  • best Scene

  • The intensity of the confrontation with Eddie is very well done

  • Michael Caine was way better as Carter

  • @ToonandBBfan I really don't know why he agreed to playing in this film. In fact I understand he asked for a part and was written in!

  • please...what ending song this video ? :(

  • 1 of the coolest bastards ever way to go Sly.

  • what is the name of the song at the end of the clip??? :)

  • @foxclan99 Tyler Bates - Chicken In Chinatown :)

  • "You killed yourself." Awesome, simply awesome.

  • Very underrated film. I loved the original but this movie was very impressive too. Sylvester Stallone showed wonderful acting. The same with Miranda Richardson, Rachael Leigh Cook, Johnny Strong, Alan Cumming, John C. McGinley and others. "Get Carter" is my personal favorite Stallone movie in decade 2000-2009

  • @Magnolia296 That's only 9 years. Strong decade fail.

  • @PeterStevens01 No, it's 10. Mathematics fail ;)

  • @kayennek NO YOU FAIL RETARD!

    2000 to 2001, 2001 to 2002, 2002 to 2003, 2003 to 2004, 2004 to 2005, 2005 to 2006, 2006 to 2007, 2007 to 2008, 2008 to 2009 - Count the years and tell me exactly how that's 10 years?

  • I thought this was a kick ass movie! A very good remake....

  • I saw this movie for the first time the other night - and this specific scene was really excellently executed. Stallone shines, that girl is genuinely in tears and he offers consolation in his way...his tough guy way.

The entire movie was superb. I just saw today the original 71 with MC - loved both films.

  • The fact that he's an Italian called Carter goes to show how pointless this film is. Cane vowed never to watch it.

  • @baceace Yeah Stallone being Italian really has something to do with the quality of this movie. Idiot.

  • not as good as the original

  • I don't care underrates, I like it.

  • I would watch it, if the movie was uploaded somehwere.

  • can somebody write what he said please?

  • Long time ago I did something very wrong and since that day I felt like garbage. Until one day I just couldn't take it anymore and I decided to go to church for the first time in years and confess with Father Frank (the best in the world). For some reason, the scene on the terrace with Stallone and his niece reminds me that day and I just can't stop crying. POWERFUL SCENE!

  • I understand the compulsion to trash all remakes, but this one is good enought for Michael Caine to endorse.

  • Even tough guys have feelings.

  • Such an underrated movie

  • does aqnyone know what that song at the end of this video is? ive wondered since the movie came out lol anyone plz

  • I think it is even better than the original.

  • Stallone is still the shit

  • I loved him in the Demolition Man, Cliffhanger, the Rockly movies, Tango & Cash, and more.

  • i think payback is better

  • stallone acts with heart always been underrated go watch copland tell me hes not awesome

  • Can you believe they cast Stallone as a Michael Caine character??? Good as Rambo but come on boys what the fuck were you thinking. Junk.

  • Caine was apparently supportive of Stallone (an old castmate from Victory) in the title role.

I loved this film...lot of relevant issues covered and the fikmmakers hit the Seattle scene pretty well.

  • where is the rest of the movie?

  • WHAM!! "Nobody likes the list guy."

Such a GREAT, under-appreciated flick; I really don't know why so many people crap on this movie.

  • if you dont compere this to the original, it IS a good movie

  • I would not think it competes...it's just different. I liked it; more of a cult classic, really.

  • MASSIVELY UNDERRATED! Beautiful opening credits, and Mickey is BIGGER THAN LIFE as usual.

  • @Brookdale66 I think it is nowhere as good as the original but then I am British - and from Newcastle so I suppose that is to be expected.

  • i think dis is a well gd film. s

  • Man, I agree. This is an underrated flick. Big time.

Michael Caine thought Stallone made a great "Carter."

I think Carter's tough-guy persona makes this scene powerful, and everything he does after it full of emotion.

  • Yes the big difference between the 2 movies is that in the first Michael Caine's tough guy character is still very understated- and that is what creates such a tension- the feeling of anger welling up.

Sylvester is more in-your-face super tough guy and that is what spoils it.

  • Carter is Caine, and only Caine. Enough said.

  • "You killed yourself"

Classic Stallone. Greatest fucking actor ever.

  • love this movie and the orginal.!!!!

  • i wounder what made michael caine want 2to be involved in the remake? The fil is utter bollocks compared 2 the 1st one.

  • Utter Shite..long live the original this crap should never be remembered...

  • It is a remake of a British 1971 film also called Get Carter starring Michael Caine. Caine joint produced the 1971 film which was heavily influenced by the 1967 Lee Marvin film Point Blank.

Stallones film in comparison is a load of crap.

  • What is this movie about anyway?I saw it one time but I didn't really pay attetion to it.

  • The original is far better than this

  • The scene in the Stallone(2000) version, where he is watching the CD of his niece getting raped; towards the end of that scene, just before he drives off, theres a very catchy tune.Sounds like its in Portuguese, or some African tongue or smthg. If anyone knows what the hell Im talking about, plz tell me the name of that song. Would be grateful. Thx. Great movie. The original isnt too shabby either!

  • Delerium - enchanted

That's the tune you talkin about !

  • Thanks man!

  • @Anisson

    Delerium - Enchanted.

After 2 years i have answer for you

  • dont watch it, its shit. watch the original.

  • I agree. Why try to remake a classic film? This is absolute shite. Watch the original.

  • sTALLONE IS wonderfullllll

  • One of the best Scenes in Sly's Films overall

    Outstanding acting , high emotions...

    Long Live Sylvester Stallone

  • WE do make mistakes, and fall down, this movie WAS amazing its jus my opinion but this SPEECH could not be written any better. GOOD JOB 2 THUMBS UP!!!

  • watched this movie the last week at work

my names jack carter.......and you don't want to know me..

  • Nah I have both on DVD, they are both awesome cunt!

  • Original is FAR FAR better. This remake is a POS tbf. Go watch the original.

  • you killed yourself LOL

  • I recently bought the DVD of this movie but haven't had a chance to watch it yet, but after seeing this clip I want to go watch it right away.

  • "Get Carter" was a remake of the old "Get Carter" wherein Michael Cain plays Jack Carter. I believe the remake was a good remake; it was different and not just a "carbon copy" of the past flick. And Cain was in it too. So it really was a good flick. Herc T.

  • even though it was panned it is a good movie overall. stallone delivers that speech well.

  • Everybody gave the remake a bad rap because Stallone was in it. But the truth it...it has plot. Forget the "flash photography". There is plot here and good acting. It's good to see Sly and Rourke together. And it is a remake, but not a clone. So it is different. I've lived the night life and this film catches it right to the "T". Herc T.

  • remake of what?

  • prefer the 71 original

  • can anyone possibly get the movie on youtube?

if they can that would awesome.

    thanks.

  • Three Excellent Videos from ResidentBourne, the Rourke Stallone fight scene; the end scene of Get Carter and the Elevator scene were removed from You Tube? Why? They were awesome! ResidentBourne does a good job keeping it real and it keeps being taken out. C'mon guys. Leave the guy alone. I loved watching the end Scene and the fight between Stallone and Rourke, as well as the elevator fight. Post it again man! Herc T.

  • i know this movie cool thanx 4 watching this 5/5
