@YaoiFanGirlForever If you do a search for Pagan Pride Day Hamilton, you should find their official site. I don't know what they have planned. It's usually in Gage Park, but check their site out.
Yes, the U.S.A. is very hard to live in, nothing but close-minded christians. It gets extremely tough, especially when you have christian parents, my father, thankfully is accepting. Many of my friends are wiccan, and pagan, thankfully. My friend Bella is Wiccan as well, her parents took all of her altar tools, and books on wicca, and literally threw them in the garbage. It makes me sick, and makes me HATE Hypochristians... least that's what I call them..
@ArcaneFaerie My mother almost threw out everything Pagan thing I own, but I got them to a trusted friend first. I can empathize. And I just don't understand why its such a big deal to people.
wow, out of every single video I have seen on youtube, I didn't think to come across this one tonight, I'm a Pagan myself and there is still alot I have to learn and know, trying to do it by myself is hard and in my area it's hard to find one like myself the music in vid is GREAT! :) Cheers to the Religion of Pagan, Wiccan, Druidry and all else! :) , I am glad I came about to this vid :)
u guys dont know that dis is wrong..... i'm not trying to say that u guys should stop doing this but srsly paganism is worshiping the devil and spirits that are from the devil.. but hay if u want to worship him thats ur choice... theres this guy who said the pagan Queen dude it's the devil his got u in his hands and he will never let u go coz ur so deep into his spiritul things.. CHANGE UR WAYS
@mamacitta4l Hmm, hard to worship something we don't believe in don't you think? It's like an Atheist worshiping your god.. You stand as a trite example of what night69angel stated above. Please, grammar is a MUST on YouTube, especailly when you're trying to get your point across.
@mamacitta4l you are so full of shit paganism is thousands of years older than christianity. how many people have been killed by your church... its your beliefs that are evil
@ccfcvalleylad Pagan gods are fallen Angels. The Angels that took the side of Lucifer and later the Watchers that lusted after the daughters of men and went into them and took them as wife's they also became fallen and got kicked out of heaven
@ccfcvalleylad I'm sure they don't know that god was responsible for good and evil until they said it was the devil some 500 years a.d. or that it was a few years after that fact that they proclaimed him to be immortal...their beliefs aren't evil just one-sided and misguided and they are uneducated in their own religion.
Hello beautiful Souls! On this magical day I am very proud to announce the launch of THE PAGAN PRAYER PROJECT. This is your chance, no matter who you are, to share your prayers, rites and invocations with other pagans and be published! Please read more and listen to the video...
Oh My Gosh :D i am going this year i cant wait :D my family is coming to and my Cousins Yay :) thou i am not a Pagan or under the Umbrella of Paganism i am Interested in it :D
It's sad that we as Americans in general remain so closed-minded to pagan faiths. We do everything we can to patronize the rest of the world by showing them how civilized we are concerning the acceptance of other races and religions in our society except for those called themselves pagans. Americans fought a civil war against the British because we were supposed to be pro-freedom of everything.... I guess history is not that accurate as I thought it would be. Pagans are not welcome here at all.
hey, interesting video...never knew things like this happened, my surenames pagan and still dont know to this day how come my family name was given to us....
I deeply respect American pagans, it must be so hard to live in a land with so much hatred and bigotry from the Christian fundie movement. May you all walk in love and light.
@raynman2464 There is no doubt in my mind there is groups of Pagans in the USA, you just have to look. I live in Edmonton, Alberta which is a very uptight city. And we have pagans with celebrations
I'd love to attend one of the festivals in our state but they tend to be far away.
Pagans dress as varied as anyone else. If you saw me walking down the street you would never even think it, but then again for some of my friends people would say oh look a hippy chic she could be.
I really enjoyed this video, been pagan and wiccan for a number of years but have never attended an all out pagan sponsored event, really looking forward to one near me in May. And about her dress, she stated that they don't ALL wear black and aren't out to shock, it was obvious looking around that there weren't that many goths... the event was obviously for pagans and by pagans, so why not wear our own colorful day-to-day or usual dress-up outfits? Why must we have to prove ourselves to anyone?
I so wanted to be there! But i live in ohio, and i'm only a teenager so i'm looking for festivals and stuff like that (not covens) local so if anyone knows of any let me know. Anyway great job!
In reply to that, I would suggest that an individuals clothing choices are not necessarily in any way connected to their religious beliefs and practices.
I choose my clothing every morning, I practice my religious every day of my life, each action is completely independant of the other.
Blackangel dresses for the fest the way she dresses every time I see her--she is gorgeous and creative in her every day clothing, so why try to look "normal"? What is "normal"?
Awesome Work. I must commend you for the wonderful way you handled the documentation, the way that you treated it with reverence and did not sensationalize it. :)
When is the Next Pagan Pride Day?
and where is it being held in Hamilton?
Me and a friend are looking to come.
~thanks!

A very informative video in my opinion,

Go raibh maith agat.
It's funny hehe.
