So sad that this film never came out. If it had it would have one Suzanne a whole new legion of fans. I hope that it was not artistic differences that stalled the effort. If so I would encourage Suzanne to get out of the way and let the filmmaker do his job. In the end its the song and Suzanne's artistry that will shine through and reach so many. Lets get this film done people!!!
"Some Journey" is a little obvious, though, and S. Vega is, if anything, NOT obvious--her songs are much much deeper than they appear, and moreso, than just about any other singer-songwriter I know of. She makes Dylan and Cohen seem simplistic....
Eh, nevermind, Some Journey is a fine title. Several lyrics from S.B.T. would make great titles (e.g. Scattering Like Light; Raining Down In Pieces) or even great band names, but I guess the title of your film is already pretty firm. Peace
Excellent opening portrait of Suzanne. I have always admired her for following her own inner voice. Her sound remains unique in a landscape of same and more of the same. I look forward to seeing the opening with the middle and end!
Thankyou, lovely sister, for sharing this with me! This is exactly what I needed to see tonight. I love Suzanne's wonderful unique style, she is an inspiration to me!
Great !! You must know we are waiting expectantly for this documentary. Looks terrific so far. Interestingly, some of the opening comments sound summative, like closing remarks. It makes me wonder about the upcoming journey. Really looking forward to seeing the completed work on the big sreen. Best wishes. Peace, Ra

Small Blue Thing would be a better title for the doc. Great work otherwise; can't wait for it to come out...
