Hey girls, while doing the HIIT workout I do a warm-up and then walk at a 3.5 mph pace for two minutes, run very hard at a 8 mph and an incline for one minute. After the hard interval I am completely out of breath and my heart rate is really high. My question is... during the slow cool down (two minutes) is your heart rate supposed to come all the way down? Like stopping right after the hard interval? What is the best for weight loss? Thanks so so much!
@StaciaElizabethD your 'recovery heart rate' will improve!!! just listen to your body first... so don't push it too hard. the best for fat loss is to push your body into that anaerobic threshold and come back down... soon that threshold will improve and you'll be a fat burning machine!

@marlenebrooke We do while we film, but typically not other times. It really depends on your skin type if you can or not. Some people have more sensitive skin and wearing makeup while working out would cause breakouts.
