  • i hate italian football. Dives everywhere. Fuck Materazzi.

  • Its a good thing he didn't play for the USA because he would have been on a loosing side, behind in world football, judging by the game that they got routed by spain, and also in the olympics by nigeria, and the world cup by ghana, still have a long way to go before they compete on the world stage

  • @live215 Dude, you do realize that 3 of the four goals Spain had in that game were without most of the USA's starters? Second off, the USA had tied the Netherlands just before that Nigeria match, and nearly won it. The Ghana game was pretty close as well, and Ghana are a damn good team. Second off, the USA has really only JUST started competing, with teams like Brazil and Spain, they're not QUITE there yet, but they're making progress for sure.

  • @TheNearPost the fact is you will guys won't reach it since you don't believe in hiring foreign coaches who know the world game, prime example being galaxy vs. real madrid, real madrid posession most of the time, why???????? lack of a tatical defensive approach by galaxy, hence no success

  • @live215 Who said we don't believe in that sort of thing? It's not like fans don't want a foreign coach, although I don't really hate the one we have right now. Moreover, possession means NOTHING. Switzerland and the USA beat Spain in consecutive years with less of the possession - why? A tactical defensive procedure that meant even though Spain had possession, they didn't get many clear routes to goal. Furthermore, that's the LA Galaxy - they're not as good as team USA.

  • @TheNearPost switzerland played defense, purely, anytime a team has 9 of their players in side the box of course you will get one chance on the contrary possession means everything, team who has the ball and treats the ball with care more, more chances of scoring, and unsettling oppenents. If ball possession means nothing why did spain win the world cup? patient ball possession, and moving the ball quick and keeping it on the ground

  • @live215 The USA did the exact same thing as Switzerland, and you know what else, the Swiss coach stated that he followed the exact same game plan as the USA had against Spain. Possession doesn't mean more chances. Not even close. Spain had possession against the USA/Swiss, but were forced wide by the fact that the USA kept it tight in the center. Spain were then forced to deal with tall centerbacks. Sometimes they didn't even have a wide outlet, which led to few clear-cut chances.

  • @TheNearPost you wont make it in football, without technique, something that is instilled in foreign players from the ground up, so posession, is part of technique, technique doesn't just mean on the ball it means off the ball as well. something that leads to more goals, as shown here.

  • @live215 I never said that you don't need technique in football. I'm saying that good tactics can overcome technique or better quality in players. Not 100% of the time, but it most certainly can. Moreover, teams that have good technique don't always have possession. There are plenty of teams that have have a lot of technique and get very little possession. Give this sight a very thorough look and you'll know what I mean.

  • @TheNearPost scratch out that part about the sight.

  • @TheNearPost every football game is different, but it comes down to a couple of things letting the ball work for you, fluid passing, technique, free flowing style of play, and tactics apply

  • im Italian-American so i understand why he wanted to play for Italy instead of the US but boy i sure wish he did we would be much better

  • MMM.. pizza, ahh..

  • Zlatan Ibrahimovic

  • burn

  • queste persone sono molto stupidi. . .

  • wow, what skill!! He missed the shot! Amazing!

  • just dirty

  • I have to admit he is the best AMERICAN grown player today, but he is still a

    TRADITORE!

  • @TheUSAfootballer excuse me did you say grown???????? He went to Italy when he was about 13!!!!!!! He's a good player because his parents are passionate about the game, it's their life, here In America people don't give a shit about football. The kids will play when they're young, after that they slow start playing other sports like basketball, American football, baseball.

  • @TheUSAfootballer then your whole team is full of "traditori" seeing as they all originate from different countries. don't think your current team's multi ethnical problem better off than france's. rossi is pure italian, pure italian blood, trained by italians. now if he breathed american air for a dozen years that means pure shit. you must have shit for brains.

  • @TheUSAfootballer He played in Italy as a child, and then he went to Manchester United.

How the fuck Rossi could be "grown american" in football? He was born in the US and there spent his first years.

  • forza italia....

    giovinco,marchisio,balotelli,g rossi,cassano,gilardino,pirlo,gattusso,chellini,bonucci,gobbi,gamberni,buffon,canavaro,

  • Comment removed

  • is like a very similar case here in Mexico Nery Castillo play for mexico born in Mexico but his parents are Uruguayan Uruguayans to me is since I heard him speak, his parents raised him as a Uruguayan has nothing to do who was born in mexico so that that blood must be called to give me courage when I say Mexican is a Mexican god has nothing so clear or more

  • jaja as this is a never-ending story of inventions Americans just have to watch the football history of Italy against the usa jaja regrettable, while the Americans have done nothing italy has raised four cups of the world seems little besides what always produces cracks that calcio is one thing to acquire habits of the place where you were born, and quite another to race the real genes rossi has 100% Italian blood because his parents are Italian so clear or more

  • loool, dont use google to translate in italian

  • @danixxxxx88 your italian is very shit!

  • You are a queer. Rossi is not a traitor. If I was as dank as Rossi, I'd also play for Italy. Italy is way better than the United States. Rossi single-handedly denied the U.S. the victory in the Confed. Cup. Landon Donovan is a pussy. Finally, I agree with danixxx, don't use google to translate italian. Arrivederci!

  • @TheUSAfootballer

    Rossi è italiano!!

Rossi is Italian!! not use the translator google!!

ps. your game is baseball! not football!

  • @TheUSAfootballer wat r u trying to say my friend i get that ur saying that rossi is a traitor and i agree and im even italian! so tell me wat ur trying to say

  • @TheUSAfootballer hahaha very very bad italian

  • @Italia311 at least eh tried! al meno lui ha provato!

  • @TheUSAfootballer USA WE ARE 4 time CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD,!!!!!!

  • @TheUSAfootballer

giuseppe rossi mangerà pure la pizza ma almeno gioca in una nazionale con le palle.

Altidore è una fighetta in confronto.

  • Best Young Italisn Player

    #1 : Giovinco

    #2 : Rossi

    #3 : Marchisio

  • "Super" Mario Ballotelli

  • Sorry man but he hes italian :), Rossi Balotelli Macheda UUUUUUUUU Italyyyyyy :):):) 2006 and 2010 :):):):):)

  • American talent !?

He's pure ITALIAN talent, he has the Azzuri blood, he has the footballing blood. No American has that !

  • That is All-American ball handling. The Italian suck on th ball and that is why they play the game so slow. He is the most unique of all the Italian fowards.

  • one word for you... BAGGIO, arguably the most gifted striker in the history of the game..

  • @fulloftruth Arguably means not.

  • sorry to make you look like an english class dropout here... but arguably means there is room for doubt, meaning it can be argued about but there is a strong chance it is possible.. dont believe me see a dictionary. besides, my point was that Baggio is at the same calibre as say brazilian Ronaldo maybe even higher and hes ITALIAN. italians produce 100 times better strikers than americans do thanks.

  • baggio is the best and if u want to give these ignorant ppl some info about the italian strikers ill help u

franco zola , paolo di canio , di natale , quagliarella , gillardineo , del pierro , these are strikers with dribbling skills

vierry ravanelli tony jaquinta inzagi and those are strikers with accuracy and headers skills

do i need to go on

one last thing this italian team has mora than 15 players that to start and has the best midfield and forward an italian ream

  • @libancall lol thanks.. del piero is my fav over all and i also think that di natale should be on the 2010 squad because he's very under rated in my opinion... quaglirella is good as well.. rossi is still a bit young to be a great player but he has talent and will become much better with experience. and i also like ur list.. u got good knowledge and 100% right those guys are GREAT strikers.. everybody thinks italian strikers are bad i dont know why cuz they rival even brazil... skill wise.

  • they are way better than brasilian striker because brasil brings great offensive midfielders not strikers other than romario and ronaldo in the past 15 years brasil didnt give not one decent striker

this WC is gonna shock alot of ppl with the preformance italy is gonna give

as for rossi i think he should make the bench coz with his dribbling skills he can score a goal out of scratch and u dont know when ull need him cheers and regards

  • part of me is hoping for italy to win a 5th cup :).. i think every team is even this time around.. everybody thought brazil would win in 06 but look what happened.. lets keep our fingers crossed ;)

  • heheh we sure will

  • lol btw libancall you spelt almost all those players wrong it's gilardino, del pieRo, vieri, tonI, Iaquinta, inzagHi

  • hehehe i love the italian team but im not italian so sorry about that and 10x

  • no it doesn't...arguably means from many point of views so it's more like SURELY.

  • retard he played for the US when he was young he lived in the US for 15 years and even played baseball when he was little...idk a person more american than that,,,,

  • whos a better prospect rossi or balotelli??

  • Well, they don't play the same position, but if Balotelli ever adopts a winning mentality he's probably the bigger prospect. But Rossi is one of the top ten second strikers in the world IMO and Balotelli is nothing more than a prospect. I think Rossi will outdo Balotelli in the years to come.

  • And the yankees believe that Giuseppe Rossi is Amerdican Rossi is 100& Italian , 0% yankee

  • Yourfilthy, you need about a good brain and about a good cup of chamomille. If Rossi is yankee you are from Mars planet. Ridicolous

  • american, not amedican..

  • @uberalles90 Not saying he isnt Italian, but he lived in USA for the first 12 years of his life. Hardly 0% yankee

  • E vogliono naturalizzare gli stranieri...

  • ahhhh wat a naughty man(Rossi)

  • rossi is the most talentuos younger boy in italy...gook luck to him

  • you mean america right??

  • Did the goalie get a piece of the ball or was it heading out anyways?

  • no, the goalie didnt touch the ball..

  • Ahh... it would have been cooler if he had struck the ball properly, but the feint was world class.

  • yes i was seeing this match live and it was truly amazing.

  • thats wat we like to call dirty sanchez rite there

  • that wus a nice fake.

  • grande pepe forza azurra

  • what a gun

  • he is extreamly talented
