Well read Isaiah 49:6, it speaks about servant Israel, even though it is not clearly Israel the nation but it's representative - the messiah. Read it when it says:"It is too small a thing for you to be my servant to restore the tribes of Jacob and bring back those of Israel I have kept. I will also make you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring my salvation to the ends of the earth." You see, it is a man the messiah that was promised. Don't reject your own scriptures. your wrong, this is speaking still about the nation of Israel being a light unto the world. it is used many times in the Bible. Further, the whole chapter 49 fits well with this because it discusses the return from exile, and Jerusalem being rebuilt for the entire nation 49:19. how can jesus be crowded with inhabitants ?

Well then it is about Zion and not the liberating servant of the Lord that is to lead to a covenant between God and his people. He is venting what the holy people are saying (Jacob).
Explain Isaiah 49:5 "he who formed me in the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob back to him and gather Israel to himself". - Do you mean that Jacob will bring Jacob back, what? If anything Cyrus brought you back then, no Jew. It doesn't fit. This can only be through the messiah who surely can be called Israel.

This is Jesus, because there were many prophets in Israel but the only one worth mentioning before it happens is the one spoken of in Isaiah 53, who takes away their transgressions for all time.

Numbers 23:19 states "God is not a man". Anyway, back to Deuteronomy 18:15. Its plainly speaking about Prophets after Moses that the people will need to obey. Clearly indicative of the many prophets to come but mostly Joshua who like Moses was an agent of God. Why would you believe in jesus if he didn't even do the most basic messianic requirement of building the temple? The Bible states, that if fails to build the temple, then he is not the messiah and should be labeled a false prophet.

Where does it say that? If anything it says in Daniel 9:24.27, that the messiah will come before the destrucktion of the second temple. If their is a messiah then has already come and died as stated in Isaiah 53.

"Jesus is not for Jews" has nothing to do with "tradition", it is, in fact, Scriptural. Read the New Testament and believe that rubbish, but you obviously don't know the Jewish Bible. Reading the Jewish Bible with the mindset instilled by the New Testament does not make you knowledgeable about either the Jewish Bible or Judaism...in fact it cripples your ability to understand Judaism. Christianity is fine for non-Jews, but is an incontrovertible violation of the Covenant at Sinai for Jews.

I understand your resistance and even negative reaction to the teachings of Jesus. I have been reading the gospel of John this week and it struck me how much what Jesus taught was attacked and judged by the Jewish leaders at the time. In John 7:16-24 Jesus is confronted for healing a man on the Sabbath who was crippled. Jesus got right to the heart of the issue, He told them, it was not keeping the laws to the letter that justified them, but rather understanding the heart of God and obeying.

You have stated your position well. I would suggest another way to look at it. God created us in His image. Created, not begot. We can not create anything outside of God. We can only beget what we are, meaning man cannot beget a monkey or anything else. The only thing that God begot was Jesus. God begets God. Every created thing begets in it's own likeness. The question is not if God could beget, but why? The Bible says it is for the purpose of us to know God / have salvation from sin.

My point is that if God wants to reveal Himself to us, what better way than to appear to us in the form of a man? Do you think that God cannot become a man and still remain God? Yes it is a dangerous thought, and even blasphemous if it is false, but if it's true, you better listen closely to what Jesus said. Jesus came to bring atonement for our sins so that we could be with God. God always required the Jews to present a blood sacrifice for atonement. How do you get your atonement for sin?

"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished" (Matthew 5:17-18).

We are all fallen and we all make our own mistakes that separate us from God. In Genesis 3:15 God says to the serpent, "And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise you on the head, And you shall bruise him on the heel." This is a prophecy of the Messiah that would come and conquer sinful nature that separates us from God. One of the Messiah's roles is to bring reconciliation with God. Prayer is not enough we need Jesus' sacrifice.

Jesus died on the cross, and because He was God and man, and without sin, the penalty of sin did not apply to him. He rose from the dead and promised that anyone who believes in Him would not be separated from God in the Judgment. This is why Jesus came and this was what He was talking about in fulfilling God's law.
