There is museum in the shipyard of hiroshima,kure which yamato was prepared into. I seem to play in a pond over there. I live in Kure, but memory is not sure whether there was such a pond.... haha
people have been doing that for more than 20 years now. Look at my profile or search for "model warship combat" to find some videos of real combat models that fight and sink with .177-.250 steel ball bearings.

It sure looks like it! Hmmm replace it's "16 inchers" with 6mm airsofts or .177 cal. BBs and that will be a TRUE battleship! Awesome!
