as far as the hammering off/fingerpicking, try this: sounds similar..
start on the second string, 7th fret. hammer on/off to the 8th fret. pick the g string at the 9th fret, then pick the second string at the 7th fret again, then pick the 9th fret, followed by the 7th fret on the g string. thats all i have so far
