@msjohnosn16 yeah there is, when I bought mine from the O2 website a few days ago it already came with a good memory card, but obviously you can buy your own and slot it under the batter. :}

It really took off when i installed custom roms from the community.

It was an excellent phone, back in the day. I still use it in my car as a gps navigator

So you got a response yet? Ive just done some research of my own :D Turns out that LG are releasing a newer version of this phone called the LG optimus one. They've probably fixed out all the faults with the g4 version such as the touch screen and battery life. This one also has version 2.2 android. It'll be probs out in november but i cant wait that long :( so i might as well stick to the original LG optimus. Any news on the update?

Try this....

Goto LG website, Download the Update Software Manager

Install...Etc

Then install usb device

Plug it in, and if you have a update...it should say. "Start Updating"

Click it, And WALA

I think for the GT540 it removes your contacts, apps, etc....

Everything that is stored in the internal memory

@1000erey2 only other one I know of (that is in the market at least) is capacative. Its response to touch is much more sensitive and allows the unit to respond to touch in multiple areas of the screen. Much better but resistive is still very good, its worked for the nintendo DS for a while ... its a comfort thing I suppose
