At about 1:40 seconds into this video, the guy has to restart the ipod because it "locks up". Mine does this as well. If you don't mess with the player for a minute or two, it locks itself - is there ANY way to unlock this once it's been locked?? Or are you just screwed and have to shut it off? Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks.
It sounds like the memory is curupt. You can reformat it to fix this issure. If you can not fix it just return it and upgrade to a quality media player.

Oh. And mine did not come with a docking station thing. I'm not sure if it was not packaged with it or if it was taken out. The packaged was riped when I got it. Was is supposed to come with a manuel, because it didn't.
But could you please give me a detailed proess on how to reformat it. Because i can't listen to music, look at pictures, or watch video. And i only have 700mb left out of 2 gigs.
to format it , plug it into your computer wait for the drivers to load/install then go to my computer and right click the nano select format then start.. or heres a fantastic idea, google it
Ok after watching the video again it seems to me that the v2 is more of an upgrade to the 1:1 copy not the Nano exact. Since it's using an actionchipset which seems like a downgrade from what the nano exact had before.
That and the g-sensor thing doesnt seem to work half as well and the changing animation is now all wrong.
I've watched this video 3 times now and I still cannot see any worthwhile improvements. The thing that annoys me the most is that the hardware is using an Actions chipset where the v1 seemed to use a rockchip. Hence the 18 second bootup time which is Shit compared to the 2 second of the v1.
