I couldn't watch this without crying the first few times when I shared it with my family. What a horrible, horrible war. Such a waste of life. Thanks for posting this video. I am curious about the crucifix at 3:54. I've never seen it. Can you tell me where it is located? Thanks.
@HeadlightGlasses That would be from a sculpture park in Moscow Russia, I photographed it when I was there back in 2008. I think it's supposed to represent how working people are crucified by the modern industrial system - which includes serving as cannon fodder in its many wars.
This is the best version of Waltzing Matilda ever sung and describes the inhumanity of man down to a T. Brilliantly sung Shane mo chara.

The battle scenes appear to be from the 1981 movie Gallipoli starring the young Mel Gibson.

Tx to Daniel McAdams @LRCBlog, who pointed me to this video, my Armistice Day is ending with a bit of truth, after hours of nauseating lies.

It's been years since I've heard this moving song. And I find it even more moving now in light of the past ten years of useless bloodshed.
To hell with war, and to hell with all warmongers!
