  • I think you should've practice this classic a bit more but your voice and the high notes sound splendid. Btw what type of horn do you play?

  • @matthe07

i definitely agree with you. i didn't put in as much time as i should have. i had a bunch of other things going on as well, so that didn't help with the limited time i had to practice.

and i play a Yamaha 8310Z, Bobby Shew model trumpet.

  • hey, just wondering for the fast parts with the big intervals, are you slurring them or toughing them?

  • @LetsTalkify

i'm assuming you're talking about the runs?

    i am slurring them.

if you're talking about the big interval jumps

toward the end of the piece, im tonguing on every beat

  • Nice solo. I'm not a trumpet player, but it sounded pretty good to me. Great job!

  • hah Miyamura would totally disapprove of my playing...every time i come in, i do a head bob thing which creates inconsistency with pitches and what not hah, my bad.

  • kindo slow in the beginning. you rushed a lot at the a tempo and you didnt quite reach the c on the e flat to c gliss. so far far pretty good. keep working on it and it will sound awesome.

  • yeah, i never went that fast on the a tempo part before till that day, i guess adrenaline just kicked in and the pianist wasn't ready for that. and yes, i missed a lot of pitches on that day, always seems to be better in practice, no?

  • awesome!!!!

  • Dang, Nick, I didn't know you played so good O: I just thought you were great at math and making paper air planes. xD
