Funny how Eddie,god bless him,randomly runs in,does his little saumersault in the ring and gets a running powerbomb for his troubles,before waddling back out embaressed!

This is a great game,the moves look so much better and impactful then they do even with in the SVR games to this day.This engine plus modern day graphics...would be one hell of a game.

all the games - World Tour, Revenge, 2000, Mercy - All kick the ass out of the modern games. People need to petition for this to come back in some form. Why it cant be used for a modern wrestling game?! i just dont get it. Emulation is not enough, how can games get worse with time!

But the other 3, yeah. Unbelievably awesome games.

I think Raw 2 for the X Box was a great game aswell. But that was mainly for the customization available to the player.

As far as the modern wrestling games goes, I personally don't think its that their bad games, I enjoy playing them aswell as the old N64 games, their just not as good as No Mercy lol

really you can't compare cuz both games were made by THQ. And by the time No Mercy debuted there were better advancements in gaming. THQ makes the best wrestling games period. When WCW contracted them to make the WCW vs. NWO games they were top notch. When THQ left WCW and sided with WWF/E, WCW's games became lack luster. WWE games are the best right now not because of Vince, but because of THQ. Whoever works with them gets the best wrestling game that year

At some points. The reversals and counters in this game are better. I hated No Mercy for the punching counters all the time... but you can grapple an opponent while running to perform a bulldog or a ddt so that's better...but...WCW has a greater roster cause' they have high flying action cruiserweights!
