Thank you I just moved Chrome from C:\ it was to little storage and it worked but my question is can i do this with every application?

@Yeti933 It is a operating system level thing, it has nothing to do with applications. Any app that looks in a certain directory can use this "trick"... some others things I use it for is installing steam games individually on different hard drives, or when running a game then going to it default save locations and moving them into dropbox for automatic save game backup, or changing OS temp folders to quarantined locations for more security and easy of cleaning.
