I would think Skynet would start jamming shortwave (USAF HF) as fast as it took down digital satellites. Basically the best thing is to have Hardened computer systems (HERF/EMP) not attached to any networks (i.e. Battlestar Galatica). Then the only way to compromise the system is physical access. When someone has physical access to a system all bets with security are off. With Supercomputers Hitting past the PetaFlop marker it will only be a matter of writing the initial Code to start the AI.

Therefore, he would have never have got Sarah Connor pregnant which would mean that John Connor also would have ceased to exist.

Did the better quality clip with the longer ending get removed? Anyway, amazing ending. The rest of the movie was great, too, aside from some cheesy lines. The music here and John's speech are touching. Nick Stahl did a great job, too. John accepts his destiny and Judgement Day is inevitable. Very powerful. So it goes against the messages of the first two. Obviously, there was more going on than they were capable of stopping and even Sarah Connor could predict.

making movies/stories that fool around with time travel is pretty hard, since you have to make each movie correspond with each other in a way that it all comes together and makes sense. Looking at each movie, sure, it might not be as good as this movie or that movie. But I think the whole story is a masterpiece.

This is definitely one of my favorite endings to any film ever just the music and John's speech at the end gives such a great emotional punch of sadness and hope at the same time.
This is one of my favorite movie endings of all time. Even though the movie got some bad reviews from both critics and fans. The song "Radio" and John Connor's narration at the end was very beautiful. It had that human touch to it. It has that perfect combination of sadness and glory at the same time.

I like the way the writers had to have John Conner accept who he is and what was really going to happen. And I loved the part when John said, "I should have realized, our destiny was never to stop Judgment Day, it was merely to survive it. Together. The Terminator knew, he'd try to tell us. If skynet had no system core and it only existed in cyberspace, then by blowing up servers, power plants and computers it should have destroyed itself.
Redundancy ia key to the internet. Skynet would also have made sure that it would survive the attack by planting a copy ofitself in computers that woul nopt have been hit.

Has anybody besides me seen the scene where the nukes fly above the barns somewhere else?! It´s the same as in Smallville! When Lex Luthor has a dream you actually see the same scene. Even the scene when the nukes hit different parts of the earth is in Smallville.
I did not like t3 as much as T2 but the ending was really good and explained alot.
These are my own thoughts :
the more we delevop supercomputers , better processors , faster networking , internet , Nuclear weapons there is always the risk that this in some form could happen.
Its not as good as the 1st 2 , but really the 2nd one wasn't as good as the first one at all, I mean it was more exciting and flashier and quite good, but had sillyness and the whole liquid living metal thing was stupid in the first place, even if it looks cool and makes for good action. T1 was classic, great concept. But this isn't awful, it has a lot of stupid comedy moments that nearly ruin it, it has plot holes and illogical sequences, but its somewhat fun, I expect nothing better from T4.
This ending pissed me alot, Big Time!! The main people in the last 3 movies worked so hard to prevent the Judgement Day from happening and yet, they failed. So what's the freakin huge point of watching the last 3 movies if they failed to stop the JD? -_- lol, great film, btw.
The point of the first film was Skynet sent a T-800 to 1984 to kill Sarah Connor. By killing Sarah Connor it could prevent the birth of John Connor. That infiltrator failed thanks to the help of Kyle Reese. In the second film Skynet tried again. It sent the T-1000 advanced prototype. As a result Connor sent the reprogrammed T-800. Trying to stop J day was simply a second objective in the second film.
After watching TS, I appreciate T3 alot more, because TS wasn't that good. Loved it the first time but was bored shitless watching it the second time, so I don't like it that much.
I liked of T3, because they doeverthing to stop Judgment Day but the true is they nuver can stop that because something terrible like this have to happen for John Connor to acepted is destiny
As said before, this is the best scene in the movie.John finally accepts his destiny and leads the human race against the machines,
The film as a whole wasn't as bad as people made out although it wasn't up to the standard set by T1 and T2 but let's face it, it was an impossible task.

making movies/stories that fool around with time travel is pretty hard, since you have to make each movie correspond with each other in a way that it all comes together and makes sense. Looking at each movie, sure, it might not be as good as this movie or that movie. But I think the whole story is a masterpiece.

This is definitely one of my favorite endings to any film ever just the music and John's speech at the end gives such a great emotional punch of sadness and hope at the same time.

This is one of my favorite movie endings of all time. Even though the movie got some bad reviews from both critics and fans. The song "Radio" and John Connor's narration at the end was very beautiful. It had that human touch to it. It has that perfect combination of sadness and glory at the same time.

It's scary. The message of this movie is simple. You cannot program Human Response into a computer.
It's a scary thought and modern society hates facing The Truth! This movie isnt that implausible.

The human brain. by collecting all the data from every human species programmed into the computer, it will then evidently become dangerous... ever heard of the saying... two heads are better than one!? :)

@GuardianAngel5150 It got bad reviews because the story in it sucks, and it contradicts the meaning of the first two by saying Judgment Day is inevitable. It's just a rehash of the second one. But the action is great and it has some pretty funny scenes in it too. I didn't mind it. I just wish they would've had a better story for it to be built around.

I like the way the writers had to have John Conner accept who he is and what was really going to happen. And I loved the part when John said, "I should have realized, our destiny was never to stop Judgment Day, it was merely to survive it. Together. The Terminator knew, he'd try to tell us. But I didn't want to hear it.

Redundancy ia key to the internet. Skynet would also have made sure that it would survive the attack by planting a copy ofitself in computers that woul nopt have been hit.

Has anybody besides me seen the scene where the nukes fly above the barns somewhere else?! It´s the same as in Smallville! When Lex Luthor has a dream you actually see the same scene. Even the scene when the nukes hit different parts of the earth is in Smallville.

I did not like t3 as much as T2 but the ending was really good and explained alot.
These are my own thoughts :
the more we delevop supercomputers , better processors , faster networking , internet , Nuclear weapons there is always the risk that this in some form could happen.

Its not as good as the 1st 2 , but really the 2nd one wasn't as good as the first one at all, I mean it was more exciting and flashier and quite good, but had sillyness and the whole liquid living metal thing was stupid in the first place, even if it looks cool and makes for good action. T1 was classic, great concept. But this isn't awful, it has a lot of stupid comedy moments that nearly ruin it, it has plot holes and illogical sequences, but its somewhat fun, I expect nothing better from T4.

This ending pissed me alot, Big Time!! The main people in the last 3 movies worked so hard to prevent the Judgement Day from happening and yet, they failed. So what's the freakin huge point of watching the last 3 movies if they failed to stop the JD? -_- lol, great film, btw.

The point of the first film was Skynet sent a T-800 to 1984 to kill Sarah Connor. By killing Sarah Connor it could prevent the birth of John Connor. That infiltrator failed thanks to the help of Kyle Reese. In the second film Skynet tried again. It sent the T-1000 advanced prototype. As a result Connor sent the reprogrammed T-800. Trying to stop J day was simply a second objective in the second film.

As said before, this is the best scene in the movie.John finally accepts his destiny and leads the human race against the machines,
The film as a whole wasn't as bad as people made out although it wasn't up to the standard set by T1 and T2 but let's face it, it was an impossible task.
