I am using an apple remote and a pen - which is in terms of presentations makes the subject come closer to the listeners because the presenter is actually working with the slides.

I for one don't possess one such mouse, but I'd say it should do what you say you'd like it to do.

In case you want just a remote, not a mouse which is also a remote, you can find it from Microsoft, Logitech, Trust, etc.

All Bluetooth devices can be difficult to pair. By comparison, this went smoothly with the included receiver and software. It even works as a non-Blutooth mouse when you use the receiver without installing Intellipoint.

One thing I can't stand is that, after installing Intellipoint for the Bluetooth drivers in Windows Vista, the default behavior for the middle mouse button is Flip-3D, and the scroll increment is set to 1 line...affecting all attached mouses. It can be un-done...but it's a pain.
