In Texas we have a 51% law. If total sales are 51% or more due to alcohol sales...then no gun. Anything less, you can carry unless a 30.06 sign is posted.
Maybe the judge was right: because, somebody done somebody wrong an' we should just give up our gun rights because something bad might happen t'someone, somewhere, . . .

You should be able to carry any where. But you need to use common sense about it. If your going into a bar and plan to be drinking then No YOU shouldn't be carrying. You should be able to carry any where. But you need to use common sense about it. If your going into a bar and plan to be drinking then No YOU shouldn't be carrying. But if your just going to hang out with friends or you work there, you should have the right to defend your self. Only people that have shown proof that they have been trained more then just the CCW class should be able to carry. Just cause you can buy a gun does not mean you have the mind set to be able to handle that gun.

This judge is currently review and investigation by the US Government for abuse of judicial power. She may soon be out of a job. This decision has NOTHING to do with this woman's husband death. Laws are for law-abiding people and those who aren't will still carry in bars, etc,. Give it up.

There are stupid laws all over the place. My home state has some off-limits places for carrying that don't make sense. So I carry anyway. I'd rather be arrested than dead because I'm in a "gun-free" (read: target-rich) environment.
