  • So much fail in these comments. All M engines from E46/E39 onwards (and maybe earlier) have an orange zone approaching the red line. The red line is before the red, hence the name...

  • that's not a real M engine, with redline at 6500

  • @MrDodobmw is manual! at first by e46 m3 and e60 m5 was smg gearbox
