He *served me* at the light and through the eyes. No love for the STI. POS gets the attention. (Just like in High School romances..... ;)

You can raise or lower 250 RPM by tapping the RH lever on the steering column. Mine was fairly conservative.

Front mount and kit 300$, stock fuel injectors reflowed to 800cc for 100$, 255 fuel pump 90$, 38mm wastegate 50$ (knock off brand), full exhaust (turboback and uppipe) 300$, tactrix openport 2.0 200$, ARP head studs 150$, and t70 turbo 325$

I've spent 1,400 in my motor and my friend running E85 ran without upgraded internals and fried his pistons. He has spent 4,500 just to get his car to run E85 and we are both equal in the quarter.

E85 for the fail.

And how did E85 have anything to do with his fried pistons? Sounds like a bad tune to me. Of course, you must spray 30-40% more fuel if you're going to use E85 ... you need at minimum larger injectors and a Walbro fuel pump, but you don't need any new pistons, rods, etc... I'm running E85 on stock guts and stock turbo with no issues. Running 12.2 and that's on a very rich tune... no knock at all and the car runs very cool (about 15-20 degrees cooler than on 100 oct).

@coryschenkel Maybe your buddy doesn't know what he is doing... I have been running e85 in my 92 talon and went 10's with a bolt-on turbo, stock intake and street tires. Some people made more power on e85 than c16.. All you need for e85 is a new filter and beef up the fuel system and of course have something to compensate for everything.. 4500 dollars? Wow someone got raped..

Wait you have a running talon? How many times as it taken a crap on you? I'll give you this 4g63 are the fastest 4 cyclinders when running. Unfortunately they never run. I know a local here. 8.86 second talon. Broke a part or more every race day. Two of my friends stock talons broke. I know this girl who just got rid of her talon it broke to much she said.

Oh and have fun on road trips no e85 gas stations anywhere and I know you can switch but you have to burn all of it before you get gas

I don't take my car on road trips and there's plenty of e86 gas stations around here. As for as dsm's breaking down talka bout jumping on the band wagon.. My buddy daily drives his 91 tsi awd that has seen 11's with only a 16g. Another one of my buddy's has a 2ga gsx with a 2.3 stroker with a 35r that made over 600whp and drives it everywhere. These cars are also over 10 years old and 90% of them are abused and a lot of people have no idea what they are doing when it comes to them

The turbo is an Automaster T-60R. It's not rotated. At the time, I had just under 400hp with a TMIC. I have since changed to a FMIC (Front Mount InterCooler) and a stronger tune. We got around 500hp.
