You forgot that ALL prices include the tax that the seller bears. It is definitely passed on to the consumer.

So, sales tax on top of the federal income and state income taxes that need to be covered.

most people know that democracy leads to cultural anarchy, uncontroled inflation, mass poverty, and societal collaps, if ron paul bans inflation on products crucial to human existence such as housing, transportation, and food goods and bans them off of the stockmarket and makes tax free property ownership a constitutionalised human right, hes very likely 2 win many hearts and peoples trust.

Yes Ron Paul, Ron Paul, I used to be a hardcore Ron Paul fan but then i realized how long has he been in Congress? And how much change has he made for someone that's been in congress for half of their life you'd think they'd of done more. I do not question that he is working hard, I can see that he is. My question is who is he working for. Notice how he does the free masons sign all the time. He gets so much financial support from people like myself that want change.  Where is it?

Wow this guy obviously thinks we're all stupid. There are ways around almost all of these taxes. Additionally inflation has totalled about 200 percent not 600 since 1971, income has gone up 100%. Expenses for companies have gone up significantly. Real estate prices are up almost 800%, gas prices are up 500% This is paranoia

In response to your notions on inflation houie925. This is the fundamental error people make;it's not the "expenses for companies", or "real estate prices" that go up! It's incorrect to think this. Rather, it's the value of the dollar that goes DOWN! Until u get this concept, You'll never understand these arguments against inflation...

And the reason is NOT 'cause prices went up since 1971, it's 'cuase that dollar in ur pocket is weaker than ur parents dolar was. That's not an accident. That's the strategy the Fed. Reserve utilizes.
