Ha ha, this is so hilarious!! Ferdinand was such a character. I'm not surprised he died alone and bitter after seeing the destruction of his throne and his family.
Ferdinand was expelled from Bulgaria at 1918, after the loss of the WWI. He was really with a very bad character, I do not wonder of this video at all. He was an European aristocrat, but not gentlemen, indeed.
His successor and son Boris III was an example of modesty, human behaviour, good will and devotion to the country.
VM wasn´t what you'd call a blushing flower... She was already a divorcee, and married a Tsar cousin without permission. And the sequence of her like an offended queen made me smile, she was acting all the time. As you see, I don't like her...
Apart from that, Bulgaria was at that time a Monarchy, while Russia wasn't. Ferdinand was still styled "Majesty" and addressed "King" while his son was the reigning King of the Bulgarians. Of course GD Viktoria was to be the Empress de jure of All the Russias and some styled and addressed her as "HIM Empress Viktoria", but within the royal circle she was "just" a Grand Duchess of Russia, wife of the Head of the Imperial Family.
@Reapera You are right, but we have to remember that anyone wich have reigned is call "king" for ever and ever, even if his reigned for some minutes. King Ferdinand was invited at this marriage called "King of Bulgaria" in invitations.
