wow, i'm used to the sight of thin girls but these girls are seriously too much. every one of these girls is probably in pain every day and it's likely they all fasted for days before this show. i'll bet you not one of them weighs more that 110... i do like thinness but this is actually really terrible

@gluntford they're just the same models from all the other shows. the clothes just emphasize their shape: vertical stripes, skinny pants, uncovered upper arms.

handbags wouldnt really go with this collection, i think it would have ruined it because its very minimalist and graphic. but just because they dont show handbags on the runway doesnt mean they wont make any, they always make handbags Balenciaga just almost never shows them on the runway.

@rvggarcon in fall 09, balenciaga shows its handbag on the runway once. in my opinion, balenciaga is a clothing company, so the strength relies on the cut and fabric on the garment. accessories roles is to complement the clothing, not to overshadow the garment itself.

@naimabep Yes, exactly. But like most luxury labels, it makes most of it's money from leather goods (bags.) So obviously it always produces them season after season, but you're right. On the runway it should be all about the clothes and they know that.

This collection is so edgy and amazing and cool. It takes a very unique kind of girl to pull these kinds of clothes off. Celebrities think they can just wear these outfits straight off the runway, as though we won't know the only reason they're wearing it is because it's Balenciaga and they don't have enough creativity to adapt the looks to their own personal style.
