size of the Preon 1 or ld01, I might as well end up with the Preon RevO, looks like 4Sevens' response to the ld01..

and about the mini 123, it's kinda complicated, because of the battery type, I live in Mexico and the price for a single CR123 is quite high.. so I'd rather go for a single AAA or AA light, plus those are slim (=

  • @tigreslokos The revo is a good option. Have you seen the 4sevens quark mini AA or the streamlight microstream.

  • @edgedweapon88 yeah the Mini AA is still an option, and I saw that with a 14500 you can get over 200 lumens, but I'd feel like I'm raping the light so I'll keep it at 90 haha.. and well the Microstream is around 25 lumens and I want a bit more power like u said in this vid lol..

  • @tigreslokos the only other option I can think of would be the nitecore d10 or d11. I have the d11 and it puts out 145 linens on a AA. Nitecore also make a AAA light but I forget what its called.

  • @edgedweapon88 or the EZ-AA looks good too! well i gotta go now, i got some things to do.. whenever I come to a decision I'll let u know, when I get whatever I get haha.. thanks a lot man, I coudn't have found someone else to help me this way, thanks a lot man! and for all ur videos too!! cheers!

  • @tigreslokos anytime man!

  • nice review!

  • Darn. It seems that the 20 lumen microstream has more throw than the 70 lumen preon on its highest mode.

  • @fake1009 The Microstream throws a tighter beam but the Preon 1 has a wider spill.

  • @edgedweapon88 How did you get it with a clicky switch???

  • @MsTechDude You have to order it seperately from 4sevens website.

  • My Preon 1 R5 version is a great light, BUT DON'T BUY THE NEW S2 VERSION! It's NOT brighter yet it costs more (at least the one they sent me). And then if you are ever unsatisfied with something from 4Sevens, good luck in getting them to stand behind their word and send you a light that is as bright as advertised. Nothing but excuses about how brightness and tint are "subjective" and how they don't have the manpower to help you out except to refund you. I just want what they advertised.

  • I want to get a blue Preon 1 with a titanium clicky cap. I think that would look awesome.

  • Great review, I have the Preon 2 Titanium...awesome little light!

  • @bankmind80 Thanks for watching!

  • What a beautiful color blue. Love this little light. Thanks for sharing.

  • @LiveLoveTry Thank you for watching!

  • Dang! Darn subscription box skipping videos. As always Great, in depth review!

  • @bigbubba5037 Sorry about that man. Thanks for watching!

  • What is the price? Thanks.

  • @grantman234533 $37 without the clicky cap

  • great flashlight, normaly where can i buy some flashlight like that, here in Arizona(Nogales) it's kinda harder to get cool stuff like that, great vid!!!

  • @faithgoshi I got it directly from 4Sevens.

  • Fantastic vid!!! You might want to take a look at Leatherman's little Monarch 100. I got one last year and it is one of the best little flashlights I've ever had. Great lighting from it! And if I remember correctly, the price tag was like $20.

  • @cmonsterz I will give it a look. Thanks for watching.

  • gr8 vid. loved the lumen comparison at the end. I have most of the flashiights you mentioned. keep up the good work!!!

  • @MongoWongo777 Thanks for the kind comment! I appreciate you watching.

  • I love 4Sevens. They pack a ton of punch. I have the Preon 2 in 4 colors.

  • @MongoWongo777 I agree. Thanks for watching.

  • excellent review Keelen! Im looking at a few different 4sevens lights currently

    Great pics and video!

  • @knivesNstuff45 I have 3 so far and they keep coming out with newer ones! Too many to choose from! Thanks for watching Levi.

  • Since my microstream crapped out on me, I MUST try this little guy out!

I shall check ebay for one! Thanks for the review! I also love that it's blue!

  • @katabunga You will really like it if you pick one up! Don't forget to get the clicky cap separately if you like that feature. Thanks for watching Kat!

  • Thank you for another great review.I'm always looking forward to your very interesting and professional reviews. ***** GB

  • @noquie1 Thanks so much for the kind words.

  • You should def check out County Comm's Maratac line of flash lights

  • @FoxxCross That is on the list of things to get!! Thanks for watching.

  • i just picked up an inova microlight with a high low and strobe. and continuous on. i stashed the penlight i was using. i also used the penlight in my uniform pen pocket. i got a stronger light for my uniform. i also have a streamlight nano on my keys. im downsizing. since i realized my cargo shorts weigh a ton. i like how your preon has the hard clicky button. nice touch. i dont prefer the twist either. why dont you carry the quark mini 123. thats a powerful light. it is fatter but managable.

  • @PavlovSandor I do carry the Quark 123 but only with certain clothes. Thanks for watching.

  • i always carry my preon 1, i usually use it as a back up bike light though

  • @shummyshum Very good idea. Thanks for watching.

  • Great review as usual! 4seven have great flashlights! The preon 1 and 2 AA are the next gear i'll buy! Thanks for sharing!

  • @cadrician Thanks for watching.

  • I have the preon 2 along with the Quark AA, I have to say I'm loving both quite a bit, I use them more than my sure fire lights. the preon 2 puts out 180 lumen s, absolutely outrageous, lol, especially for a triple A type flashlight, along the the quark putting out 204 lumen's using double A. The AI system is really nice.

Thanks for showing, I'll have to add one of those as well. :) I can never have enough gear.

    All the best.

    racerx32

  • @racerx32 Thanks for watching racerx. I appreciate your comment.

  • Great review, loved all the awesome info you included. Thanks for sharing

  • @awomansworld123 Thank you for watching!

  • Hi great review as always. Im not sure if you won a Gunnies award but you sure do diserve it. I was wondering if you know a good edc "Clickie" light that is at least 40 lumens or higher with 1 or 2 modes that are normal light output no strobe or anything. ( i know the specifications are really strict lol but that is what i prefer, any help would be great thankyou. iJYV

  • @iJockYourVideos The 4Sevens Preon 1 is really the closest light that meets your requirements. I will let you know if I come across anything else that fits the requirements better. Thanks for your comment.

  • Excellent review. I had a streamlight micro and lost it only to find that it went through the washing machine. I didn't think it would work, but it worked like new. Is the preon waterproof? How does the price compare to the micro? Also I don't like how you have to go through all the settings twice to get to the strobe.

  • @biguy525 Yes it is waterproof(IPX8 standards). The price is $37 for the Preon and $20 for the Microstream. Well worth the extra cash in my opinion. Strobe is a hidden mode so it is not meant to be easy to get to. 4Sevens offers other lights that have strobe as a primary mode if you are more interested in that.

  • that is one kewl little flashlight i wouldnt mind owning one myself being that i live in the high desert

  • @42cujo Thanks for watching.

  • ps the cap on the preon is an aluminum cover that covers a rubber switch you can remove it but the ruber cap will fall off if you do the cap is just to keep the rubber form ripping

  • i have a black preon 2 and i love it coming in at 160 lumens i love it

  • @ace19636 Very cool. Thanks for watching!

  • just picked this up yesterday

  • @weaponer72 I hope you enjoy it. Thanks for watching.

  • Awesome!

  • @CaptainAwesomeJr Thanks for watching.
