Queensland was so much more distinct back in the late 70's and early 80's. For better or worse you really knew when you crossed the line into QLD, it's a bit of a shame that it's more or less like every other state these days.
Not much... just made a name for themselves in Neighbours during the early nineties and a couple of dance hits in the UK... nothing that holds up to the glorious 'Wombat' years.
They're okay... they have bodies of nine-year-old girls and faces of 21 year old women (well, in this video anyway). It's not a great combination... they improved as they got older...
Shame they were such bimbos on Neighbours.
Oh and Gillian, if you're reading this, my friend would like to know if you still want that Monitors video package sent to you... !
@kieran9093 I reckon it was because KISS was seen to be a reliable bridge between the 1970s and the early 1980s. If any big rock act from the 1970s was likely to succeed in the 1980s, it was going to be KISS. Not a bad prediction ... it's well past 2011 and Gene and Paul are still Rocking and Rolling Every Night and Partying Everyday.
That guitar solo is pretty rockin. I used to have a crush on the Blakeney twins in this clip when I was a kid.

Dead set shame that they weren't actually the vocal talent in this clip nor the "Nobody Told Me" clip. That honour goes to Kim Durant

This was like an anthem to my childhood years. I grew up throughout that decade. I was only 5 when it came out, but remember it on the radio.

The Blakeney twins used to work at Macca's in the Queens street mall Brisbane back then, so needless to say I used to frequent that place alot! lol
