@Timenova2 It wasn't the same creature, as the metroid prime technically hadn't formed until the Leviathan crash landed on Tallon IV and chose a Tallon Metroid to become the guardian of the core. Those husks are just there for a cameo appearance. However, there are plenty of Phazon Metroids on Phaaze, the mystery of how Metroids ended up on planet Phaaze in the first place, is the mystery for the players to decide

funny how a metroid can be mutated that far past senteince....and if the phazon is so powerful in that leviathen its red, why isnt the planet phaaze red?????

Its a concentrated dosage of phazon that is rare. Phazon ore which is the general form is the most abundant and is blue. Possibly from being in the crater so long, a concentrated dosage formed. I can't say anything else about it though since I'm not entirely sure since I am only a Retro Moderator.

@SethSandwhisper It simply wasn't an element that we felt that we needed to carry on into Prime 3. We actually did however, if you remember the Phaazoids, there was a Red variant that was stronger and more resilient than the regular forms

Metroid Prime in her first form was easy on normal mode. I tried Hard mode and while I did that I played some hardcore DXBall2 music. I was so hyped up at moving around trying to make it look cool with the music, I wasn't paying attention to my energy meter then I died. (And that's what happens when you don't pay attention to your surrounding while fighting Metroid Prime on Hard mode.)
