  • Where is a good place to buy a cravat?

  • Clip on! :) lol... Good to know!, thnx

  • They are all cravats, tie doesnt exsist only cravat!!

  • his voice is akin to audible chocolate

  • Awesome! I love the fun of this video! I actually also just made a vid about the cravat, but it was about the origin of the cravat rather than how to tie one. Did you know that the cravat is from Croatia and that October 18 is INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE CRAVAT? (It's like a global bday for the Cravat!) If not, you might like my vid. :)

  • Whats a cravat?

  • @HardKore5250 google it :)

  • This is great. Tells you what to do, beyond just the basic instructions (Not just assuming that everyone knows!) and is also somewhat entertaining. Make more videos please! How to match a pocket square with your lovely cravat would be a good one!

  • My God, I want to have sex with your voice...

  • Brilliant!!! Just saved my bacon with an hour to go. Cheers Fella :)

  • The one I have has more equal sides.

  • Great and wry personality ! More videos ! You have the perfect demeanor for it !

  • Don't try and show us a black tie on a black shirt...kinda makes it a tad hard to see ¬_¬

  • oh my gosh the accent <3

  • The cravat in the picture is NOT tied just in the standard ascot not, but rather in a sort of double standard knot with crossed ends

  • @Codaky *standard ascot knot

  • Thank you very much , this tutorial should help me !!

  • Sharp...

  • Bad choise ofcolours - evade black, because the cravat itself cannot be seen very well. :) Other then that - thanks a lot!

  • I say! Its Pims o'clock.

  • THANKYOU!

  • Thank you. A very smooth performance. Viewers of this video might be interested in "How to tie a tie - Fully Explained" and "How to tie a bow tie - Fully Explained" to round off their knowledge of the way a gentleman dresses!

  • what's the difference between a cravat and an ascot

  • Thank you very much! Out of curiosity, is this how cravats were tied back in the 19th century as well? I'm going for an authentic Victorian look, and the cravat is simply a must... likewise, it seems as though the cravat and the necktie have a lot in common: in a pinch, could I get away with using a necktie as a cravat? Again, thank you so much for the video!

  • Not really. Neckties are thin at one end and wide at the other. Whereas an ascot is wide on both ends. The 19th century look you are aiming for, requires an ascot and uses more steps. After painstaking trial and error, i have managed to find out how to tie the one shown at 0:44.

  • Brilliant, very helpful.

  • SUIT UP!

  • Thank you very much, this was extremely helpful. My Nana wanted me to wear her Father's antique cravat when I accompanied her to a wedding, and I had No Idea how to tie it. Lol

  • Well, good to know. Thank you.

  • Where did this guy go? He made ONE video and hasn't signed in for a year. Good video thoug...

  • Hello! I'm still here I promise - just been using a different account! Hmm think i need to make some more videos...

Thanks for all your kind comments! :)

  • i have bookmarked this for just in case i get invited to a gay party

  • There's a better one than this for the modern wedding-type cravat - done by a pro: "How to tie a cravat for a wedding suit".
