  • One of the best Foreigner songs of all time.

  • I don't suppose anyone has any info on the artist or the artwork on the far left (the one shown at 1:12 and 2:30). I would love to get a recreation of it.

  • Still my fav song by this band.

  • 1000 Grammys to Lou Gramm! His voice, his heart and his look were so damnly gorgeous!

  • yeah i know that criticise their look is not very fair... It's always easier to came 30 years later ...and to comment on it... the most important is the music... and i found this album is impressive...all those songs had the potential of hit singles... it's rare 2 see this in an album... but well i still better like what Mick Jones was doin' with Johnny Hallyday and Spooky Tooth... i think that it was more adventurous music...they were more explorators back in the very old days than in the 80s

  • beautiful voice does not have to do.

    he's just beautiful.

  • I've always like their music.I haven't heard their songs on the radio in a while

    and I really miss it.

  • This song is just great! =)

  • Who cares what their look was.....I dont care about music critics either, I know this ROCKS and Lou Gramm is the MAN,

  • REAL Music

  • their look is really un-cool... really those guys looks much better in some 1978 photos... usually i can go beyond some 80s weird bad tasty fashion... but just imagine this band with this 80s fashion walking togethe in NYC -Los Angeles- London streets ..and beyond... people will discreetly laugh...

musically it's ok but i still found Spooky Tooth superior, surely more humble and more connected to the seeds of rock music...

Another decade is another spirit ...

  • *verneigt sich*

  • You said it!!! @ealma64 he's so handsome and sexy here too.

  • It did seem a smidge fast, but w Lou in his prime, Mick on guitar and the Golden eared Mutt Lang behind you there is no way you can lose. Everything Mutt touched turned to gold. Just Like everything Lou sang that was well written. Highly underrated song.. Fuckin Awesome!

  • No Mick Jones is not Lou Gramm's dad. Mick Jones is from England and Lou Gramm was in Rochester, New York.

  • The guy playing the guitar in the band Foreigner in the 70's and 80's was the oldest of the band. Now Lou Gramm looks just like him at 60. I keep wondering, "what that his dad?"

  • I love every song this band ever did.But this seems specialy well done.

  • the bolloks great!!!!!!!

  • What kind of guitar is playing Mick jones?

  • voor,jou,en,my,lets,live,in,freedom,togheter,or,alone,don,t,know,can,t,concentrate,mentally,nervous,breakdown,he,pause

  • One thing what I find interesting is that this song and "Juke Box Hero" both charted at #26 in early 1982 yet you still hear "Juke Box Hero" getting constant rotation on FM radio all the time and you hardly hear this song being played on FM radio, this song IMO should have made the Top 10, I like how this song has that ballad/rocker hybrid

  • What an amaaaazing voice.

  • Just Class!

  • my first album ilove it

  • Best song off the 4 album. Underrated song, got it's share of radio airplay 30 years ago but never made it to timeless status.

  • Does he sing ihigher in live? waouw!

  • Always actually liked this one more than Waiting For a Girl Like You. Wasn't nearly as big a hit, though....................go figure.

  • simply the Best

  • Best Foreigner track!

  • OMFG thank you, thank you, luv this song!!!:-D

  • U fkn rock dude

  • this is slightly the wrong speed..a cunt hair too fast

  • @mjw9363 No this version is awesome.. and if you hear closely he singed this higher!

  • One of the best 80's songs ever!

  • Oh Lou gets the props he deserves...he is always in the top of polls of greatest voices in rock history...and this one of the largest selling and best rock albums of all times...Foreigner 4

  • The best all time album ever. I was only 13 when I heard lou's voice it reached out of the radio and grab me and I have had a love affair with Lou's voice or 30 plus years. He is all time greatest. Old Foreigner amazing and out of this world. Too bad the are not gonna be inducted in the rock and roll hall of fame They deserve it the best writing duo ever or ever will be.

  • 8 people better make it up tonight

  • LOU GRAMM, YOU ARE AN AWESOME SINGER!!!!

  • I LOVE OLD FOREIGNER THIS STUFF ROCKS <3

  • This is the best Foreigner Song!!!!

  • THIS FUCKING ROCKS

  • @mjw9363 Jorn isn't from brazil brah.

  • @Fozzy911 well he's some sort of "Foreigner"....my dog started howling he was so off key.....he stinks

  • @Fozzy911 almost as bad..he shows the reason they just can't get the art form of American rock in Norway and the Netherlands...ugghhh that was awful...and every comment on his video agrees.....basically it's the USA and the UK who do it right...."lost in translation I guess"

  • @eduardonioo STINKS...like every comment on the video of Jorne...God Damn you all have such a bad ear over there

  • Comment removed

  • This is from a German Television Music Show called "Bananas".

  • @schwoissfuass Good name for it....music and pop culture is a joke in Germany....sorry Dude...ONE good band since rock was born,..The Scorpions...

  • @schwoissfuass Does it have a peel?

  • Remember hearing this song on America's Top 40 back in the summer of '82.

    Those were the days, kids.

Not perfect, not without pain, but still civil and human and hopeful.

Those days are gone forever :o(

  • the guy i work with cant stand foreigner i just dont understand him this band kicks ass

  • Love Love Love this! Ahhhhhhh memories......God I miss real rock with real singers and real lyrics.....

  • Good on ya for uploading this classic track..awesome song eh?Thanks Fritz51318

  • Love this song....You can really feel the emotion when Lou Gramm screams out a note....awesome!

  • Lou has some far out pipes! Very strong. Not to mention he looks good in those jeans!

  • Great Band in 1982 , but later they decided to be more Commercial, i think that was a big Mistake

  • OMG THOSE JEANS! I'M IN LOVE!*******

  • Imagine blood-horses at a gallop !

  • great singer

  • love it!

  • I grew up listening to Foreigner and never saw this video. I love it. Lou Gramm is awesome here and quite handsome...love the tight jeans.

  • i never understood why this song wasn't a huge hit compared to the other singles put out from this lp

  • Great drum sound too.

  • Such a great song still.

  • Still good in 2011!!!

  • This song is from '81..not '82...from the 1981 album "Foreigner 4"

  • If there is one rock vocalist who never got the props he deserved, it was Lou Gramm.

  • @bigchickenfu You got that Right! Lou Gramm is The Best! Always has been and will be, He is the Voice of Rock!

  • @bigchickenfu How didn't he get props?

  • OmG, what a Great Voice.....

  • Damn I miss this song on 8 track. How bout a non cut off version tho ?

  • I love this song.. Jorn coverd this so good!

  • They are absolutely underrated. Songs as good as this should be the hits on the radio today, not these no talent auto-tuning "bands" that are popular now.

  • The best song of the 4 album !

  • I locked myself away. 1982.Unbelievable Voice,acting,everything.Great.From Manila witt love to Lou Gramm Vadim Proskurnya/Russian

  • hey, the video runs faster than the normal speed!!!

    great song anyways!!!

  • Love how they throw in the girl in the pic and got away with the exposed tit. Try that in a video today...people would have a cow.

  • hihi as teenies we danced to this music in the disco.

  • this performance put kelly hansen to shame!!!!!!!!!

  • this performant put kelly hansen to shame!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • not lou gramm it will be the new singer ,kelly hansen , he should join alice cooper tribute band , because he cant replace lou

  • @MrMigutie - nobody could replace Lou Gramm's so magic voice !

  • They're coming to my city in about two weeks!!.. :D

  • this video needs to be slowed down to the correct speed and pitch. This is a little fast. Otherwisw an awesome song and band!

  • Just listen to lou's voice its perfect for every song they make

  • 6 People Are In a Bad Relationship

  • Foreigner is simply Excellent! They are elite!

  • "What's wrong with me, how could I be so blind..." You're not, you're just a guy, that has the most Awesome voice EVER! Lou Gramm the Man.

  • Lou Lou Gramm :-)

  • @Docadolf I can't believe you said that..i've seen them over 15 times and he not only sounded great he stays in the original key. He either had an off night, or was near sick or sick.

  • these music is like wine, just gets better with age

  • wow! first time hearing .. loving it.. i love the composition of this song.. the divergent bass line, the excellent drums.. the chorus solves a little predictable and charactristic of the time period.. but in some ways this song is way ahead of its time. This song in my opinion with minor, MINOR tweaks could make it today.

  • Foreigner play "live" in Bananas! ;-)) Great show, great music at this time!

  • 0:54 real boob tehehe

  • Underrated band, Underrated guitarist, Underrated vocalist & Underrated song. Foreigner never really got the respect they truly deserved but they could still play, write & sing with the best of them.

  • Comment removed

  • i didnt know Foreigner even had promo videos until Provocateur...and what's with the banana...hmm...anyway, great band, this is one of their most overlooked

  • אחת הלהקות הטובות בעולם

  • I love it!. Lou forever!

  • boys from yugoslavia loves you.........forever

  • The guy definitely has a set of pipes!!

  • if god had made to hear its voice, he would have had that of lou gramm

  • What a voice! Lou Gramm has to be the most underrated rock vocalist maybe of all time.

  • @jgperry99 I cannot agree with you more. He can sing anything. I wish I could be taught by him.

  • @jgperry99 absolutely agree with you - Lou Gramm's so magic voice is still considered as one of the best since 30 years - he is a great pop-rock icon !!!

  • What a voice! Lou Gramm has to be the most underrated rock vocalist maybe of all time.

  • to Robin Spence100 on YT. this song says it all.

WHY WHY WHY ?. could we atleast talked about it. if everyone kept finding flaws in everyone they met, there wouldn't be any love at all.

we all have our dark moments in life. none of which, no one like to relive.

yes, it got me good. but, i'm willing to fight for you no matter what.

all i'm asking you is for another chance.

  • Awesome song! Love that blue jean look, This album reminds me of winters in Chicago

  • Lou Gramm is the most under rated singer in thre rock n roll era

  • lou is the bolloks ! what a voice eh .vamos los mejores foreigner

  • This song has so much passion and emotion. It is what great music should be about.

Not like the hip-hop, auto-tuned, bubble-gum crap of today!

  • @Slave2Reason

    You said it.

  • @Slave2Reason Amen!! exactly

  • Estimated friend, if you want to listen again to this song and an endless number of successes of the love I suggest you to visit Radio MUSICA PARA MIMOS - it looks for his direction URL for Google (scribe Musica para Mimos in Google)-. The best romantic music of all the times in Internet, is going to please you, is very good ...!!!

  • OH MY........LOU'S VOICE IS PURE MAGIC........SO BEAUTIFUL........I have never and will never get tired of hearing him sing.........ALL of FOREIGNER'S VERY BEST,ARE THE HITS THEY ARE TODAY BECAUSE LOU GRAMM SANG THEM FIRST!!!!!!!

  • I forgot all about this song,wow.

  • I believe Foreigner is one of the all time best Rock bands. Not often you can buy a album where every song is excellent. They do this with every album.

  • @brian6078 I agree. Every Album I own from Foreigner I love. I'm fairly certain that I love all their songs. I don't think I can say that about any other band, except maybe my Beach Boys, because I gotta love that good ol' surf music. But no other band (for me) has that many GREAT songs.

  • @B1GJOE - we are so alike!;I have almost every Beach Boy's album there is!!haha

  • @B1GJOE They are terribly underrated as a band in my book..... Lou Gramm/Mick jones 4ever....

  • @kingpin6172 This song was one of my favorite Foreigner hits as Lou rocks in this song! He hits every note- unlike the wanna-be's of today with their digital assistance. This kid can flat out sing. WOW! Lou is simply the best. Just listen to him! Rock on Lou forever. Even today, you are doing your thing.

  • @kingpin6172 What the hell are you talking about. Back in the day Foreigner was one of the most listened to bands in the whole country. Me and my brother still rock this stuff when we go places

  • @kingpin6172 you are not giving them enough credit by saying they are terribly underrated. They just may be the best ever.

  • Trusted name on Asian women marriage lushfmlk.info

  • i can i love her i thing i am going to breking up i thing the beatals got the ans- - r

  • Love the "Albuquerque Youth Soccer" Shirt.

  • Foreigner 4 is a great album. The album that really sold me as a huge fan!

  • @seandeyoung01 Too bad it was the beginning of the end. Mick Jones took them in a different direction after this album but it's a great album.

  • always considered one of the best rock voices in rock history....

  • Those haircuts....I seen them somewhere? Oh yeah on the one dollar bills

  • i helped write this song back in 81

  • @captaindodginski And how do you expect anyone to believe this?

  • That's a live version, for sure, the CD version is slower and doesn't have that much energy, AMAZING live band!

  • These people were real musicians nothing compares to any of the artists of this era. I think Lady Gaga is trying to be a modern real musician.

  • These people were real musicians nothing compares to any of the artists of this era.

  • I wore the grooves out on this lp. Foreigner was my favorite band for years growing up. Still love their music and Lou Gramm had one of the best voices in rock history. Period. The tribute band that calls themself Foreigner is just not right, shame on Mick Jones. I would love to see a true reunion with the original members, ALL 6 of them. What a treat that would be! A guy can dream.

  • @slurve41

I wore out my albums too! Last year Lou Gramm came to my city. He signed my Double Vision album, the only item he signed that night and I had my picture taken with him too. It was awesome!!

  • @MarleneMc63 Lucky you!! That's awesome :)

  • Amazing...is it so hard to make music that sounds good these days? Foreigner and other bands of the era are just so appealing to my ears compared to the mainstream scene today.

  • LOU should be happy to receive money of the profits of the new Foreigner most of the Hits songs was writen by Lou and Jones .

I'm happy for him. Foreigner ON!!!!

  • Man, I love Foreigner, and Lou Gramm is awesome. I just wish there was still music like this being produced.

  • Always liked this song.I wonder why they never play it live.It was a hit.4 is a great album.

  • 6 disliikes,i guess are biebedr fans

  • They film this in an art museum?

  • I forgot all about this song until I came across it here - shame on me! What a great tune & of course, Lou Gramm's vocals are legendary. He sounds like he's at the top of his game. I should try to find out what album this is from.

  • That has to be the ugliest double-neck guitar in history.

  • love the "Albuquerque youthe socer" shirt

  • It's not Dominic Allen!!! It's Lou Gramm, genius! THE singer of Foreigner.

  • this song brings back so many memories!!!

  • LOU GRAMM is FOREIGNER!!!

  • Lou Gramm is the most underrated rock vocalist from the 70's 80's era. He blew everyone away IMO

  • @MarleneMc63 You got that right.

  • You actually see a breast in this video...must have been shown in Britain ONLY. lol.

  • just out of curiousity, is the singer they first zoom up on Dominic Allen? Because he looks way different nowadays.

  • @THEdaleama i would like to know too. just out of curiosity when did Dominic Allen sing with these guys?
