Love Emirates. Traveled with them in Business from Dubai to Bangkok and I loved it. The 747-8 would be lovely in their fleet, but the chance is miroscopic.

Homer, do you not worry that something will give you a upset tummy? remember i told you i was poorly on my flight from BKK-DXB and needed to use the toilet on the plane lets say a few times....i was pleased i was in the J section and not in Y, the Emirates staff were great at DXB and i got to see a doctor, he asked me where i ate and in the last 24 hours i said Emirates lounge BKK and on the plane business class, April when i was over i starved myself in the lounges and flights just in case..

Honestly, i never had a problem. And actually in your case it might still have been something from BKK outside the airport. No, dont starve - just enjoy these wonderful lounges! And travel with some pills for the estomac..just in case:)

homer great vid. i plan to fly to bkk, this summer. jfk -bkk. i think on emirates, in buss class. this vid is very helpful. but how is the connection to bkk. i hear a lot of horror stories on emirates, like long layovers- lost bags- rude staff, let me know plz.

Well, first pity you are going to miss the A-380 on the NY-DXB leg; so try to catch it on the DXB-BKK leg! I flew twice DXB-BKK. First was louzy in terms of food service and i and many others complained. Second, recent flights DXB-BKK-DXB were very good. Emirates never lost any of my bags, baggage service was always extremely efficient. Rude staff? No way..just check my vids. For me among the very best staff in the air.

I agree as to the view..but the culinary temptations kept me busy:) You would be welcome to the Sushi, lol. And the lounge became more full when the passengers en route to Australia arrived. Mind you: i arrived there 4 hours early on purpose:)

Thank you all for your very nice comments! As to your questions: outside Dubai, they have the "Emirates Lounges" which doe not distinguish between First and Business Class. Yes, it got more crowded, also with passengers on their way from Dubai to Australia. The song is one of the Emirates souds, i dont know how it is called. PS: and if you like it, please rate it:)
