Francis with hair doesn't look quite as imposing, and Luis (who isn't shown in this particular beta trailer), looks like a negative stereotype.....also this trailer tries to shout "HEY LOOK AT ME, I'M THE GREATEST ZOMBIE SHOOTER EVER!!!!" which may have appealed to earlier markets, but not so much now; they went with a more realistic look with more believable and relatable characters (as in you can totally imagine those people existing in real life, and not just in the movies)

That's the thing. L4D is a tribute to old Zombie movies. It's not supposed to be realistic like Fallout 3. That's why after the L4D2 intro it says "Now Playing".

It's not meant to look too realistic. It's just entertaining and a party game. This version looked too gritty and gross.

As for Louis, I think he looks fine the way he is. :)
