  • Ugh, FF7 wasn't that great of a game to deserve number 1...

  • My aunt that didn't know ANYTHING about video games bought me Star ocean: The second story for christmas. I love her long time. <3 lol You lost me at Super Mario RPG. The rest of your game choices sucked balls IMO except Chrono Trigger that game is epic. Not to say your oppinion doesn't count. I just prefer different titles. Everyone's top 10 is different.

  • i played legend of mana to gameboy accualy have it next to me now:D

  • You idiot what about the elder scrolls

  • *Cough*morrowind*cough* is the best

  • Your list should be called rpgs before playstation 2 era!

  • I honestly believe tales of symphonia for Gamecube is one of the best rpgs ever

..nobody really played it cuz everyone had a ps2

  • What are the individual songs? =D

  • I couldn't agree more with the top three. No really, I'm so happy I'm not sure what to say.

  • My local game store has the top three Earthbound for $100 Chrono Trigger for $60

    And FFVI for $50

  • I'd have to agree with your opinion on KOTOR II. It truly was a fascinating game. To complain about the visuals and bugs is trivial considering that someone else had to come in, learn how the first game worked, and make a sequel to it with a smaller window of time. The only real problem with it is that it doesn't tie everything up at the end; or it tries to, but it doesn't work real well, at all. Where KOTOR was flawless, the ending was the only true flaw to KOTOR II. What potential it had...

  • earthbound could be one of the best rpg of all time if it will have another battle system i really hate front battle system

  • Nice list...

    DAGGERFALL!!!

  • The original Suikoden was also fantastic. FF Tactics was spectacular in story and gameplay. Where I disagree with you is on KOTOR 2, as I feel the first game was superior and less buggy. The 2nd game's only improvement was the party member interaction (which was excellent). I'd toss in Fallout, Planescape: Torment, Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines, and Baldur's Gate 2 for good measure. Dragon Age and Mass Effect 2 also, for their choices and awesome party members.

  • @arkainjalex12 My KOTOR2 experience wasn't all that buggy (just one really bad one), although I've heard of other folks having more problems than I did. I rate KOTOR2 higher than the first game because it's a much deeper and more contemplative experience. KOTOR is a polished adventure title that builds to a big finish, but there are a lot of good RPGs like that, and so its only real claim to fame is that it was the first WRPG to truly succeed on a console. KOTOR2 means a lot more to me.

  • @arkainjalex In what might be another unpopular opinion, I actually prefer the original Mass Effect to the sequel, though it took me a while to realize it. ME2 took away the feeling of freedom and exploration that I relished from the original (fewer open spaces, the stronger cover shooter element, the plot and Illusive Man forcing you forward, no equipment to tinker with, no Mako). ME2 felt a bit too linear and maybe tries too hard at being cinematic. It's still good, of course.

  • @arkainjalex I liked VTM:B a lot. It's almost great, but not quite "one of the best RPGs ever" material for me. Planescape: Torment has superb writing, and the setup is interesting, but the combat is terrible. One of the best stories, but because I didn't like the combat, it doesn't crack my top faves. BGII I could never get into, partly because it uses the same combat system as Torment, and partly because the art style and setting is so bland. I haven't played Dragon Age.

  • @megavolt67 Since KOTOR2 is way underrated, I'll add that it has a better soundtrack, a darker and more interesting mood, it lets you play a Jedi right away, it has the prestige classes, it has more skills, and it has way more customization options. What KOTOR has over it is that the environment variety is better, it has a more epic finale, and overall it's more polished. Polish isn't everything, however. FFVI is buggier than FFX, but it's better where it matters more (substance).

  • I can agree with some of your choices. I've personally never been a Star Ocean fan, the Valkyrie and Mana series don't impress me either. Even Xenosaga was bland for my tastes (Xenosaga was pretty awesome though). I wholeheartedly agree with FF6, Chrono Trigger, and Super Mario RPG being on the list, they are/were epic. Period. FF7 is also great though...hell, I even like FF8. Earthbound is also cool. Secret of Evermore is interesting. I love the Shining Force series (2 is phenomenal).

  • Hah whats with the pokemon soundtrack going on in the background

  • I cannot argue with your nb 1

  • i love the way everyone refuses to put ff7 in their list because people feel it is too overrated but surely it got the fame it did because it's great i wouldn't say its my favourite rpg but deffinately deserves an appearence

  • @Krunge333 Even though I couldn't resist the joke, know that I have much respect for FF7 as a gaming experience. It's the reason that I got a Playstation way back when and I had a lot of fun with it. I just never thought it was such an unprecedented masterpiece that it should overshadow the great RPGs before and after. If it matters, I'm someone who had already experienced many of the great SNES RPGs before FF7 was released. So I'm not one of those who deems it overrated by "looking back".

  • @megavolt67 fair play just saying FF7 deserves a place in best rpg's of all time, but hey this is your top ten so it's cool and thank you for explaining why, most people wouldn't : )

  • @Krunge333 I suspect that most people still would (FF7 remains the most popular FF game as far as I know), but then maybe there are a lot of old dogs like myself posting lists. There ARE people who are unfairly criticial of the game, and they may go as far as to call it average or mediocre, so I understand the frustration. That's why I went ahead and explained myself. For me, FF4 through 7 was the peak of the FF series. I like 12 a lot as well, but that's not such a popular opinion, lol.

  • @megavolt67 haha i wasn't a big fan of 12 it was just vaan (i think thats his name haha) i just didn't like his character my personal favourite was ffx i think the character development was amazing

  • @megavolt67 i would replace SMRPG with Paper Mario just because it was one of my little KId hood games and the first game that made me stay up all night.

  • great list mine would be 10 fallout 3 9 kingdom hearts birth by sleep (2 is close but having 3 playable characters is pretty awesome) 8 valkyrie chronicles 7 world ends with you 6 dark cloud 5 dragon warrior 4 suikoden 2 (only bad thign about it is its price) 3 chrono cross (i always prefered it to rigger idk if its thta i played cross first or what both are excellent) 2 grandia 1 final fantasy 6 (4 and 9 are the two closest ffs to 6 for me but 6 is the best by far)
  • Love the video. =] I love your in depth opinions about the games. Instead of just saying: " This game ROCKS!", you included some really intellectual and specific background information to the game and combined that with very informed opinions. Major like. =]

  • Would have been better to show clips of the games rather than generic walls of text.

  • heres my favs not in order Chrono trigger FF8 FF7 FF6 Breath of fire 2 Suikoden 2 xenogears secret of evermore legend of mana one of the grandias was rly good dont remember wich super mario rpg lufia 2 illusion of gaia lunar silver star story (short but rly good) lunar 2 not sure of order its hard to say but without a doubt i think Chrono trigger is the best of all time
  • Comment removed

  • forgot FF7 and breath of fire 2 and suikoden 2 all three deserve to be in anyones top 10

  • Perfect list! I especially like the first two and SUper Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars.

  • have u played pokemon?its awesome!u should give it a try if u havent yet>..

  • Final Fantasy 6? The box says FF3.

  • @Nickj109 its 3 in america in japan its 6 a few ffs weren't released in america or something

  • Comment removed

  • good list until final fantasy 7 ruined it.

  • @nineinchnailz069 He was joking. FF 7 isn't on the list.

  • GOD YES! Earthbound and FFVI were THE GREATEST RPG's I've EVER PLAYED!

    5. FF9

I've been hearing a lot of good things about Grandia. Too bad I missed out on that one.

  • Nice to see some love for DQ8. A great RPG.

I'm always amazed by the absolute lack of Phantasy Star games on these lists. I can only imagine that most of these people didn't own a Genesis. 4 in particular was one of the greatest RPG's ever conceived, IMHO.

  • I updated and changed my list a bit: 1.Final Fantasy VI 2.Shining In The Darkness 3.Zelda: Ocarina Of Time 4.Mother 3 5.Chrono Trigger 6.Diablo 7.Pokemon Crystal 8.Landstalker 9.Dragon Quest V 10.Phantasy Star III
  • @marth231 WHAT NO CHRONO TRIGGER

  • final fantasy 3 for snes was the FIRST RPg that got me into all rpgs.. it opened the doors to many rpgs that i enjoyed many years!!.. FF 6 or 3 as it was known had me glued to the characters personalities. i loved the development in them

  • umm wat about oblivion and diablo?!?!

  • I only have a top 5 games for now (I just haven't been able to play a wide variety of them yet):

    1. Final Fantasy VII

    2. Chrono Trigger

    5. Final Fantasy IX

  • Comment removed

  • Diablo II Lod best rpg of all time !

  • 4. Any Pokemon Game (gb/gba)

    3. Fable 2

    2. Oblivion

    1. Fallout 3

do they still make any of the ff games?

i'm missing out on my childhood. i haven't been to disney either.

  • I have to agree with your Kotor 2 statement. I loved the first one, but the second was just more interesting to me. It was darker and less cut and dry(although I do like cut and dry,) The problem with Kotor 2 was that nearly 1/3 of its material was cut or left out of the final release. Luckily for those of you who are interested in those mods, just type Kotor 2 restoration mods and you'll find the. If Kotor 2 were completed I believe it would have blown kotor 1 away in terms of story alone.

  • Unlike most people, I have to say that while I loved Final Fantasy VI, it's probably one of my least favourite FF games. I really liked the characters and storyline, but I just thought there were too many. Storyline wise it means that some of them are under developed, or only get a little bit of development and we never hear from them again. I prefer stories that focus on just a few characters as there's more room for development. Secondly it was just too hard to look after all of them.

  • I think the maximum number of main characters you should have in an RPG is 7. Any more and it starts to get a bit crowded. I'm not here to argue with anybody. I'm just expressing my opinion. It's still a great game and I definitely recommend it.

  • sometimes seven can be too many. IMO, there should be 4 or 5 main ones, with some other reaccurring ones that get a good bit of char. develeopment.

  • I agree, there were too many I just did not care about, like the beast kid, the card user, the moogle, the yeti. I'm not some callous douchbag, so I sometimes wonder why they were even put into the game to begin with.

  • Yeah, sometimes more is less. I think there were only 6 characters that were truly necessary to the plot and those were all the initial ones you get(except Gau). But still, I like how the final dungeon makes you use all of them, which is really cool because it's like an epic final assault.

  • nicely done my would be a little different but thats to be expected but your #1 i agree with others as well but i just got done beating chrono trigger and that game is on FF6's heels for the best, but you should play skies of arcadia legends if you havent cuz i absolutely love that game

  • 5.oblivion

    4.kotor 2

    3.chono trigger

    2.ff 10

    1.ff 7

  • VERY solid top ten. perhaps the best top ten video of anything i've seen on youtube. i haven't played all of the games on your list, but i trust your opinion based on the ones that are on there that i have played. my personal favorite game (not just rpg) of all time is SMRPG.

  • wow this is the first non-biased polished top 10 RPG list I've seen good job, high 5

  • my top ten 10 Emreld Dragon 9 Terraginma 8 Secret of mana 7 Final Fantasy III 6 Seiken Densetsu III 5 Fire Emblem II 4 Fire Emblem IV Seisen No Kenfu 3 Mother II 2 Final Fantasy VI 1 Chrno Trigger
  • OMG I love you so much, ur top 10 is EXACTLY what mine would of been lol. Nice Twist at the end :D

  • What the hell? Why didn't you put FF7 in there? It's freakin awsome! To me, it's the best of the entire FF series!

  • my top 5

    5.fable 2

    4.kotor

    3.morrorwind

    2.fallout 3

    1.oblivion

  • Jesus christ if i wanted to see JAPANESE ROLE PLAY GAMES, i would write it out, Best JRPGS of all time , BUT i HATE THEM, i seriously do, some people like them, i don't, but go a head play what you want, but atleast label the videos correctly

  • Japan Makes the best RPGS so making a list os the top ten rpgs without JRPGS in the list RPGS are a product aimed at gamer who are not lazy

  • While I don't understand your frustration, Megavolt67 did have Deus Ex and KOTOR 2 in the list while Fallout and System Shock 2 were honorable mentions, so that count's for something.

  • grandia 2 is pretty beast-mode and no love for any old school phantasy star harsh!!

  • my top 5

    5-dragon quest 8

    4-crono cross

    3-final fantasy 7

    2-Earthbound

    1-fallout 3 LOL... FINAL FANTASY 10

  • FF 10 dude thats one of the worst ones well for the time

  • the best rpgs of all time are

    5.Earthbound

    4.fallout 2

    3.fallout 1

    2.Neverwinter nights 1 & 2

    1.Pirates of the carribean

  • ive gotta add my five ive been playing since nintendo days.

    5. breath of fire

    4.secret of mana

    3. final fantasy 3

    2. morrowind

    1.final fantasy 2

  • mine 5 are

    5. Morrowind

    4. Fable 2

    3. Fable

    2. Fallout 3

    1. Oblivion

And Fallout 3 isnt a FPS it has lots of RPG elements and has 3rd person so no bitchy bitch

  • Why all of the modern games? They weren't even good... The fable games were old news after you beat it, morrowind and oblivion were extremely repetitive and boring and so was fallout 3

  • morrowind and obliion wernt repetitive but fallout 3 is just a fps remake of fallout set in washington DC

  • dude! do you only do the main guest on those gamescase they have so many more quests and items that you can get!

  • The RPGs you picked aren't real RPGs. More like platformers

  • I understand ppl have their take on what are the best rpgs of all time but I see alot of ppl saying "Fallout 3" or "Zelda series". Fallout 3 is not an rpg, its a FPS w/rpg elements and though it may contain those rpg elements it certainly doesnt fall enough into the rpg catagory to be considered one of the best rpgs of all time. Zelda is NOT an rpg either, its an action adventure game and has always been lised as just that.

  • Actually, FO3 is more of an RPG than an FPS. The heavy RPG elements and the limp gunplay are proof that Bethesda wasn't going for a full-on FPS.

I will agree that Zelda isn't an RPG, but it most certainly has RPG elements.

  • Well I was just talking to someone about this the other day. I'm a bit of an old school gamer, and this all depends on what you define an rpg as. To me an rpg(video game) will always be defined by its original meaning. Which is a game that mimics the old pencil & paper games like D&D. Fallout 1 & 2 are both rpgs in my book but Fallout 3 falls away from that definition. Zelda is not an rpg by any means.

  • my fav's are 1. secrets of evemore 2. super mario RPG 3. tales of symphonia 4. tales of vesperia 5.luminous arc 2 6. luminous arc 1 7. dragon warriors 2 8. fire emblem sacred stones 9. kingdom hearts 10. valkyrie profile covenant of the plume and that is my top 10 RPG's
  • I agree Final Fantasy VI is my favorite all-time RPG. It was the first RPG I played. I especially liked how each character had unique skills and interesting backgrounds.

  • 1. Chrono Trigger

2.Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

    3.Secret of Mana

    4.Mother 3

    5.Final Fantasy 7

    6.Valkyrie Profile

    7.Pokemon Gold

8.Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time

    9.Oblivion

    10.Star Ocean: The Second Story

  • I'd like to join in on the shenanigans: 1.Mother 3 2.Mother 2/ Earthbound 3.Chrono Trigger 4.Persona 3 5.Persona 4 6.Final Fantasy VII 7.Final Fantasy 3 8. Secret of Mana 9. Super Mario RPG 10. Paper Mario
  • 1. Final Fantasy 9

    2. Chrono Trigger

    3. Lunar

    4. Super Mario RPG

    5. Arc the Lad

    6. Final Fantasy 6

    7. Paper Mario 64

    8. Final Fantasy 3

    9. Final Fantasy 2

    10. Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga

  • Nice. Here are my Top Ten: 1.Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne 2.Shining the Holy Ark 3.Skies of Arcadia Legends 4.Final Fantasy VII 5.Shadowrun 6.Final Fantasy VI 7.Secret of Evermore 8.Super Mario RPG 9.Earthbound 10.Legend of Legaia
  • Out of them all I love Mario RPG the most! There's a sense of charm that game has that I've never seen in any other RPG!

  • Secret of Evermore is my favorit game of all time

  • I agree with you on your number 1 pick.

Hands-down, FF6 is both THE most memorable as well as THE most well developed of the entire FF series. Memorable characters; the long, in-depth, and yet, easy to understand story line; awesome music.

It was THE best RPG, ever!

  • Oh, and spot on with your #1. FF III is probably my all-time fave RPG, too. Such an incredible game. I was a teenager when FF made the transition to the Playstation, but the games just weren't the same for me after 3. I feel like it just proves that graphics aren't everything, especially with RPGs. I miss the vibrant sprites and gorgeous yet simple graphics of the old games...

  • I never even heard of Star Ocean. Sounds rad. I def wouldn't have included Legend of Mana on my own top 10 list. I thought that game was a massive let down compared to the Mana titles on the SNES and Gameboy (FF Adventure which was the original Holy Sword Legend game).

  • Chrono Trigger is my favorite rpg game of all time... but all this games in this list are amazing!!! Now I'm gonna play some of them

  • Is pokemon considered an rpg?

  • Yes, and it was amazing because there was such a huge variety of creatures to make a team out of, and many moveset selections for all of them. Sadly though, a lot of people look down on it as a kids game.

  • hell yes, FF6 was completely amazing its also my favorite rpg ever and i've played many a rpg

  • dude are you sure you played final fantasy 7

cause i played ff 3 and i still prefered ff7 there are a lot more elements and stuff in ff7 including the best plot ever

  • no, he just used that as a background image, dont know why though. he said ff6

  • Hmmm interesting list but most those games suck:P Fallout 3,Morrowind, and Oblivion should of taken the first 3 places. Oh and the first kotor was better then kotor 2.

  • dude its his opinion not yours

  • Baconbits32......i understand that everyone has their own opinion but you show your huge lack of depth when you pick 3 Bethesda games as 1 2 and 3. Those are great games but certainly not the 3 best rpgs of all time

  • i love those games too but youve got to be able to open your mind

  • Fallout 3 is NOT an rpg, it's a FPS w/RPG elements, theres a huge difference and although it may contain some rpg elements it certainly doesnt fall enough into the rpg catagory to be considered one of the best rpgs of all time.

  • Ive played games all my life and these are my most fav rpg's.

    1.shenmue

    2.final fantasy 10

3.legend of zelda ocarina of time

  • Final Fanstasy games is made so bad

  • lol earthbound is one f*cked up game. don't get me wrong, it was awsome. but with the last boss being a *spoiler* it is just f*cked up.

  • Just a few that are missing.

    Elder Scroll series

    Fallout series

    Neverwinter nights

    Baldur's Gate

    Planescape

  • WTF is with all the people still calling it FF3, its Final Fantasy SIX!!!!! FF3 is on the DS and the Famicon ffs, JESUS FUCKING CHRIST!!!

    But awesome list!

  • i know, people need to learn at least their first 10 roman numerals, right???

  • Wow. Before the #1 come, i was like : "FInal fantasy 3, final fantasy 3 !! .... Duh... final fantasy 7... ;_; "

And then... "OMG, FINAL FANTASY 3"

    This game changed my life.

  • kotor 1 was better than 2

and come the FUCK on! FF6!

The firts Final Fantasy rulez ALL!

  • I'm down to number one. I swear, if you have FFVII down as the number 1 RPG of all time, I'm going to hit you!

  • very impressive list i have all the super nintendo games that you mentioned and those snes games are all in my top 10 rpgs so nice list

  • chronotrigger is my favourite game of all time and im not that big on all those jrpgs

  • Oblivion is awesome, but you're a fuckin idiot. When you can't spell and say faggots, it just makes people think your a fuckin idiotic peice of shit.

I think the best rpg is either mass effect or fallout (the whole series but mostly 1 or 3). I hate jrpgs. They are all the same trash. Chrono Trigger is alright but I hate it. I hate final fantasy 7 a lot. That is just awful.

  • ok, i woudln't be talkin, since you spelled the same that i did, anyway, chill man, haven't played fallout 3, it is probably the same as obliviobn but future

  • You're still a fucking idiot. Don't swear for no reason or else someone like me is gonna call you a fuck because you are.

  • so whats it called when you do it?

  • wow, just...wow

havent played F3? have you been living under a rock? Its not like Oblivion AT ALL

  • it is some what, it was created by the same people

  • You're an idiot. Just because its made by the same people does not mean its the same.

  • well i have to agree with him. it is like oblivion (gameplay) with guns. if you're talking about the story, then they're nothing alike.

  • how can you say that if there arent guns in oblivion, i mean with a sword gameplay is similar, but otherwise

  • no, what i meant was that it was like oblivion except it has guns.

  • .....like fallout 3?

  • I'm glad i stumbled upon this, its nice to see your top 10 rpg's, great job.

  • pretty solid list, i loved all of those games and still have to play a couple

  • everytime i see alltime lists its allways old games just name it top ten old games and everyone knows oblivion is the best rpg ever if you havent played it try it out

  • its good but not best ever

  • I dont know why but I didn't like fallout 3 or even oblivion for that matter. They look like great games but I played them both for a couple hours and I sold them a couple days later. Also fallout isn't quite technically an rpg either. Its like an adventure shooter. rpgs are like final fantasy X where you take turns attaking

  • wow youre a fag. go play halo you fucktard.

  • you need to add zelda at no. 1 and fallout 3 at no. 2 !

and i cant see how dues ex is a rpg? thats like saying halflife is an rpg!

  • um, zelda isn't a rpg. Its an action/adventure game.

  • it plays like an rpg tough? well if its not then the only rpg that i like and have ever liked is fallout 3. ive played a lot of others and there all crap !!

  • Fallout 3? Yeh my ass. If anyone believes that is one of the best RPGs there is, then my friend, good luck finding good games in 5 years.

It is hilarious how newfags believe that new games are the best these days and that the old ones suck ass. Fallout 3 is not a good game, yet it is probably one of the best to come out this year. This is how bad games are. If Van Buren came out, then that would've been gold, but no, instead Bethesda makes a spin-off and destroys the 2 classics, F1 and F2.

  • stop living in the past, man. f3 is a work of art, hundreds of times better than the first 2. or any other rpg for that matter !! ive been playing games for 13 years, and my top 5 games are relativly new!

    1. mgs (1998 - 2008)

    2. Half life (1999 - present)

    3. Fallout 3 (2008)

    4 Loz: twilight princess (2007)

    5 super mario 3 (1989)

except for sm3 there pretty new games considering ive been playing since 1995 ! and to "skyconcurer", there a lots of rpg's that are in real time !

  • ur so fuckin wrong fallout 3 is so much better than 1 n 2 im an oldschool gamer but its just so much better

  • So getting a 9.7 / 10 review and the best game of the year is destroying the 'clasics'? your probly 12. Have been gaming since you were 10 and think that everyones gay because YOUR parents wont buy you an Xbox because YOUR too FAT.

  • That is a very mature and thoughtful comeback you just said there. You proved how much of a dumbass you are with that one comment. You listen to 'gaming journalists' instead of making your own opinions. I am happy you said that, cause you proved that you are both an idiot AND a newfag. Blocked.

  • No. I listen to profesionalls? seems like your the kind of idiot that would try to amputate his on foot instead of going to a doctor. "Gaming Journalists" get paid to do what they do for a reason. Theyre good at it.

  • Yep, you are a newfag, 'gaming journalists' are good for nothing. They are also newfags.

  • Gaming journalists are older than you , bud , mr. 15 year old. Your balls should've grown by now , but i'm guessing they didn't and thats why your messaging me about video games and not hanging out with chicks? or even guys if thats how you roll. Dont bother responding because i wont say anything back . this is a waste of time. you know im right. your just sad & pathetic

  • thanks for NOT including ff7! SERIOUSLY AND SIX TOTALLY ROCKS.

  • haha Tibia? that must be a joke, that game is about grinding to death.. not fun AT ALL!!

has anybody played Torment?? Best of all if you ask me just a lil too weird for you people haha

  • I agree Tiba sucks monkey fuck but Oblivion could be number 10-7 not higher dosent deserve for me it is 8

  • I haven't played Oblivion. I have, however, played Torment. Great story, but the combat brings it down a notch for me.

  • I kinda wanted to see Suikoden II up there. But your list...can't argue with any of them.

  • Grandia deserved a place

  • I haven't played it in a while, but I could've swapped it into the bottom five with ease. I've always considered Grandia to be an all-time favorite and that's why I mentioned it even though it didn't place this time around.

  • 10. Pokemon Red/Blue 9. Final Fantasy IV 8. Star Ocean 2 7. Dragon Warrior Monsters (GB) 6. Final Fantasy 9 5. Final Fantasy VI 4. Xenogears 3. Chrono Trigger 2. Final Fantasy VII 1. Grandia Grandia will always be my fave, but seriously, whats with all the FF 7 hate?
  • I don't 'hate' FFVII. I just thought it would be a good joke since FFVII sometimes gets excessive praise from those for whom it was one of their earliest RPGs. I actually like FFVII and consider it to be a very good RPG. Just not the revolutionary masterpiece that some think of it as.
