I remember that year Jagr was 4th overall and there were questions that Quebec would trade down to get a good active player(from the Pens) and a good pick in Jagr. Their two choices were Nolan and Jagr. But Jagr said right out that he wouldn't go to Quebec. I don't know if Quebec ever thought about doing any moves but they couldn't miss with Nolan. He was a Neely power forward.
didm'y this guy have 25 goals for the wild this past year. I think he has a few years left but was very good for the sharks mostly, he isn't done though and he is a nice guy still

out of most of the 1990 first round atleast nolan is still playing in nhl.
it was a decent pick..4 other teams passed on jagr.
