Just spoke to my Sweetie Richard (drummer) last night.. He tolkd me about this interview the guys did to promote the, "say No More" LP. Richard gave me this LP with a white cover simply marked, "Badfinger - DEMO." They were all new songs I've never heard before. Maybe it could be the follow-up LP Joey referred to that was never released. CHEERS!
Great clip. I remember when this album came out,and I went out and bought it. I have always believed that had this came out a year later when MTV was just breaking-Badfinger would have hit it big again.
this interview is a hoot!!!! so sad what happened..especially to PH and TE.

the best part is when tom evans says 1947 and everyone laughs, then joey says, he's the twinkle in his dad's eye, and it went dead silent

Did they actually record a follow-up album to Say No More? If it was never released, are the tapes floating about somewhere?
Would love to hear it!

I can see Joey wince when this reporter, who obviously knows nothing about Badfinger, makes that remark about McCartney leading them by the hand...oy
I guess I would be frustrated too which shows in this interview

3:40 Joey and Tommy make me laugh here! I also love Tom's "I never held his hand at all! It's all a rumor!"
Thanks for the video!

It's been written if '79's Airwaves lp had come out a mere year earlier, it would've had a much better shot at success.

I screwed up, thought it was 1985, but it was '81 I think.
Poor guys went through so many bad times and changes and just never really got a second wind. But their talent always shined through.

This must be late 70s, early 80s. After Pete, but still with Tom.
