  • My whole family still cries every time we watch this movie. Definitely inspiring! Kirk, if you're out there, please, please read John Revere's "Rescued" and make a movie out of it! You would be fabulous as the son! That would honestly be a movie that could majorly impact this world! That book changed my life!

  • GAY.

  • "Major hollywood productions"? Really? Are we talking about the same guy? Loony Ray Comfort's sidekick? Wow, he's really going places, that Kirk. He's moved up to after school specials after only 40 years in the business.

  • The movie and the book are both amazing testimonies to what God can do in any marriage. Why would any christian choose divorce knowing what God can do. Amen and thank you for sharing..

  • "i knew that this movie would deeply touch people.." nah.. it slapped me right at the kisser. hahahahahah!!! i realy love the movie. just have to cry almost all throught the movie. HAHAHAHAHHA!!! never gets old!

  • I got 6 in speaking test because of this movie.

    Give Thanks to God.

  • Esta esta misma entrevista en Español???

    Estupenda pelicula.

  • sin duda la mejor película q e visto.. me encanta, es hermosa

  • I like you!!!!!!

  • Kirk Cameron's head is full of sample sized candy treats. Those little Snickers, 3 Musketeers, Hersey Kisses, etc.. Also loose M&Ms and Candy Corn.

  • @Spartacus217

    Indeed!

  • Thanks Very Much Kirk Cameron To Send Me This Clips Of The 700 Club And Al the Christians Video Clips That You Been Sending Me God Bless You Amen

  • Kirk Cameron's performance WAS believable, memorable, and inspiring! Well done!

  • so cute love it helps me not mess so my marriage can be pure thanx

  • Sad...if they'd have used a bit of subtlety and addressed more of the wife's shortcomings, rather than unwittingly justifying her potentially adulterous behavior because of her husband's selfishness, this COULD have been a decent movie. Oh well...now it's just a "love it or hate it" movie.

  • @adtmatt Though her potential adultery would not be justified, it could be explained by his lack of interest and attraction towards her and seeking it somewhere else, particularly online through pornography.

A woman just needs love, they were created to receive love. If they do not get it from their husband, they will seek it somewhere else.

I would blame the husband in this situation, and even say it was his lack of loving her that almost led her to adultery.

  • Yeah, making lame movies.

  • I love you Kirk. Keep doing what your doing.

  • I think he is doing a great thing. Praise God.

  • omg guys! why the heck are you all against christinanity, kirk cameron, sherwood movies, it just doesnt make sence!

  • Christianity teaches bigotry. It teaches members of the group to mistreat

nonmembers and is no different than any

other tribal identity. Tribalism creates an

us/them mentality and creates a self

righteous ends justify the means mentality. Why not include the whole

    world in your tribe?

  • And yet the rest of the world get down on us for trying to convert our friends and family. If you think we're a tribe this simply means you need to get a better understanding of christians. You don't know, there fore you have no right to judge.

  • Love is blind. Group love is blind. Kirk talks about the warm group feeling on the set which is experiencing the warm fuzzy group oneness and unity feeling which includes God as part of the groups identity. Their god is the group identity. This is simply the experience of tribalism which is an innate human need. Tribalism has been a very important part of human survival in early human societies as groupness is our most important survival tool.
  • Fairytales

  • Religion is a fairytale and its practice is a cult.

  • how do you know that? do you have the proof?

  • lajorn, do you need proof that Bigfoot is not real? Do you need proof that the tooth-fairy is not real? No, you don't. You have to provide proof that god is real, otherwise he is just like Bigfoot: unproven.

Prove that Jesus is imaginary in less than 5 minutes:

    watch?v=HUj8hg5CoSw

  • so what's your reason for being in this world right now and your reason for people disappearing (dieing) at a point in their lives? Where do they go?

The proof is right in front of you but it's your choice to examin it. You have nothing ligit to say until you have.

  • OriginalChanelle, there may be a creator, but you have zero evidence that the creator is your personal god. When I compare the bible to the wonders of the universe they do not compare they cannot come from the same maker.

What is your reason? If you are a believer then your reason is to worship and serve your god as a slave, period. I am free to chose my own purpose which is to be a contributing member of society.

How do we know that Christians are delusional?

    watch?v=HVuw1wEuaAQ

  • Each christian has a personal reason for serving God. We're not blind or delusional. We've simply admitted that we can't live in this broken world without a saviour. My reason is, it's what's given me freedom. Freedom from having to fit in to the rest of the world to be accepted, freedom from being alone. Freedom to not run from my problems but accept God as the solution. You say you are free to choose your own purpose. What is your purpose and how would you know when you've found it?

  • OriginalChanelle, you think you have a personal relationship with the creator of the universe and that he/she answers your prayers. That is delusional.

    watch?v=vkXOwBIRX7Y

  • And it's also delusional when I get my prayers answerd. Not to mention the times when others would feel like their world is coming to an end for things like relationships and hurt in the world where people are making their "Gods" drugs, drinking and throwing up in a toilet that I get to feel secure, loved, beautiful and like my life is only beginning because it doesn't end in the grave. But God loves YOU so much that he's given YOU freedom to CHOOSE if you want a relationship with him or not ;)

  • OriginalChanelle, yes, if you think your prayers are being answered then you are delusional.

  • You know what dude, I'm not going to fight you. If I'm delusional then I call this "delusion" a pretty sweet life. God is good. Nice talking to you :)

  • @OriginalChanelle Nobody asked.

  • OriginalChanelle, does a computer live on after you turn it off? Does a bird live on after it dies? Does a fly? Where were you before you were born? Death is the end, there is on evidence otherwise.

Religion is a fairytale and its practice is a cult.

  • since you're talking of evidence, where is your evidence that death is the end?

  • jake18, I am not making a claim, I so I don't need evidence. It is believers that are making the claim that there is life after death. They must show evidence to back up that claim.

  • @ndyt, You know, everyone has a right to their own opinion, but you shouldn't behave like this. There's no proof either way of an existence after one's life on the earth ends. That doesn't necessarily prove you right. Just because you don't believe God speaks to others, doesn't make you correct. On your page, you said that the bible doesn't hold a candle to creation. That's not a problem. God made people and the bible. Also, your last line on this comment, not only is it a claim,

  • @ndyt but it contradicts what you said in your profile. This is simply people who believe in God and do what they think they should. So, apparently, you do have a problem with God-believers.

  • This movie would have been more believable if Kirk's character was married to a guy with a moustache, who really liked bananas.

  • HardforJesus...I like you.

  • Is this Kirk Cameron? (crosses fingers. cums in pants.)

  • Cameron is part of a conservative Christian juggernaut to mislead children about evolutionary theory and just about anything else that threatens the power of the church. This film is a craftily shrouded Christian recruitment tool. Conservative groups are becoming very effective at marketing their message concealed in wholesome 'morality' films, but their ultimate intent is to convince the public that the only way to a moral existence is through the Christian church. This is patently false.

  • big words make you look dumb.

  • I hope you're not serious.

  • i am. dont like it too bad you cant change it.

  • My point is made.

  • your point dont count!

  • Did you ever thought that there is NO morality could be survived without God and faith? I lived in Russia and for 70 years they tried to produce MORALITY without GOD....without religion and faith. And what results??? Devorce rate grew dramaticaly, abortion rate grew like crazy, and all kind of moral degradation was so evident in the end of this 70 years...

  • So, the same results are evident in USA or any other country that got into modernistic and now postmodernistic philisophy.... no god - no morals! Conservative or fundamental Christians want to bring true message about goodness of marriage, about something that now most people lost.

  • Morality and religion are not inseparable. Your Soviet example involved many more variables. Divorce rates in the U.S. for Christians and non-Christians are roughly the same. Atheists make up 14% of the general population but only 1% of the prison population. The Christian prison population is the same as the percentage in the general population. That suggests morality problems among the religious, but that's misleading as well. These problems are more complex than God or no God.

  • I was talking about Consetvative Christians, not some kind of grandchildren of christians. Christian can not be in prison for sins. If you want to compare compare USA devorce rate 100 years ago. What happened since 100 years ago? Religion was pushed away, so even some people proffesed they believe in god, in reality it is not faith.... better they would not confess anything. By the way how much presentage of the Fundamental Baptist or even Mennonites are in prison or devorsed?

  • Good for the Mennonites an the Fundamental Baptists. Good as well for Einstein, Edison and dozens of other scientists who don't misbehave, either. It's never as simple as God or no God. America IS materialistic, and we HAVE shifted emphasis from family and more important things. But that move has been orchestrated by by corporate initiatives at MTV, VH1, Viacom, Pepsi, and a host of other profit machines, and if you take a look at their religious affiliations, they're as Christian as ever.

  • I agree that MTV and Pepsi is not christians. But they use ANYthing to make money or promote something of theirs.... If i would make a film i would never affiliate with anything that use christian names to make money. True serious christians stay away from any affilations.

  • Another think you mention is Edison or Einstein... and your argument is that thus there is some non religious people could be good, then morals could be without god or faith. Well, please consider that Einstein was not atheist, in his autobiographi he high valued Jesus Christ and he confessed that he acknoledge God. Also he rebuked and made fun of astrology but defend bible in private discussions. Also, he was from Jewish family and so values already is imparted when he was young.

  • Einstein's concept of God was nothing like the Christian idea of God. He saw God as part of the cosmos and not a personal savior to mankind. The Bible has great passages for values and morality, but the Baghavad Gita and the Dammapada have superb guidance for all of us to follow as well. In truth, we have acquired the concept of cooperation and morality through evolution. Religion is a product of cultural and biological evolution and probably served to organize earlier societies.

  • Einstein wasn't a follower of Christ?! What was he? Retarded?!!!!

  • I think you're an atheist plant. That's OK, though. Funny.

  • I'm not as much an atheist as I am someone who doesn't believe in God. You know what I'm saying?

  • I would like to stress that atheists or even agnostics can follow good morals only up to 1-2 generations FROM their believer parents. So again the reason WHY aitheists in USA still follow moral rules is that their parents or grandparents imparted to them something from the Law of God. They follow it without knowing the Law Giver. But eventually morals will go away in next generations. When there is NO absolute, then people decide for themselves what is good or wrong and this self destroying,

  • I think you're still oversimplifying things so that you can see everything in a dualistic 'them and us' or 'God-fearing or godless' manner. I know and admire many people who are stellar examples of compassion and good will who've never been a part of the Christian faith. They have excellent values with no religious strings attached. Believe me, I understand your feelings, but I just don't think religion is an absolute requirement for people to live meaningful lives. Some need it. Some don't.

  • " I give you a new commandment: love one another. As I have loved you, so you also should love one another. This is how all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." John 14,34-35 How did he love us? He laid do his life for us. That is how we must love each other, or we do not love enough.

  • my husband and i saw this movie about two weeks before we got married...it was such a great film...we decided that if our marraige was going to be strong, then God had to be at the head of it. We've been very happily married for almost a year now and we are stronger every day

  • This was a great movie and Im not even married..lol It still had me crying we need more movies like this

  • god's always revealing himself sounds like a flasher to me.

  • KIRK&CHURCH* FIREPROOF YOUR CHRISTIAN LIFE? Matt7:22 JESUS SAID*Many Will Say ToMe*Lord* Lord* Have We Not Prophesied in ThyName?& in ThyName Have Cast Out Devils?& Done Many Wonderful Works? And* Then Will I Profess Unto Them, I Never Knew You* Depart From Me* Ye That Work iniquity* MY HOLYSPIRIT BOOK REVEALS* BIRTH CONTROL IS SINFUL IN THE CHRISTIAN MARRIAGES & ALSO ROBBING GOD OF PRIESTHOOD CHILDREN*John 14:21 JESUS SAID* IF U LOVE ME KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS * REPENT TO RESTORE John3:3-16

  • God's like a little child. I have to 'ask him'.

That example you gave about air, is the same thing the Eastern religions used to show the existence of chi. Dude, maybe you're really a Taoist.

  • Kirk is who he is today BECAUSE of Jesus . To all those who judge Christ by those who try to follow him, you are only looking for an excuse not to take the higher road yourself. If you seek you will find the Bible says. Try seeking instead of judging since after all, Jesus is available to everyone.

  • Kirk is better than Jesus.

  • Scientists believe they have discovered the fossil remains of the Missing Link. Throws a big monkey wrench (joke intended) into the theory of creationism. What say you Kirk Cameron?

  • you are obviously a pawn of Satan "Spartacus217" you spend so much time on Christian videos and ive spent the past 3 hours watching many of them and you comment on everyone that i've watched....you are going out of your way to comment negatively and bash Christians on every video....I hope you seek help in Christ....you obviously have a devine hatred for Christ for no reason, you need to direct that hate towards yourself and find truth in Christ immediately before it is too late.

  • chrisn9ne: Too late for what? Sounds like a threat. I'm a non-believer. You telling me I can't be? Who are you? Most christians are just pretentious assholes. Look at the latest example. christian governor found cheating on his wife. Whatever happened to "lead by example"?

  • Whether a Christian or not, no one's perfect. Pinpointing imperfections of Christian individuals does not pinpoint imperfections of Christianity. Also, no credible scientist these days will say we come from monkeys. The Church (at least the Catholic one) agrees with the current evolution theory. Science does NOT have to versus religion, and vice versa. The father of genetics was a priest monk. I'm a Christian Biology Major.

  • Next time you're in church, go to the pulpit and tell your buddys that they didn't evolve from monkeys. They average christian seems ignorant. Remind them that science isn't a four letter word. I think Mendel was a Shaolin monk. He kicked ass!

  • I would have to disagree with the statment on "no credible scientisit belvies we came form monkies". Tecnically apes are still a subcategory of monkies. So tecnically we came form monkies just not the ones that are here today.

  • Why the thumbs down? It's a legitimate question. Or do you not like to look in the mirror? Introspection's a bitch I guess.

  • it's incredible how much venomfangx mirrors this guys speech and mannerisms

  • I am currently Challenging myself with the love dare. It's no joke, if you really try and have faith, it works.

  • good for you!!!! How is it going?

  • @bcpotts9122 how did the love dare go for you?

  • Yikes. This is insanity.

  • inspiring movie," GOD BLESS"

  • this is great! they are just like my parents, but mine changed. my dad used to be addicted to art and that would make him happy. my mom (other things)....every night or other day, my dad would be screaming his head off. but God changed his life and they are still 2gether. just happier

  • god may be love, but his followers are intolerant. BTW, Kirk Cameron hasn't spent most of his life making Hollywood blockbusters. Are you kidding?

  • I agree that the biggest turn offs to a relationship with Christ are his "followers". I've known precious few true Christians.

  • I can name at least one

  • B-O-R-I-N-G trailer and movie. Seriously. This belongs on

the Lifetime network. Right after the infomercials 3AM in the morning.

  • Rent "Milk" instead. Ponder your intolerance my christian brothers.

  • That was an awesome movie! :) And i did not know that kirk is Dj's(on Fullhouse) brother....?

  • Have an awesome day!

  • If you think the earth is 6000 years old you should be in a mental institution.

  • sigh...

  • This movie shows that God loves us and wants us to love one another! Smile God loves you! :]

  • The proudest atheist out there will often "die" on his deathbed. When faced with death, that pride ironically commonly fades. I feel such pity and sadness for anyone who believes that what we have here on earth is all there is, that there is no everlasting life beyond this. In reality, you and each of us WILL spend eternity in either hell with Satan or in heaven with God. It's not fiction, it is FACT.

  • It's proof when your life starts to change.

  • The bible is totaly true...why cant u except that..Jesus Loves you and hes real...just beacuse u cant see him dont mean that hes not real...like air..u cant see air sooo how do u no its really there?does that mean i can say the air isnt real...God is real...and if u read the book of John in the Bibe it tells u everything u dont understand!

  • pink, you said you cant see air and asked how do we know its really there....are you an idiot? if you were put in an environment with no air you would feel it. if you were put in an environment with not god/jesus you wouldnt feel any different

  • i have no idea why u are watching this youtube link unless you've already asked urself is there a God. Its like a boy flying a kite and the kite goes really high into the clouds. If u ask him is there a God he'll respond I can't see the kite but I know its there because of thee pull of the string. God is there and he pulls on ur heart strings u can either be stubborn about it or let it lead you. I pray you would give the second a shot. Good Luck

  • Prove it.

  • Dude, PinkPolkaDotBuble Gum just did it: its like the air: can u see it? NOO! but can u feel it? YEAAH ... It happens to be the same in God.. we cannot see it but feel Him. He will not reveal before you until you ask Him to reveal himself. All you have to do is to Ask Him. He wont let you down.

  • I think he reveals Himself in many other things and people around you and he knoks the door of your heart. You just have to let him in, open the door. A person that doesn't know God in its live maybe is influenced by Him in many ways: people, personal experiences...... infinite ways... SO THAT this person FEELS that he needs to open the door of the heart and ask God to come in -> asking means THE WILL of that person to change live.

Remember that "He loved us first".

    Have a nice day :)

  • Fantasy is more like it.

  • Best movie I've seen in a long time. It inspires me to try the "Love Dare". I have been married 14 yrs and about to be divorced. I really want this kind of marriage.

  • I don't know you, but you are certainly in my prayers. I went through a divorce several years ago and failed to see at the time how much I personally contributed to the demise of my marriage. I pray you committed to "The Love Dare" and are working towards achieving a Godly marriage with your spouse. Society's ways have taken a toll on marriage and the family--let's commit to doing it God's way. May God bless you!

  • Thank you so much for the encouragement. I really need the prayers. Sometimes it's so difficult to stay and work on it--it would be sooo much easier to run away. Please keep praying. It's hard when the devil is at the door.

  • It seems as though maybe you are feeling guilty or perhaps you don't have problems that this movie would "open your eyes". For most couples this movie did wonders. OH & PS the acting was wonderul!

  • why do you say that

  • Just bought it today. The whole world needs to see it.

    God Bless!

  • Let's ship the DVDs to Iran. I'm sure they'll love it.

  • hahaha ain't that the truth...

  • You know, I have seen this same exact thing in real life. This is movie is from a real life perspective. People can be the most selfish thing on this earth. This is great. Only others who have been through this in their own marriage can relate to the message.

  • Same thing happened to me last year.

  • I understand. I went through this myself and I was responsible for it. The Lord opened my eyes and my marriage was healed.

  • It made $32 million in box office from a $500,000 production cost thats 62x profit they made from the money they put in, sounds awesome to me.

  • Kirk i think you did a great JOB I LOVE THE MOVIE GOD BLEES YOU AND YOUR FAMLILY!!!!!!!!!

    AWESOME JOB!!!!!

  • It made $32 million in box office from a $500,000 production cost thats 62x profit they made from the money they put in, sounds awesome to me.

  • God is love!

  • Hey IwasBorn2Win, I agree with you arguing with someone will never get you anywhere only GOD can do the miraculous turn around in peoples lives....I have seen GOD change peoples lives time and time again where I thought there was no hope for this person .....Awesome movie by the way ....Anyone married should definately see this......Happy Thanksgiving everyone.....

  • There is no need for you to be bothered by anyone. God can't do anything for you until you invite him into your heart. God loves you enough to let you make your own choices.

  • Check out how all the positive reviews are from members of the same club aka blind faith christians.

  • LOVED FIREPROOF! Kirk Cameron's acting was excellent--he has grown & matured as an actor . . . & as a Christian. In this interview, great quotation: "Marriage is a school for learning how to be selfless"--Brilliant! "Love is more than a feeling; it is a commitmnet; it is a decision." God bless everyone connected w/ making Fireproof. God bless everyone who sees it. Go Marriage! Go God!

  • And it's so true, who gets married with plans of getting divorced someday after. Everyone gets married because they hope to spend the rest of their lives together, not with the hope of getting divorced!!! Its harder to keep your marriage together than getting divorced, if you want to get a divorce its because you are giving up. And I doesnt mean to stay in an abusive relationship.

  • Love doesnt choose you, YOU choose to love!!!

  • I loved Fireproof! Kirk, you are such a blessing from God! Your strong faith and performance in this movie was nothing I ever seen before! May God continue to bless you, your family, and your continuous ministry to help save God's people!

  • Ladies & Gentlemen, (people of faith) why are some U all going back & forth with a few people who see themselves to be " right" in their own eyes? Don't waste time, trying 2 change a repudated mind! Keep Focus! Some these comments are to get you to riot, to get you off focus, to disturbed your peace, to shake your emotions, to cause you to go into rage. To try to change someone's mind is like driving a car with no gas. Jesus Never argued with his critics, he left them pondering in his words.

  • This movie touches me so much and so is with my husband...best movie I have seen...

  • comedian, You don't pay for Adams sins, you pay for your own. You have a choice to sin or not. Can't you see the huge gaps in the "theories of evolution? There are plenty of people who believe in creation as opposed to evolution and the big bang theory. Are those theories any more logical than creation? I don't think so.

  • Comedian80..I'm having a beer in your honor.

  • This movie was awesome! God bless Kirk Cameron and the makers of this film.

  • Saw this last wee in florida. Brought me to tears. It was so true to life for me right now. But made me trust in the Lord more

  • comedian,

good question about 'every single animal' as it was only to be pairs but not 'every' one of the species. another theory is that the animals weren't all the ones depicted in books. it is very possible they scripted 'all' meaning 'all animals in the area' but from around the world is somewhat unlikely.

'Bible promotes violence'. where is this scripted as you say? you must mean the quran.

you 'wish failure' because you are religiously atheistic cult of missing links.

    pick another prophesy

  • You asked why God made us all sinners... God didn't make us sinners, we made us sinners. Adam and Eve had a choice and they believed satan over God. God made everything perfect, but man and the devil made sin and evil.

  • God would never "permit" any woman to be raped. What I mean by that is God would never say it's "ok" for a man to rape a woman. It's bad enough for any man to verbally or worse physically abuse any women, especially his wife.

I'd consider raping a woman to be an ultimate sin against her.

    Jeff

  • You should read the old testament. Your god apparently didn't have much of a problem with rape then did he?

  • Well, since your word usage of "your god" would indicate to me you don't belief in god or the bible to begin with. There's nothing in the old testament that says it's ok for a man to physically violate a womans body sexually, period.

Anything said to the contrary is just for purpose of initiating an arguement. Thats hard to do in a one way conversation.

    Jeff

  • Comedian, you saying you wish failure to this film only shows what kind of person you really are. You wish failure to a film that could help married couples? You wish failure to a film that could help people become more patient, kind, considerate, loving? Wow! and you talk about God being violent..... look into yourself and see who YOU really are, because you portray a violent, unloved, person.

  • Too late for Comedian's wish. The moive's been a success.

  • Yeah I actually heard more states are picking up the movie!

  • have you had a cleansing? surely not, good thing he's teaching kids that those parents want taught. the truth and faith in a maker and not a fluke from nowhere being a nobody.

science supports Biblical events and you are succumb to these in many ways today.

kirks an awesome guy. wishing failure is so demeaning.

  • Does it involve other people seeing me in the bath?

  • a small pool and you wear clothing.

you can chose no audience or share your precious moment with others but it's between you and God that it matters most.

  • This was the best christian film I've seen in a long time. Kirk Cameron did an excellent job, and the Lord used this film to touch many lives. I hope they put out more like this.

  • are you kidding??? is the best movie in yearssss!!!!!i love it

  • its made $12 million so far, which is probably far above its budget. so its already a success, especially by christian movie standards.

  • yeah, the budget was less than a million!

  • WONDERFUL movie!! God bless you :-)

  • This movie is very powerful. I LOVED IT!!! I cried at parts toward the end and if I was not careful I would have cried my eyes out. It was very moving and very believable. God Bless everyone involved in making this film and thank you for making it!

  • OMG!! I went to see Fireproof last night and it was SOOOO awesome! I am so happy it did so well last weekend, hopefully it will again this weekend. I will tell you, the theatre was PACKED, we had to sit in the very back row to get 6 seats together. Also, from that vantage point I can tell you, not one person left their seat during the whole movie and this is the first film I have been to in a very long time that everyone actually applauded at the end. Again, LOVED this movie, go see it!!!
