I am the person who wrote the music and the lyrics to this song. I have only now come upon all the compliments on my plethora of clever words. It was a delightful show to write songs for; I got away with breaking alot of song writing rules with great success. Some of my favorite lyrics I wrote for this show was "Arctic explorers of the vast expanse consider khaki drawers to be acceptable pants". This was for the Hatter and Hare.

They really ARE both Mad Hatters. The real one is just named the Mad Hatter. The Copy-Catter Hatter is a TRULY mad Hatter.

But, in this, being insane is a good thing, so being sane and evil is a bad thing, as The Glad Hatter (Copy Catter Hatter) showcases.
