I don't suppose anyone has any info on the artist or the artwork on the far left (the one shown at 1:12 and 2:30). I would love to get a recreation of it.
yeah i know that criticise their look is not very fair... It's always easier to came 30 years later ...and to comment on it... the most important is the music... and i found this album is impressive...all those songs had the potential of hit singles... it's rare 2 see this in an album... but well i still better like what Mick Jones was doin' with Johnny Hallyday and Spooky Tooth... i think that it was more adventurous music...they were more explorators back in the very old days than in the 80s
their look is really un-cool... really those guys looks much better in some 1978 photos... usually i can go beyond some 80s weird bad tasty fashion... but just imagine this band with this 80s fashion walking togethe in NYC -Los Angeles- London streets ..and beyond... people will discreetly laugh...
musically it's ok but i still found Spooky Tooth superior, surely more humble and more connected to the seeds of rock music...
@BohemianConspiracy I also liked the earlier Foreigner photos from 1977-78 the best myself, especially Lou Gramm's hairstyle of that era, I thought Dennis Elliott looked somewhat like a clean version of Alice Cooper in the 1977-78 photos
It did seem a smidge fast, but w Lou in his prime, Mick on guitar and the Golden eared Mutt Lang behind you there is no way you can lose. Everything Mutt touched turned to gold. Just Like everything Lou sang that was well written. Highly underrated song.. Fuckin Awesome!
The guy playing the guitar in the band Foreigner in the 70's and 80's was the oldest of the band. Now Lou Gramm looks just like him at 60. I keep wondering, "what that his dad?"
One thing what I find interesting is that this song and "Juke Box Hero" both charted at #26 in early 1982 yet you still hear "Juke Box Hero" getting constant rotation on FM radio all the time and you hardly hear this song being played on FM radio, this song IMO should have made the Top 10, I like how this song has that ballad/rocker hybrid
Oh Lou gets the props he deserves...he is always in the top of polls of greatest voices in rock history...and this one of the largest selling and best rock albums of all times...Foreigner 4
The best all time album ever. I was only 13 when I heard lou's voice it reached out of the radio and grab me and I have had a love affair with Lou's voice or 30 plus years. He is all time greatest. Old Foreigner amazing and out of this world. Too bad the are not gonna be inducted in the rock and roll hall of fame They deserve it the best writing duo ever or ever will be.
This whole album was a melodic masterpiece with the production, layered intrumentals , vocals and the lyrics content created haunting images of each piece - a true AOR masterpiece!
Can't believe it's 30 years since it was released...missing those times tremendously...

They are absolutely underrated. Songs as good as this should be the hits on the radio today, not these no talent auto-tuning "bands" that are popular now.
@Docadolf I can't believe you said that..i've seen them over 15 times and he not only sounded great he stays in the original key. He either had an off night, or was near sick or sick.
wow! first time hearing .. loving it.. i love the composition of this song.. the divergent bass line, the excellent drums.. the chorus solves a little predictable and charactristic of the time period.. but in some ways this song is way ahead of its time. This song in my opinion with minor, MINOR tweaks could make it today.
Underrated band, Underrated guitarist, Underrated vocalist & Underrated song. Foreigner never really got the respect they truly deserved but they could still play, write & sing with the best of them.
i didnt know Foreigner even had promo videos until Provocateur...and what's with the banana...hmm...anyway, great band, this is one of their most overlooked

@kingpin6172 This song was one of my favorite Foreigner hits as Lou rocks in this song! He hits every note- unlike the wanna-be's of today with their digital assistance. This kid can flat out sing. I forgot all about this song until I came across it here - shame on me! What a great tune & of course, Lou Gramm's vocals are legendary. He sounds like he's at the top of his game. I should try to find out what album this is from.

Lou Gramm is the most underrated rock vocalist from the 70's 80's era. He blew everyone away IMO
