@teamyamiblue no it does not stupid ass. there the same bike more less 600cc engines and they all go 160-165MPH MAX. with a redline of 15-16K. its all about the rider. id smoke you any day i know that for a FACT!.
@teamyamiblue AGAIN! wrong stupid stupid stupid!, The r6 2006+ R6 has "AROUND" 123 HP at the crank shaft, but as with all vehicles there is some loss before it gets to the rear wheel so it ends up being about 107-110 HP Rear wheel, and CBR 2005-2006 rear wheel HP is about 105-108. so there the same look it up all the true info is on google
@teamyamiblue LOL your so stupid it blows my mind. it does not had 145HP at the crank case it has more like 120-127 and at the rear wheel 107-111 and yes 1/4mile avergae is indeed 11sec so your correct about one thing congrats tart
@teamyamiblue all 600's are in the 11 sec range stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid your brainless and know nothing!!!!!!!!! about bikes please STFU loser
@teamyamiblue No stupid your speedo is off by about 3 to 4 % at max speed ask anybody who really knows about bikes not your stupid friends or some youtube comments
@RaptureIZI yeah this guy is clearly past restarted there all the same RR/600RR/ZX6R max speed 165/170 if going down a hill. and DUH depends all on the rider not the BIKE!
@Goku33333 actually the r6 outmatches the cbr600 (on track), the cbr600 is award winning for street riding, but for the track, the r6 is highly recommended over the cbr600 because of the high powr range at high revs, the r6 basically screams at 13k rpm. Check out the Supersport shootout comparison between the r6, cbr600, zx6r, daytona 675, and gsxr 600. The zx6r is also left in the dust once the r6 hits 100hp at 13k rpm. But yes, the rider > bike itself always
Fuck all u guys RR1 all the way faggits Ans fuck ur cbr bitches I'll smash them any day I live in Cali so if u fit money lets race nothing under 3k plz
@gonzalesfam4 are you stupid monkey from compton or sum shit cuz that is what you sound like ..and the people u eace are probably black guys who think they are gangster but everryone know black guys cant ride bikes >>thats why u never buy a bike off a black guy ..just cause the movie Biker Boyz has black dude that ride its just movie And Im in the D thats Detroit my dude but im coming to cali in a noth with my 2003 rr 600 and illl smoke you ..
Funny how on Youtube everyone is an experienced rider and probably one of the best and would beat almost anyone in a race. the people who chat this shit are probably 15 year old kids to be honest.
@petechett agreed!!! It's easy look. I will beat anyone on my RR (that I don't actually have) nothing under 10k please (also that I don't have). People can talk themselves up so big. I call BS on the majority of these comments.
@sherp2u wow grow up dude, really why pick a fight on the internet, grow up. im not bashing the guy. just stating a reason as to why he may have lost. every shoot out review ive seen of the japanese 600 super sports always say the same thing. the r6 is a great track tool but the clutch and top end only powerband makes it the weakest to launch. & i put a video of my bike up just for u. k3 gsxr 750. what u ride again? if u dont have n e thing nice to say then dont say n e thing at all.
@OnyxRR dude are you freaking serious just look up both bikes for real. i dont need to tell you which bike is better im pretty sure youll figurfe it out , o and btw it's not the honda.
@McOrca09 Do you even ride? If you do it seems you probably own an R6 and I can tell you right now you couldn't beat my CBR. I meet guys with your mentality all the time and the one thing they all have in common is that they are horrible riders with sissy strips as far as the eye can see. This bike is better then that bike, who cares? I bet the guy on the R6 in this video is just like you thinking "look at me look at me my bike is better then yours but I cant ride it..."
@OnyxRR wow and you must be a kid no i dont own a r6 there to tall for me unforunatly , but i do own a ducati , jap bikes are too slow for me lol. and besides my bio there is no comparison when you have a r6 vs a cbr600rr the r6 is faster in every year and it will remain that way so please stop being stuck up on your bike. there really is no point in arguing over facts yes of course the rider matters in a race but only to a certain extent.
@McOrca09 The rider only matters to a certain extent? Are you serious? The rider is everything on a bike you fool. The bike doesnt move without the rider so you obviously have no clue. And jap bikes are too slow but you say you own a Ducati? The 2011 Ducati 1198sp makes 170 hp. The 2010 CBR 1000RR makes 180 hp. Its a know fact that V-Twins don't produce the power of an inline 4 but Ducati's are designed more towards better handling then power. If you were an educated rider you'd know this...
@McOrca09 Look "son," you arent meeting me anywhere, I hardly believe you even ride and if you do I highly doubt you own a Ducati. And even if you did you'd most likely would just spend all that money to come here and get embarrased. Just like you're doing now. Quit being such a tool...
@OnyxRR look this is the real fucking world kid if you cant back your shit up then you shouldnt be talkin it on a damn video site trying to look all bad and intelligent when your not, trust going to meet you would cost me my pocket change. and yes i do so very much own a ducati you act like their rare bikes.
@McOrca09 Sorry to say but a Duc ain't gonna beat no Honda, Yamaha,Kawi or Suzuki. Don't get me wrong Ducs are very nice bikes...very nice, but they aren't gonna keep up with something that is solely designed for speed. A duc cannot keep up with anything in it's class, you should look at real tack statistics OnyxRR before you let your anger do the talking, The only Ducs you refer too are GP class bikes, which I highly doubt you own a 200,000$ bike
@greenmarine5 Ducati's are made for speed, great bikes, and you say it can't beat a Honda! yea but what happens when you have a retard shifting gears? 80% rider 20% bike. it's all about engine output, aerodynamics, weight, grip, and torque, not about what the vehicle was made to do. Honda's are great bikes but when you say a Ducati can't beat a Honda it makes you sound un-intelligent, since results depend on different variables.
@McOrca09 No actually the Honda is faster than the R6 until 2009 the 09 R6 and R1 have totally new designed engines which gives them a slightly higher top end and mid range. On a track the R6 outperforms the RR because it has more torque to power out of the turns. The R6 is a much more difficult bike to learn to ride than the RR is . That could be why the RR is more popular. Any case both of you sound like two hicks that have no clue what you're talking about
@greenmarine5 I have no clue what I'm talking about but you just agreed with a few things I've said? Other then the bullshit shit talkin which was exactly what it was I very much know what I'm talkin about. I know it takes the rider to win the race and not the bike. I know every bike has their pros and cons and no bike is ever really better then another bike. Its all personal preference. I know The V-twin powered Ducatis cant make the power of an inline 4 but can out handle them from the factory
@greenmarine5 All you're spouting out is technical data and other nonsense. It's much more different in real life. I'm sure that you've never rode an R6, CBR, or a Ducati around the track ever, or ever rode a motorcycle at all.
@greenmarine5 No, you're just saying that the R6 will automatically win on the track when anyone with common sense would know that there are too many variables to determine which bike is better, lol.
That reminds me, which bike won the Supersport World Championship with six consecutive wins? LOL
@OnyxRR That guy is probably a 15 year old kid who doesn't even ride who thinks its all about the bike and not the rider, how can he even suggest Jap bikes are not fast? CBR all the way.
Nothing to do with the bike, all the skill is in the rider, the R6 could have had a better start to give the CBR more of a fight, I'll put my money down on the CBR rider to switch and still win, the R6 rider doesn't look atall like he pushes the bike, the R6 is a really nice so is the CBR but when it comes to street i'd prefer the CBR.
I may be prejudice because I ride an R6(09 orange/raven,sweet....)but I say the Yamaha is the best bike. Yamaha dominates the racing world whether it's MotoGP,SBK SUPER BIKE or SUPERCROSS.....enough said except, SOME OF YOU GUYS NEED TO LEARN HOW TO SPELL before you comment!! I mean daaayuum,"YOU'RE KILLIN' ME SMALLS!!
@derekgharris not saying your wrong, but track racing doesn't = street riding, the r6 lacks the low down for daily street riding, trackwise is a different story.
I think due to the r6 having a higher redline it doesn't have as much power low in the rpm band...I have a 2004 600rr and my bro has a 07 r6 and side by side at 120kph in 6th we full throttle I pull away fairly quick and both bikes are stock except slip-ons
On paper r6 should have won in the 1/8 mile but its mostly about the rider. He had a bad start so what maybe he doesnt race all the time and rides the streets like they should be rode. Im all about racing but squids on the track are bound to make mistakes.
@DiSwHiTeBoY2KrAzY I've owned both as well neither one is faster than the other nice try though fan boy. Maybe the 2010 model the r6 is slightly faster because of the new engine design. Now I have a 2010 R1..very nice bike although the transmission is no were near as smooth as the Honda's
@Greenmarine6 haha..i just sold my 2005 cbr1000rr cause of high miles..and bought a 2006 r-6 raven..its a nice bike..i was lookin dor one to stunt on figured this would be a good bike..but my last r-6 felt faster than my cbr 600..but thats my opinion ...
@Greenmarine6 how is he a fan boy? lol! You don't have a single video of any of the bike's you're talking about. either get some videos up or zip your lip. haha
would a cbr 600 be a good bike to start on i been riding dirt bikes my hole life but everyone tells me not to go with like an r1 at first get used to it first so would taht be good
@atvrider0009 Really just get whatever you want man. I want from 0 riding experience straight on a 600 to learn and then bought a 750. If you want a r1 then do it but you really have to set limits and absolutely don't do anything your not 100% comfortable with. Going from a 600 to a 1000 is pretty much relearning anyways, I woulda gotten a 10r if insurance wasn't crazy. Also remember to always wear a helmet and protective gear especially when learning or you'll get fucked up.
Whot of the 2 bikes has the most torgue and who has higher accelration. need to know this shit because i want a cbr 600 and friend of mine want to buy the r6 omfg i hope honda is faster please help before i buy wrong one XD
@DoggedCyprez ok...i have an r6 and my buddy has a cbr600rr...i always beat him. however, his bike has better and quicker powerband. the r6 powerband on my 2008 doesnt kick in until abt 11,000. anywhere after dat i can beat nebody. it helps if you nkow how to launch ur bike as well. ur friend gettin da r6 is prolly gon beat u if u guys roll from like 40. but hondas are better for stunting due to weight displacement so hell b able to ride wheelies better. overall, r6 is tha best to me.
Thx for fast response man, still in doub whut to do. i would love to get a bit older more damaged model en crank that shit up from the ground, i want i good n i want to make it fcking fast. guys i work with drive both a harley davidson roadking so maybe if i buy the cbr600 i defenitly win from them haha! somebody knows a gut site to get part from for the yahama and honda ? Cheers
k first of all i wanna say I love all 600 class sport bikes n never argue over which one is better (although i own a gsxr :) ) but the yamaha rider in this vid accelerated like a ninja 250 .. slow and steady
think about it yamaha are ahead of the rest by at least a couple of years EVERY single year. in 98 and 99 the rest of the jap companies suffered such depression and hurt feelings since yamaha built the baddest bikes out there. Now if you had a 2003 r6 and a 2008 cbr yeah of course the cbr is the greater bike but each year when the new bikes come out i cannot find one reason to pick the honda over the yamaha
@SouthFloridaBiker dude i never said anything about top end or bottom end or torque OR quarter mile or nothing, all i said was that the r6 guy failed miserably. so dont put any words in my mouth. but now that you mentioned it, i actually do believe that if you had a cbr and a r6 both the same year and the same rider testing them out that the r6 would win by a tad bit every time.
yeah the r6 should have MUCH more power... but maybe the cbr owner tuned his bike a bit... the exhaust for example doenst sound quite standard style....
@kyba74 uhm definitly not the slowest my ninja 650r quartermiles in at 8.3 seconds pretty fast and ive beat countless grands on the highway. but for weight yea i agree it is one of the heaviest sport bike line. me and a full tank of gas weighs 510 lbs ): my bike dry weighs 441.
many reviews point out the fact that the 600rr is faster down the quarter than an r1 because of meaty mid range and shorter gearing and more forgiving clutch in stock trim.
ok all of you, CBR is legend period, there is no one that can say otherwise? when it comes to racing CBR repsol kicks ass and its still kicking. yamaha came long after with the looks of CBR so now give some credit where its due.
@deyan125 not really guy. the cbr 600 is the tourqiest 600 ever, nobody caqn argue with that. i bet that r6 will kill that cbr top end but if you think that stock r6 will beat that cbr 600 on a quarter mile your crazy.
ROFL u guys r stupid if u think this race has anything to do with the different bikes. that race only showed that the guy on the cbr600 is a better rider. And i dought he would win every time...
@xXxBouncexXx true and honestly between the hondas, suzukis, yamahas, and kawasakis you wont find a bad bike no matter what brand you pick theyre all good bikes its just your brand preference to be honest.
Not really sure why everyone is saying the R6 should take the hole and win. The R6 has a power band that will send you to the moon. You have to be around 9k rpm before it starts. The CBR has more low to midrange power. There for it launches quicker and is gone. The R6 can't beat anything! Infact, my dads streetglide would smoke me from 0 to 60 because of the torque and power a v-twin puts out. As for the CBR, dad doesn't come close now.
I ride an 09 600rr, my last bike was an R6. The CBR has the power where it is needed. The R6, well its set for the track. My 600rr hits the PB around 4k-4,500k.

r-6 is faster than that cbr..ive owned both
DiSwHiTeBoY2KrAzY 1 year ago
@DiSwHiTeBoY2KrAzY I've owned both as well neither one is faster than the other nice try though fan boy. Maybe the 2010 model the r6 is slightly faster because of the new engine design. Now I have a 2010 R1..very nice bike although the transmission is no were near as smooth as the Honda's
Greenmarine6 1 year ago
@Greenmarine6 haha..i just sold my 2005 cbr1000rr cause of high miles..and bought a 2006 r-6 raven..its a nice bike..i was lookin dor one to stunt on figured this would be a good bike..but my last r-6 felt faster than my cbr 600..but thats my opinion ...
DiSwHiTeBoY2KrAzY 1 year ago
@Greenmarine6 how is he a fan boy? lol! You don't have a single video of any of the bike's you're talking about. either get some videos up or zip your lip. haha

would a cbr 600 be a good bike to start on i been riding dirt bikes my hole life but everyone tells me not to go with like an r1 at first get used to it first so would taht be good
atvrider0009 1 year ago
@atvrider0009 Really just get whatever you want man. I want from 0 riding experience straight on a 600 to learn and then bought a 750. If you want a r1 then do it but you really have to set limits and absolutely don't do anything your not 100% comfortable with. Going from a 600 to a 1000 is pretty much relearning anyways, I woulda gotten a 10r if insurance wasn't crazy. Also remember to always wear a helmet and protective gear especially when learning or you'll get fucked up.
JohnnH999 1 year ago
@thanks alot for the answers man

Even though I'm a CBR guy, it is clear that the guy on the CBR got a better start and and that the rider on the R6 sucks!.

Whot of the 2 bikes has the most torgue and who has higher accelration. need to know this shit because i want a cbr 600 and friend of mine want to buy the r6 omfg i hope honda is faster please help before i buy wrong one XD
DoggedCyprez 1 year ago
@DoggedCyprez ok...i have an r6 and my buddy has a cbr600rr...i always beat him. however, his bike has better and quicker powerband. the r6 powerband on my 2008 doesnt kick in until abt 11,000. anywhere after dat i can beat nebody. it helps if you nkow how to launch ur bike as well. ur friend gettin da r6 is prolly gon beat u if u guys roll from like 40. but hondas are better for stunting due to weight displacement so hell b able to ride wheelies better. overall, r6 is tha best to me.

funnyshitbraa 1 year ago
think about it yamaha are ahead of the rest by at least a couple of years EVERY single year. in 98 and 99 the rest of the jap companies suffered such depression and hurt feelings since yamaha built the baddest bikes out there. Now if you had a 2003 r6 and a 2008 cbr yeah of course the cbr is the greater bike but each year when the new bikes come out i cannot find one reason to pick the honda over the yamaha

@deyan125 you are correct in what you say, sir
n8glore 1 year ago
@SouthFloridaBiker dude i never said anything about top end or bottom end or torque OR quarter mile or nothing, all i said was that the r6 guy failed miserably. so dont put any words in my mouth. but now that you mentioned it, i actually do believe that if you had a cbr and a r6 both the same year and the same rider testing them out that the r6 would win by a tad bit every time.

sandronumber10 1 year ago
@sandronumber10 the ninja is the slowest of all three on paper.. it is by far the heaviest. 20kgs heavier than the honda! (2007+ models)
kyba74 1 year ago
@kyba74 uhm definitly not the slowest my ninja 650r quartermiles in at 8.3 seconds pretty fast and ive beat countless grands on the highway. but for weight yea i agree it is one of the heaviest sport bike line. me and a full tank of gas weighs 510 lbs ): my bike dry weighs 441.

many reviews point out the fact that the 600rr is faster down the quarter than an r1 because of meaty mid range and shorter gearing and more forgiving clutch in stock trim.
kofski321 2 years ago
ok all of you, CBR is legend period, there is no one that can say otherwise? when it comes to racing CBR repsol kicks ass and its still kicking. yamaha came long after with the looks of CBR so now give some credit where its due.

Experienced riders say that an average rider will perform much better on the cbr than on the r6, because of its lightweight and ease of control.
Looks like this video is a perfect example.

jackojeff 1 year ago
@deyan125 not really guy. the cbr 600 is the tourqiest 600 ever, nobody caqn argue with that. i bet that r6 will kill that cbr top end but if you think that stock r6 will beat that cbr 600 on a quarter mile your crazy.
SouthFloridaBiker 1 year ago
Oh btw KiLLaBYTe1 the sv650s 0-60 stock is only slower by 0.6 seconds. if u want somethin fast check out a 1000 class.
kbutler1234 2 years ago
ROFL u guys r stupid if u think this race has anything to do with the different bikes. that race only showed that the guy on the cbr600 is a better rider. And i dought he would win every time...

bonitonate4u 2 years ago
Not really sure why everyone is saying the R6 should take the hole and win. The R6 has a power band that will send you to the moon. You have to be around 9k rpm before it starts. The CBR has more low to midrange power. There for it launches quicker and is gone. The R6 can't beat anything! Infact, my dads streetglide would smoke me from 0 to 60 because of the torque and power a v-twin puts out. As for the CBR, dad doesn't come close now.
Neilstr1990 2 years ago 5
Thought the CBR would kick in at 8k rpm?? My hornet does anyway.
fionnoc 2 years ago
I ride an 09 600rr, my last bike was an R6. The CBR has the power where it is needed. The R6, well its set for the track. My 600rr hits the PB around 4k-4,500k.
Much more low end than an R6.
