I see what you're saying. Like Ric Flair used to say, "in order to be the man, you got to beat the man!" Jones needs to clean out the LHW division before he can be considered a legitimate P4P king. Personally, I think he will destroy Rashad. I agree that both Rampage and Machida will present some interesting challenges for him that he's never faced, but in the end he will be victorious over both. This kid is just too long, too talented, and too athletic for these fighters in that division.
Jones seemed tired in round 2 as well, but all respect to Shogun he's a great fighter, but Jones just decimated him, and in my opinion that proves da hype. Shogun is one of the great LHW, and he ran through him like a train, that to me secures your status as a great. With respect to Rashad, I really don't think he offers anything Jones can't handle. he's a good wrestler, so i sJones, his submission game it better than Rashad, his standup game is better as well
@inhumanhyena Rampage is tough but he isn't unbreakable, we've seen him get finished by Rua and Wanderlei, and Lyoto was close if he was just a bit more aggressive. I don't see him dominating Rampage because of Rampage's power and wrestling, however, what else does Rampage offer from a technical perspective? If Rashad could hold him down, I think Jones can. Lyoto is the best challenge for Jones, though they are 2 of my favorites and it would be hard for me to watch. Regardless, Bone's proved
@ufcevents1 jon jones is my favorite fighter so im happy hes champ... the main person i wanna see him fight is machida, but how do you think not right now but in a few years, how do you think someone like phil davis would fare against jon bones?
in the UFC126 post-fight interview Jones said he stuck to the game plan set by his camp to beat Bader, he didn't try any fancy moves not because he couldn't, he was playing safe and getting the win to launch him to the next level....which was a title fight....he kept on saying the Bader fight was a stepping stone to the "next level". Against Shogun who his 1 of the best strikers in the UFC, he let rip with all these moves I've only seen work on video games.
I cannot wait for faber vs cruz! Who's your pick for that? O and Dana said after the fight that is was the last time we would see cro cop fight, which is the right decision I think, I dont want to see a legend like cro cop get beat by people like schaub especially knocked out.
it was a bad feeling but it was good to see that he took the punishment like a champ and was still caunscience when he was down so he has heart and chin so next time hell be back with conditioning and will do good like when he lost to griffin
@jappanese Mike Tyson was not a legend just because he won the title at age 20, but how dominated all challengers in the coming years. If he beats Rashad Evans (which he should) and then wins over Rampage and Machida then the Hype Is Real. No its just a hype, so chill on the grill // Hoffa
@ufcevents1 hope he wins over rashad, i mean unless rashad has figured out a huge hole in jons game. dont really like rashads way of fighting, to much focus on only winning/not losing - my impression atleast. and as i see it rashad doesnt have anything that will challange jon more than any of his last fights have. i mean he has fought a bunch of guys with the same style as rashad alread , by that i mean wrestling and boxing. i think that to beat jon you need some1 like alexander gustafsson
@jappanese Oh so you think that the big Swede has a chance agains Jons... How do think he would win or what do think has too do? Too bad for Alexander Gustafsson that Jon Jons is the champ and that LHW division so deep ;) Though he is very promising and if he puts on some muscle mass and gets a better ground game. // Hoffa
@ufcevents1 i mean, he has the size to compete with jon first of all, and i believe that his boxing skill is a huge factor. cause as we saw in the shogun fight, jon doesnt really box compared to alexander. and alexander has been boxing since he was around 11 i think. but i think the major factor is the size equality between them, sure no1 can compete with jons reach, but i dont think reach matters that much when youre about the same size hightwize.
@jappanese and as we saw in the phil davis fight, alexander doesnt get tossed around that easily. + as jon, alexander obviously also evoloves as time goes by.
@ufcevents1 Shogun was out for 1 year, and had a knee surgery. That wasnt the shogun that faught machida.Plus Jon Jones kicked him in the knee like a fucking pussy. I couldn't even believe that shit. Its legal but whatever still gay. Im not a fan of Jon Jones his attitude is rediculous, I hate to say it but if anyone thinks the hype is real. They also thought the hype behind forest Griffen was real. Lets not forget even Forest Griffen can beat an injured shogun.
@lukethebigmanking Interesting that you wrote exactly what I should do a video on tomorrow. I will also talk about fighters that meet their training mates // Hoffa
im getting annoyed by all the people saying jones is cocky and disrespectfull, from what ive seen he just believes in himself - i mean afaik he hasnt been really intentionally disrespectfull to any fighter, i mean the deal with him signing his autograph with "champ 2011" it wasnt againt shogun, it was just that he believed that he would become champ and that just made him beleive in himself more. to each his own. and the ppl hating on him is getting old tbh.
@jappanese still tho, that doesn't give jones the right to do that! sure what your saying is true but there is a certain point where you have to keep your emotions, persoanl opinions and beliefs to yourself. and i feel jones crossed that line and that was disrespectful.

I like your videos. You seem like one of the very few knowledgable mma fans who do videos on youtube. Good job

Bones wrecked Shogun worst than he did Bader or even Bonnar.
