not with the minimoog...Magic uses a dx100 which is alot more treble based unlike the minimoog which has alot more bass sound...much deeper...but magic also turns his volume up all the way on his dx and turns his volume down on his amp to give it his own sound style...

@pazzion2008 I doubt he'll get that sound out of this Moog. MC Magic uses a Yamaha DX-100. MiniMoog Voyagers have a fatter thick, rich tone.

Sounds like one of those things they give people who had their larynx removed with throat cancer! (It looks like a tube and they hold it to their throat, the vibrations are turned into speech. I don't know how they work but I saw someone with one when I was young.)

im jammin on the same boards as you haha, microkorg and dx-100 are sicc but the minimoog is like beyond siccness, for talkbox and bass, i wanna get one so i can make some bernie worrell type bass and talkbox ontop of it. think the best minimoog is the Voyager, hav'nt seen it for less then $2200 though.

I recently discovered too that if you go to moogs website you can download the patches for the anniversary version, which has the masters actual patches... mix that with a nuther new trick - going stereo cable out from the phones jack and cranking the volume on it beofre going into the board, and sudenly the berniew worrell,s chick coreas, and roger troutmans dont seem soo smart hahaha....
