Actually 2scion is right, she is Hmong, her mom is Thai and they came from Laos (well her grandparents did I think). If you've ever watched the Disney channel interview about her movie, you'd know. She said it with her own mouth. Most people think she's Korean because of her name but it's probably pronounce the same and accidently spelled Song the Korean way when it should've been spelled another way.
