TheCoolDude2222222: Avenged Sevenfold released their first album in 2007, Seize the Day by Carolyn Arends was released in 2000. AS was nice enough to rip off her song title. I personally think Carolyn Arends version is much better, and AS's version sucks. Just an FYI, anyone who has to tell anyone else they are cool, obviously is not.

As a person of varied musical tastes, I first heard this song in the mid 90's on a Canadian station while traveling near Massena N.Y. I was captivated, bet never looked for the song, though I thought of it. When my only brother died in a plane crash in 2001, the song really came to mind. I downloaded it, and I would have to say, because of the message,it is my number one song of all time. Thank you Jesus! Through you all things are possible.

Having been in the radio broadcast industry, since the Earth was still cooling, I've seen alot, some good, some not so great. And I've heard all the comments, from "That was Way Cool Man!" to "That was the Biggest & Cheesiest Religious Pile I've Ever Seen,"...BUT, Arends video interpretation of "SEIZE THE DAY" will surely go down in the Aisle of Christian Art...as a message that beautifully graced the television industry...as a truly stunning piece of creation. My class did this song for a play. It waz hilarious.... our music teacher forgot to put the song on a C.D and she had to play it on the piano. Then At the end of the song she forgot the words. My BFF was the Author.
