I have bought my Indian ringneck today for my birthday im Sad that yours passed away. Mines 6 weeks old but do you know when you can stop feeding that soft baby food because hè reject it always.
He was 8 months when he got sick and passed away. Yes they are easy to hand feed, the food is called Exact and you just follow the instructions, and feed them. I loved doing it. Kinda miss it. :(
I know what you mean i lost my two ringnecks to an illness too :/ one was dead in the morning and the other one died in my hand on the way to the vet. We were only a block away :( i was really sad the whole way back home
Yup I sure know how you feel. I still think of him everday and it makes me sad. He was a great bird, and didn't deserve to go through a severe sickness. Having raised him since he was 4 weeks makes it even harder :( I want to get another ringneck but it won't be the same, nor the same experience as with my Poncho. I am sorry to hear about your two ringnecks passing away. Are you going to get other ones?
Well Poncho had a severe illness, and couldn't get better so I had to choose to put him to sleep. It seriously hurt me, he was my baby, I still love him, and wish that I knew what got him so sick as to die from it. Before I took him to the vet he couldn't walk, or eat, had no balance. :( He was 8 months when he passed away. I miss him so bad everyday. It is like a nightmare. :(
Yes they are easy to hand feed, but they cry a lot for food. I bought him at 4 weeks and now he's 9 weeks. He's growing so fast. I love him. They are a good choice of a bird. Mine is already attached to me, anytime i put him in the cage he wants to come back out. And he always follows me and climbs up my leg to my shoulder. I love him so much, he was a great choice. Let me know how it goes when you get one? What color do you want? I wanted a bright blue, but they are hard to find,
how many times a day you have to feed one baby with 25 days?
