  • The Jehovah's witnesses claim you are adding prohibitions to the Quran in regard to refusing blood transfusions. I am not a Jehovah's witness but some feedback would be helpful.

  • how about postmortem organ donations?

  • Many times, v r caught by lack of logic and trying to be very "technical" in our following of the Quran. When I listen to commentary like this, I can't help but feel how much disservice we have performed towards the "mankind" by not doing what v r commanded 2 do by Allah (sbwt) only because the other person is not "Muslim". By not, also, following many other examples of philanthropy we devalue Islam in the eyes of others while we like 2 give dawah. May Allah (sbwt) guide us better. Ameen

  • salam alaykoum, iam french and i don't really understand what zakir naik says.

can someone write me what he says? It is really important for me.

    Thank you!

  • @aminabmh he said organ + blood donation is certainly permissible if you follow 3 simple rules:

    1. if the donation has a major (life saving) benefit to the recipient

    2. you must be healthy (able to donate) and that you do not give in excess (unhealthy to you)

    3. do not give for money (donation, not selling).

Refer to Qur'an Chapter 5 Verse 32 for the example.

  • @Nirmanakaya Thank you so much! =)

  • What if a Christian gave blood to save a Muslim life? Would the Muslim be permitted to accept the blood? And vice versa. Are the medical records really that detailed? A bunch of questions pop up in my mind watching this video.

  • @nemesisbreakz according to my understand the Muslim is permitted to accept the blood. I don't know about the Christian viewpoint (that is, if they are permitted to accept the blood of a Muslim to save their life).

But in most cases in where you will be receiving a transfusion, you cannot possibly know who it came from.

  • @nemesisbreakz yes a christian can help a muslim..and it is a must for a muslim to help people but not to help them act against Allah

  • @nemesisbreakz I just asked my sheikh and he says yes its permissable

  • @nemesisbreakz yes my brother to save a life of a human being Muslim can have a blood of a Christan and even any other human being............on other hand i myself donated blood to my Christan friend their is nothing wrong in saving a life of a human being.......... as Quran says"if u save a life of a single human being.....it is as u have saved the whole of humanity "

  • and yet the muslim haters call 'islam is of the devil' and much more.

  • Wow, i'm a muslim and i dont even know that the Quran has this : "If you save a human being(never state whether a muslim or not), it's as if you have save the whole of human kind" (Ch.5 v.32)

i think this is very logical, because imagine if its possible to go back in time with a time machine, lets say 10 000 years ago, and save a man of that time from a certain death, just imagine how many human being would be produced after 10 000 years, if he did not die and start producing childrens!

  • @juujuubie Good thinking!! I've never thought of it that way!

  • i was just a little intrigued by this, zakir naik said that its okay to give blood if this means that you are saving the life of another individual. However, how does this fit in to.. If Allah wills. If allah wants it to be the end of your life, he will end it. So how can another indivdiual interfere? Could anyone explain this in a little more detail? jzakallah khairun

  • @alhumdullilah

The way you think about a question like that is to know that Allah wills whatever He wants. If so Allah wills for your life to be saved by appointing/allowing a certain person to donate blood to save another individual. So it all goes back to Allah willing what He wants. If its written for this individual to not have a compatible blood type with anyone else somehow, Allah can make it happen surely.

  • @alhumdullilah If Allah willed it then there would be no other alternative, and if there is an alternative or a chance of survival it is allahs will for u to survive for most definitly when it is a persons time to leave this world they will do so even facing every atempt that cud be made to save there lives, thats is how i see this issue, just my viewpoint!

  • @alhumdullilah

if ur saving the life of an individual,it is also by Allah's will , we can do absolutely nothing of our own will ! ur question is , if Allah wants to end ur life, he will end it so how can we interfere. the answer is: how do u know whether Allah wants to end someone's life ? we dont know this unless the person dies, so till the person is alive , we should help him in all possible ways and if he still dies, then that is cuz Allah wished so, hope u feel less confused, wasalam
