  • The head contacted the stirring wheel.. U call it safe at 60kph instead of 10kph?

  • 10 mph?

  • this car got 0 of 5 ncap stars....

  • look at 0:23. It looks like a Toyota Tercel/Corsa

  • this would fail euro ncap test

  • @bradleyblackster

And the Euro NCAP would have better testing conditions, such as the use of high speed cameras.

  • Well, at least it fared better than the Brilliance China Auto BS6 at any rate.

  • @netsurferx1 The BS6 got 3 stars.

  • @SimHarrison

Of course, that was with a new crash test after a redesign of the model to address the structural issues, though 3 stars is still nothing to really be proud about, IMO.

  • it's a freakin corolla ripoff

  • Why does China still have a long way to go?

Did you know China's GDP is growing about 8-10% a year?

You better invest in these start-up car companies in China.

They can sell these cars to the " DOMESTIC " market , and still make BILLIONS of dollars. The idea is just to have your own auto-industry, to supply your COMMON people with cars at the LOWEST price. Instead exporting your money to other countries.

  • @nuggert Well the fact is, China will be the no'1 world force (in terms of economy) in about 10 years. They are developing very fast, which is not hard to do when you have 1,3 billion people.

  • The more I think about it the more I doubt the C-NCAP! These can be made to promote the Chinese car industry, not show the reality!

  • its all about company profit

they dont care safety or quality etc

thats why i really hate chinese

    chinese = nigga

  • The car is a little bit shitty, it\s HPS can broke after 300km, however this could be easily repared in several hours and serves well after replacing some chinese parts. The price is fantastic, $10000 (in Russia) for leather and 170 HP(it seems to be lowered in documents to 130 HP to reduce tariff) engine sounds good.

  • geely ftw

  • Did anyone see the airbag pop or was it just me?

  • All I can say is I hope this video isn't the same quality they use to make a determination as to what went where. The frame rate and shutter speed aren't anywhere near where it would need to be to see anything.

Hmmm. bad video + slower crash speed. Is it just me, or does that seem fishy.......hmmmmmm

    ;)

  • It is just you, and your prejudice.

all crash tests done by the Chinese NCAP adhere to the international standard.

  • @randompop101 LOL!! yea, right. Talk to me about paint and kid's toys. There is big reason to scrutinize all Chinese products. If they can't make paint for kid's toys safe, what do they think is actually important in safety?

Besides, these aren't allowed to be imported to US or Canada yet, because they don't meet the standards yet. They will eventually, but not yet.

I'd trust a Korean or Japanese car WAY before a Chinese one.

Go hide inside your own prejudice.

  • Miradart, sounds like you're pretty young, probably haven't even grown your pubic hair. You asked a very dumb question, therefore I tried to give you an intelligent answer. Your beloved US of A has produced crap products, such as Mad Cows and poisoned tomatoes. What does it have to do with another product being safe or not? Europe has stricter safety standards than USA, and they already have imported Chinese models. Your point being?

  • @randompop101 The thing is we shouldn't import them. At EuroNCAP they got just a star. Europe makes some mistakes about letting Chinese products that easily into it's markets.

  • So you're from Canada. That's where I'm from too. I thought our own country has sorted out education problems already. It seems like we need to do a lot more to educate young punks about realism and world view

  • @randompop101 You lost the contact with reality too. You thought that China was an underdeveloped country initially and now you are in the other extreme.

  • For your information, China owns Canada's and USA's debt. It has the fastest growing economy in the world. The world's largest market, also the world leader in international exchange reserves. Have you gone on business trips to China? Many cities have become so huge and modern and fast paced that you'd be scared shitless. The Chinese are no longer poor. They are an emerging power even the USA is afraid of. China Now = super economy/market with ultra first world + second world + third world

  • @randompop101 You assume WAY too much. About others, and the proper context about your pseudo facts.

Plus, you are angry. Go annoy someone else.

The empty vessel makes the most noise.

  • It's dumbasses like you who need to wake up. Most of your computer chips, LCDs, telecom products, optic fibers, semi conductors are all designed and produced in China. 85% of what keeps you alive in your little world are made in China. 40% of your fellow genius students( in University) are now from China. China is so modern and advanced both in tech and business/markets that you couldn't compete if you went there. I personally have done so, and I now laugh at those still living in the past

  • @randompop101 Hooooot...Hooot.

I told you the empty vessel was the loudest. You proved it.

    I win!

  • @randompop101 They aren't designed in China. Maybe produced.

  • 1st world my ass

china is still at 5,000 per capita, less than say Thailand but a bit more than Philippines and way less than Mexico and South Korea.

    china=newly industrialized

they still have a long way to go.

  • are you joking? don't underestimate the power of USA and Canada lol, search your Facts! have you not learn your lesson? Japan was almost wife out during world war 2 and that is 1945, US now have the most powerfull tech in the World you don;t know about US OMG!

  • @randompop101 They are poor. 70% are poor. The country is becoming strong but the people are poor.

  • @randompop101 Yes, but that is an image. This has been done to concentrate a lot of people in urban areas to develop the industry. Without massive foreign participation this wouldn't have been possible.

  • The dummy driver just died! RIP! :-) By the way, where is 1/3 of the car, i.e. the front part? Where did it go?

  • У меня такая=)

  • this was pretty good i wonder what the wanna be rolls royce will look like. ps they are nicer than the phantom check out the seats

  • You guys all make me laugh, they said all the same things about Kia 10 years ago. All I can say is watch out big 3, and I live in detroit.

  • If they think this is good, what will they think when they crash test a Malaysian car with C-NCAP standards? 5 STARS!!

  • this got 4/5 stars

  • Because it's C-NCAP. God knows what they're doing there...

  • Watch the video carefully, the dummy's head rebounds so hard off the airbag that it hits the rear door pillar with enough force to crack open a human skull. I suppose that result of instant death is merciful, since if it wasn't for head shot the person would have died in extreme pain from blood loss from shattered legs intertwined in crushed steel.

  • 56 Km/h are TOO SLOW! In such a slow speed, the bar is set so low that everything would pass with flying colors.

Real organizations like EuroNCAP perform collision tests at 64km/h (and let me tell you, it does make a difference). The C-NCAP (aka chinese NCAP), backed by the the Chinese government does it's "tests" at 56km/h.

    Suspect why?

  • N-CAP tests are too slow. Even a tin can would get a passing grade

Give it to EuroNCAP, and you 'll see it crumble like a plastic toy. Nuff said

  • hey firedemon did you see the geely otaka crash test?
