Jeremy Sisto is SO good in this movie. It's kind of a shame they didn't make the film the way the book is written, but Regina is a little girl in the book and they couldn't do the whole teenage-attraction thing. Anyways, DAMN Jeremy Sisto looks good here.
"Do you have any FUCKING IDEA?!?! Do you know what he does to these girls? Do you know what you're playing around with? Hmm? You know what he does to his victims? He butchers thum, slaughters thum, Do you hear me??" Lol best acting ever :P
Jeremy Sisto and Alicia Silverstone were also working together in the movie Clueless. It's funny to see when two acters have been in the same movies several times together.
hahaha....jeremy sisto is my uncle. And yeah he was in the twisted sisters video. I got a pictureof me and my brother with him on my facebook if you don't believe. Look me up - Jonathan Michael Brackney Jr.
@JonnyBrackney I did, but I didn't see any picture. If it's true (and don't blame me for doubting you- this is the internet, after all) that is very cool!
In the book, Hatch & Lindsey had a son who died, not a daughter. Regina is 10 years-old and physically handicapped, but very smart. And Vassago - Jeremy Nyebern kills lots more people. Also in the book at the end, Vassago is bludgeoned to death with a crucifix, not blown away with a 12 gauge. The name Vassago is one of the nine crown princes of Hell in demonology and Hatch Harrison is Uriel - a Angel.
Im a Dean Koontz fan myself, I read both Phantoms and Hideaway. The book is different from the movie, Dean Koontz was very disappointed about the film. He even made the producers remove his name from the titles. I myself liked the book more, but I think that Jeremy Sisto was perfect for the roll of Vassago, and he was as I imagined him from the novel. Jeff Goldblum was also a good casting choice. There are elements that I like from both the novel and the film.
i feel like Jeremy Sisto often gets typecast as either really creepy stalker characters or cop-like characters. Something to be said about that. Nevertheless, the man is gorgeous.
well, thats what it says in his bio/filmography. check it in imdb. well, actually it said he was in the video, and i assumed that would have to have been the role cause i only remember the kid, the dad, and the band in it.
okay, i looked back at the video and then is imdb page. so there was more than one kid in the video; hes one of them but i don't know which, imdb, just said he 'appears' in it.
He looks ok, I guess. Can't say a lot about his character in the movie since I didn't see it yet. But unlike Regina he at least LOOKS like his character might be similar to the original.
hmph book was better...this shouldnt have had the characters from the book or called hideway...it puts it to shame and destroys the book :( but hey by itself its ok...
I love in the book when Regina is meeting the couple for the first time and she's on about the caterpillar shitting on the mayonaise and she keeps dragging her deformed foot to try and put them off adopting her!!!! Class!!!!!
hahah, bobett, i watch this movie all the time, too. just for jeremy sisto. hahaah, i agree. SOOOOO hot in this movie. so badass and crazy, and satan-worshipping... but SO hot!
I used to watch it so many times because of jeremy. I would like to again if they just show his parts only because the other peeps just get on my nerves! My family actually thought I was getting too addicted to this movie because of the killing but it was actually Jeremy. : Man he really is/was hot as goth.
Underrated? This movie was terrible! The gave a semi-major role to a character that didn't even exist in the book, Regina was absolutely nothing like she was supposed to be (appearance-wise, age-wise, behavior-wise, and physically), and they left out all the good scenes. I wouldn't even think of calling this a horror movie. The only positive point was that Jeremy actually looked like he was supposed to.
Uh... great movie. I don't know about the book, nor do I care. Movies RARELY follow books well, and I'm not surprised this one didn't. BUT as a movie in itself, I thought it was great. It is, however, always terribly disappointing when your favorite book gets chopped on the screen. So my condolences.
is this film good because i love jeremy sisto AND dean koontz novels and i thought, wow, can this get any better? but then dean koontz hated it so much he wanted his name out of the credits. so, is a good film?
Its a VERY good film, but completely different from the book. That's why Mr. Koontz wanted his name removed fromt he credits. As far as he was concerned, it was something else entirely.
Omgah. jeremy sisto is SO hott in this movie. My mom thinks I'm gonna turn into a crazy satanist because i watch this movie like, every day. x] But yeah. i'm gonna get the book today sometime. Hopefully, it will be great. :]
i'm watching it right now. i'm at the part where hatch and vasago/jeremy meet. inteeeense. it's so weird how jeremy sisto and alicia silverstone worked together in this movie and clueless. ironic.
i hear ya. i kept rewinding the shower scene. i wish he did more roles like this. the way he looks in this movie reminds a little of what he look like in ''MAY''.

this was Jeremy Sisto's first major role in a movie. then he went on to biger and better things such as billy in six feet under. he now plays a detective in law and order which just started about 4 or 5 episodes ago.
Thanks for the information on Jeremy Sisto, ethericempyrean. He's one of my fave actors. I noticed this is his 2nd movie with Alicia Silverstone. His psycho killer role is much more interesting than Elton in Clueless!
i got bored and watched this on demand just because it had jeff goldblum in it. i was afraid it would be awful and it really should have been but by some bizarre feat of impossibility i thought it was brilliant. except for the ending with the angels and demons. that was like a bad anime.. esp with the old school CGI lol

The book is awesome, but the movie must be so stupid compared to it.
In the book Regina is a 10 year old physically slightly disabled girl, but incredibly smart, so vital, loving and caring.
And in the movie she is a typical teenager.
No wonder even Dean Koontz hates the movie.
Anyway, the video you made is pretty good though!
