Benifit of KORG nanopad is that you can map serato fuctions and keep it within easy reach for convenience and speed. But with DJM800, you can also map midi fucntions so you can pretty much do the same from DJM800. I use and prefer the nanopad because sometimes I have to use a mixer that isn't DJM-800 or SL57, so with nanopad, I can still have midi control.
