If you put the potato in on the end without tamping it and then spray in the air spray and then tamp the potato, this compresses that gas, it will go three times further - but make darn sure that the tube is really strong.

Keep the large plenum in the back but use smaller fittings for more containment.

trying to get the air to fuel mixture correct is very hard to do...... ether. or starting fluid is best... one 1/8 second burst is ALL you ever need. i got my record of 1888 feet with it... and thats all i use now. pluss, its cheap- 98 cents for a can at walmart.
