Kerr is just in bad shape now, which is a real shame. He was one of my favourites. He's years younger than me and looks 10 years older. Look at Couture at 46 - or Coleman.
Not really. You can still keep a good shape when you stop taking roids, tho not at the same "size" as you had before. If you keep training hard you'll keep the body shape. If you stop training and just eat, anybody would get fat. This is not a steroid problem
But you get results easier, so naturally if you remove them you would have to work harder to achieve that size, strength and recovery ability.
It isn't some direct side effect of steroids, its a side effect of their absence during training and diet. Plus when a guy gets as massive as he was and lets himself go, it's gonna be a sloppy mess, steroids or no steroids.
@standtall67 I wouldn't quite attribute it to roids only. I'd say this is what happens when you take roids, motivation, and happiness away from kerr and replace it with injuries, divorce, financial problems and older age.

While I would love to see an in-shape and dominant Mark Kerr, I just hope that he's living clean. The documentary really showed what a thoughtful and intelligent person he is, so I just hope he's staying clean. Not really. You can still keep a good shape when you stop taking roids, tho not at the same "size" as you had before. If you keep training hard you'll keep the body shape. If you stop training and just eat, anybody would get fat. This is not a steroid problem

But you get results easier, so naturally if you remove them you would have to work harder to achieve that size, strength and recovery ability.
It isn't some direct side effect of steroids, its a side effect of their absence during training and diet. Plus when a guy gets as massive as he was and lets himself go, it's gonna be a sloppy mess, steroids or no steroids.

While I would love to see an in-shape and dominant Mark Kerr, I just hope that he's living clean. The documentary really showed what a thoughtful and intelligent person he is, so I just hope he's staying clean. Considering what we saw in the film, he's very lucky to be alive and that's definitely what counts.

Holy fuck, i can´t believe how fat Mark Kerr is, he used to be a fucking great fighter and had he was all about muscles and fitness and now a slow and fat dude, he´s only 40 years (not too old and could be in great shape) but i think that he must to hand his gloves and stop to fighting. for me i feel in this mach up both were not in form.
the word cardio, was used in the video a few times, and for me i feel that was a problem here,a good mat skilled guy would have ended this match pretty quick., after bringing either of these guys down.
