When I first saw that there was a New Version Out I got all Exited because I thought if this was Cool then this is going to be Supper Awesome with Today's 2011 Technology, but it turned out to be a Simple Left to Right Mario Style Game when it was a Forward Open World Game First Person Style as we see here. What happened to it!?!?!?

Olá, amiga. Este eu consegui através do ebay há uns anos atrás. Acho que no Mercado Livre você poderá encontrá-lo também. Em lojas vai ser muito difícil, pois este é um dos primeiro games lançados para PS2.

@samyserra This game is very old. I dont think you can buy the game, this kinda reminds me of my childhood haha. But i saw in the psn that you can download it. So if you have like a ps3. or A 3d ds has a remake called rayman 3d. Otherwise i dunno

I have a PS3 and until now you can download on PSN only the Psone version of this game that graphically is the weakest of all. If you haven´t noticed, the version played in my video is the Playstation 2 version which is much more beautiful than the Psone version.

The vast majority of the game is Rayman 2: The Great Escape. However, Rayman Revolution has more stages and more powerups compared to other versions: PC, N64, PS1 and Dreamcast. It is the best version because it is the most complete. More one thing: Graphically, this PlayStation 2 version is superior to PC, PS1 and N64.

Rayman 2: Revolution and Rayman 2: The Great Escape are the same games. Except Revolution is the UK version, i think.

Revolution is the PS2 remake. The Great Escape is for the original Playstation and some other consoles.

This is my favorite version of Rayman 2, I love that you can walk in a open map, more adventures, extended stages, better dialoge, lots of minigames. Definely this version is the best one. I got sad when Ubisoft didnt port this one on the 3ds, I wonder why.

@19BeNDeR90 It's kinda a remake, but with improved graphics (e.g. butterflies and mushrooms at the end of the first level, higher view distance in the background, ...), English voice acting (instead of gibberish) and some levels are designed a little different or ordered different. It also has a main level hub to share different levels, instead of a world map with lines and dots (Hall of Doors). Lastly, Rayman has some neat power-ups not available before, and there are also some mini-games.

Not really, it's not gibberish with a french accent anymore, it's full realy voice acting, and in English (and in other languaged in other versions), but it seems to be the same voice actors for Rayman and his friend Globox at least.

as long as you own the game, then yes.

More or less yeah. You can search PCSX2 the PS2 emulator which is REALLY good...but considering you have AT LEAST a powerful dual core and an 8-series Nvidia card or an ATI equivalent, otherwise forget it.

You could always emulate the Nintendo 64 version which is very easy to emulate or otherwise the Dreamcast version which is exactly the same as the PS2 version graphically except for the different "voice acting".

The PS1 version is great, but this PS2 version has more levels, powerups and, of course, better graphics.

Well yeah, more levels and the pretty big leap on graphics.

Also consider the PS1 version is the worst looking of them all, originally it was the Nintendo 64 (the first version released) and the PC versions the best looking ones but then came out the Dreamcast version which looked ten times better and ran at a faster framerate.

But the PS2 version looks slightly cleaner so it's even better.
