@nevanthegreat hes not that hard. first part use your shield bash on the red crystals, dont even bother hitting him with your sword. second part, use the sword to deflect the crystals, avoid close combat, and when he does that grunting when he teleports, run and when he comes down just swing wildly at him

Skyward sword was made to be bring together the very best of all the zelda games in one without compromising the core experience, in celebration of Zelda´s 25 anniversary. Whether or not it has reached such an ambitious goal is purely subjective, and mostly irrelevant. My point is that Ghirahim is the best Zelda villain, in my opinion, due to the very points you raised in your comment.
