  • are you idiots???

  • are you idiots??

  • OF COURSE IS FAKE!!!

    that's not fake

    watch?v=dPgqfHYeI0Q&feature=related

  • Even if he really did sound like this, I'd still pay just to be in his presence.

  • @thinkreddie its a joke -.-

  • Fake.

  • as someone who played this piece... this was LOOOOOOOOOOLLL

  • JUST imagine WHAT face Maestro Perlman make when he watch this~!!! OMG...

  • Totally fake. ID for the real version is dPgqfHYeI0Q

  • @thinkreddie Fake? Realy? How do you know? I wouldn't be so sure....

  • He wouldn't look so jolly if he really sounded that horrible. This is what I sounded like when I tried to play violin.. Except worse...

  • HA HA VERY FUNNY. Perlman didn't play this bad when he was four!

  • How do the musicians keep a straight face? I would have broken down at the first failed harmonic.

  • @TheViolinist64 you know it fake right...?

  • this is so painfully hilarious to listen to

  • I don't think that this is real lol!

  • It would be cool to show this to your friends who haven't been exposed to classical music and just see their reaction..... : p

  • theending made me lol so much

  • Did he do this on purpose?

  • 0.3 and 0.44 harmonics WIN!

  • I know I played every note.

  • my god, these videos are hilarious

  • I will be 90 years young soon and I must admit this has been among the best six and a half minutes of me life I've ever spent. Thank you

  • You don't have anything better to do with your time? show some respect...

  • @americanpride007 lighten up. it's just for fun.

  • I really dont get why you people think its funny... propably makes you feel bether when you make it sound like yourselfs....Bunch of iconoclasts!

  • pointless job whatever you look at it...

  • they just put some random violinist's audio performance to itzhak's video performance, and WOW! :P

  • so flat

  • his face pahahahahaha

  • Funny as hell (especially the comments); better than Heifetz's imitation of nervous playing...

  • i don't get these shred videos, there is like a "shred" video of basically every musical performer.

Do the uploaders find different audio tracks or something, because these musicians don't actually do this. Pardon me if i sound Stupid but i don't understand... ;)

  • if you see BETTER , sometimes there is no vibrato in the audio but in the video YES!! so??? its of course a joke!!! perlman play perfectly this concert from the age of 10, and the great musician can hear a note mistake BEFORE they put the finger on! so... smile! :)

  • Hey, music is not "shredded",it is performed! This is a fine performance by I. Perlman but the audio is very muffled. What happened?

  • His expression makes everything so perfect :D

  • oh my gosh. this is a joke...

  • I'm pretty sure this is dubbed, somehow with very careful video/sound coordination....every so often it doesn't line up.

  • For the same video with great sound, visit Nodame2006 youtube channel. Exact same video. But this video's sound sucks. Don't blame Perlman. Compare it for yourselve.

  • @geegeebobo very true indeed: /watch?v=dPgqfHYeI0Q

  • i thought perlman was one of the best.. hmmm

  • People need to have sense of humor for forgive you! lol

¡Sólo así se equivoca ese genio!

  • The best of all the shreds including Creed, Santana, etc. At first I thought 6+ minutes would seem a bit long, but there are so many great riffs in this it doesn't get old through many, many listenings. What a great sense of humor and I completely agree: The violinist who did this has to be damned talented.

  • it still sounds quite beautiful when shredding haha

  • @unotelly - Musicians do not "shred". They perform music.

  • Its so funny to see his facial expressions while it sounds like he's making mistakes, like he's just enjoying it no matter how he sounds.

  • Oh dear. Itzhak - please - no one actually thinks its you. Youre the greatest. Mind you the guy behind these dreadful sounds must be pretty good too.

  • Great! How did you do it? Nice work!

  • @FodorPupil Also.. hilarious! Love it!

  • @FodorPupil Also.. hilarious! Love it!

  • @devphyflutist I apologize for speaking with so much hostility; I did not know your reasoning so I misinterpreted your intent. However, if I were to be made to look stupid and ugly in a video it would have been most people's first time seeing me; meaning that that would have been their first impression of me. However, many of the people here are already familiar with Perlman's playing. Therefore, there's no way anyone will actually mistake this dubbing for Perlman's actual playing.

  • No it wasn't dubbed - u can tell when audience didn't want to clap

  • @devphyflutist Are you serious? Everyone knows that this is a joke, lighten up. Everyone here realizes that this was a dubbed video. You don't need to tell us that this was not actually Perlman; WE ALREADY KNOW. STOP TREATING US LIKE WE'RE STUPID LITTLE CHILDREN WHO NEED EVERYTHING EXPLAINED TO THEM.

    Thanks, I appreciate it.

  • i laughed...SO HARD!!! :D :D :D

  • Awesome job of joining your "PERFORMANCE" to the accompaniment! BRAVO~!

  • this is what happens when you don't tune your strings :)

  • love the crappy slide at 2:08

    that was hilarious :'-)

  • HAHAHAHAHAHA I laughed so hard I cried.... hahaha Thank you for posting this!!! I think I woke everyone up. hahah (Obviously wasn't Pearlman for those who are not violinists) lol OMG!!! Amazing...

  • This is so bullshit!!! If you want to insult not only maestro Perlman but also Mendelssohn by doing this, go home and masturbate you self or all your recordings!!! Sorry this is so bad taste!!!!!!!!!!!

  • haha~ this is probably how i play it to be honest...

  • around 3:25, it sounded a bit like a Chicken. or was that just my wondering mind?

  • LOL 3:20

  • Comment removed

  • nailed it.

  • i laughed so hard watching this

  • You are the greatest music troll ever:D

  • @0:52 hahahahahahahahahaaaaa the harmonic!!

  • I hope everyone realizes its not Perlman playing for realz.

  • It´s awful hard to play that wrong when you are able to play it right.

  • @anonymusum So true! I can not imagine how difficult it would be!!! I'll have to try sometime lol

  • you put words to my thoughts....

  • @anonymusum This video is being processed through Nuendo or similar program. So this is fake. I was listening this concerto here on youtube, Mendhelson e minor was perfectly played, this video is fake.

  • @91valdo Nice work, Sherlock! Thanks for setting all of us straight.

  • @anonymusum True, except the dubber obviously has some skill to be able to play the fast 16th passages correctly, with a "similar" articulation to what Itzhak is doing.

  • Как не стыдно!!!

    За эти видео надо сажать!

    Не верьте этому!Это накладка звука!

    Вот оригинал!

    w w w.youtube.com/watch?v=dPgqfHYeI0Q

  • its fake...

  • How did I get stuck watching all these shredding videos?

  • love his "stare of innocence" at 1:04 lol

  • C'est horriblement faux !!!

  • oh gosh

  • Got a good lawyer?

  • Genius, pure genius! This is even funnier than the clip of Heifetz imitating an awful student!!! BRAVO Fatpjerrot!

  • Surely, people who undertake this kind of corrupt experiment are a waste of space and a shame to the human race.

Keep watching The Simpsons. Same level of intellect.

  • @stenkarazin51 The Simpsons is actually a very intellectual show, especially compared to most modern garbage. Keep watching your Twilight saga. LOLZ noob.

  • Poor Itzhak ... but I suppose if you're that famous you must expect that some joker will take all this trouble to fake and zync a joke recording (with orchestra!) to the genuine visuals. It is in fact very hard to play that much out of tune! We practise good intonation for years and such bad intonation is hard work! Ha ha!

  • Perfect that sophisticated face with that false crying festival:) This one is certainly creative:p

  • How do you do it?

  • How much practice does it take to play like this? I think there must be an art in doing things obviously badly but still purposefully.

  • roflmao!!!!!

  • this is fake watch original video.- /watch?v=dPgqfHYeI0Q&feature=related

  • @first1rst NO SHIT SHERLOCK

  • Pardon! Malgré la performance de Itzak perlman je trouve cette vidéo affreuse!

  • @stoklund Are you sure that you were watching and listening to the same video as everyone else on YouTube? -_0

  • I hope you all know what it means for a professional player to shred a piece: it means that someone else who knows how to play the song plays the song ridiculously, and then edits it so that it goes perfecty with how a professional is playing. Sorry that I gotta be the partypooper for the joke... it just seems that very few seem to realize the whole "shredding a piece" thing: P

  • at least he still plays confidently when it's out of tune

  • He's way out of tune here...Holy smokes!

  • @Ravivharshanee this video is a joke. He played this piece perfectly, but the creator of this video dubbed their own "joke" version of the solo part, and placed it over perlman's original part. This is not actually him, I thought most people would get that memo.

  • KKK coitado do Perlman

  • Perhaps he needed to tune up. I have feeling that a string or two slipped.

  • LOL!!!!

  • I have a hhard time typing... I'm really side splitting!!! This is one of the funiest video I've seen in a long time!

  • Comment removed

  • I think his intonation was a little on in measure 124.

  • Who arranged this song, its so different on a whole new level

  • omg?!

  • Rune T. Sørensen and Jens Balslev - I don't know who you are but if I did I think we would be best friends. HAHAHAHAHAHA. OMG, I have to change my shorts.

  • hahahahaha LOL

  • OOOOOOPS! BAD !!! Sounds like MY playing.eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • for everyone who thinks this is real

    /watch?v=dPgqfHYeI0Q&feature=related

  • THIS IS GENIUS!!!!!!

  • Awesome! Now when I play out of tune, I'm gonna pass it off as a shred!

  • i love that whoop at 2:07

  • muy desafinado

  • This is humiliation!

  • ahahahahaha. that sounded like me sight reading way to fast

  • Whats the point of these kind of videos? Such an useless way of losing your time...

  • @cadillacs1981 LIGHTEN UP!!! Ever hear of HUMOR???

  • lol. this is like what rep class is like

  • True master at work

  • i was like WTF?! then i read the video title and i was like, "ohhhh..."

i have to say the intonation is terrible, but the musical expression was great! makes no sense, but i think whoever played this must play amazingly in real life lol.

  • You really should've edited out the applause and have like an awkward silence

  • best interpretation ever.

  • This is not fake!!!!

Actually Perlman plays so amazing live. I know it can be hard to believe, but he's the closest we get to a violin god! Brilliant intonation, perfect time, and a tone that gets your heart racing!!!! I just love him!!! :-D

  • this is great X'D

  • Perfect job ( who made this vide , should be a great violin player. You have to know :D how to do thees mistakes :D )

  • Perfect!

  • Brilliant! Was feeling a bit low today, but this put a huge cheeky grin on my face, thanks for posting!

  • wow, his Stradivarius sounds like this? LOL...

  • jajajajajaajajajajajajja

  • LOVE the duckface with that harmonic at 0:54!

  • LOL!! I love whoever made this video. any yeah..if you know anything about violins and music..this is a fake . hahahahaha

  • this greatness of Perlman touches me to tears.

  • NOOBS IT IS FAKE!!!

  • i love the "whoop" at 2:07. also the reluctant, tepid applause at the end.

  • omg

  • He has style even playing bad. xDD

  • very well kepted your eyes on all musical and technical

    things of this Concerto....

    my compliments, we are going

to speak in Universaty about this Phönomel

equipment want would you change first in this Technic ?

and what would you critizes frist ...very well done

    I love this video

very Sorry for my false Mr.Perlmann so as I see

    your are masculin

  • Comment removed

  • lol

  • LOL.

  • Hahahahahahahahahahahaha LIKE :D

  • HIghlight at 6:02

  • I think this is Perlman's playing distorted by computer goofing, by a prankster who really knows the piece, too. And the credits say "Audio and Editing" so I am going to go with this theory. It is the original track fed through equipment to screw it up. That way it really seems like Perlman since it has his style and left hand articulation. Very well done. I hope Perlman appreciates the Joke.

  • god who synced this? they are a genius!

  • Haha. This is funny :P Even though it is edited this is very nicely done. It's edited, but shows that everyone (including perlman) can have their good and bad days. :)

  • Being a violinist myself I really appreciate this shred. This is just extremely funny!! And very well done by somebody who clearly is a gifted violinist too and who knows how to imitate Perlman. And the audio is also very realistic. This is in my opinion an Oscar shred!

  • Oh nooooooooo. OH YES!!!!!! Lol.

  • Yeah... I've never heared of Itzhak Perlman but I still find this hilarious, though it's probably even more fun if you know how it's suppose to sound ^^

  • stupid joke

  • Wow, to everyone criticizing the video - the point is that it's a joke. Every joke on a stage or a screen is NOT tailored to be funny to everyone. This kind of comedy is suitable for musicians, that's all. (Also, anyone who isn't aware that it's edited can EASILY scroll down and read the comments. Bam.)

  • It's really hilarious :) because we all know that Perlman is Great violinist and I am sure he himself would be laughing very much watching this :)

  • Does Perlman know you did this??????? It's great. (I think)

  • The guy that ruined

  • Why edit audio, to what purpose, perhaps envy?

  • @stefanonio Uh, who ISN'T jealous of Pearlman?? :D

  • @OrangeSodaKing

This trick is very funny but also very dangerous, youth who do not know Perlman will think that the violin is a bad instrument ...

  • @OrangeSodaKing

And, please, don't be envious of none ... ever.

  • This is astonishing! How did you get the orchestra so in time?! And the violin synching is Amazing.

  • Hahaha 5:03 sounded like a cat died! *SCREEECCCH*

  • There is something in the human heart that always wants to see people who do some things better than us fail. oh right, its called jealousy. this guy is not making funny videos hes attacking the artists that make them and i suspect that his attacks are born out of jealousy.

  • @gnatural this is actually a genre of videos in which someone syncs a poor quality recording over the video of someone else playing. its funny because itzhak perlman, frank zappa, or steve vai are incredible musicians. it wouldnt work in any other way. people who do not know what "shredding" videos will learn soon enough if they just scroll down a little bit or realize all of them are terrible performances synced over a video.

  • you need to stop making these videos. yeah it seems like its funny but its really not. you are hurting his career more than helping it. there are still people who have never heard itzhak play and what if they come across this? its not cool, show some respect for his artistry.

  • @gnatural That's silly. First it's very funny. Only idiots would think the vid is real. If people diddn't respect Perlmann, it wouldn't actually be funny.

  • @IZn0g0uDatAll I dont know why you say "only idiots" would think this video is real. Can we also assume that only "idiots" dont know who Itzhak perlman is? what a foolish thing to say and how offensive. There are still people who when I ask them if they have ever heard of Itzhak Perlman do not know who he is. So then it is possible for someone to come across this video and think that this is what the guy actually sounds like.

  • @gnatural If theses people can't figure out that it's a joke despite all evidence and have never heard of Perlman, you can assume they don't know anything at all about classical music. Which is fine. But then it wouldn't matter at all since it wouldn't hurt one little bit his reputation. Right?

  • @IZn0g0uDatAll You just touched on a very important point. you said "you can assume they don't know anything at all about classical music". There are people who have never heard classical music before and there are those who have heard but have a very very limited knowledge. now a video like this, instead of promoting how awesome classical music is, it simply ruins the "first impression" for both the person that has never heard it and the person who has a very limited knowledge of the artist

  • @IZn0g0uDatAll And how is someone with a very limited knowledge of classical music going to understand after hearing this that it is a joke? there are people who will not , you can just assume that everyone will. so either way, Itzhaks reputation and classical music is being hurt in some way because the listener , even more important "first impression listeners" are being deceived into listening to something false.

  • @gnatural You don't get it. If they don't know about Perlman, it doesn't hurt his reputation. QED

Are you THAT boring in real life too or is it only on youtube? This is a joke. Nobody cares. People know it's fake. If they don't they look at the comments. Period.

  • Well, Perlman also had bad evenings. Its a difficult piece anyway. Some others, like Kavakos, Fischer or Jansen have also very much trouble with it.

  • @Kapputschino12 no no no, when theres the word "shred" on these sorts of videos that means that theyre dubbing on top of what he really sounds like. the audio here is nooooot itzak perlman playing, its just a crude joke. perlman would never sound this horrible and have such a happy smile on his face....... >__<

  • @theeReddVision I heard Perlman playing much worse than in this video. And still looked that happy..
